Hi Natasha,

You definitely should give it a go 🙂

From the Aspire devices you mentioned the Tigon would be my recommendation using it in Mouth to lung mode (which is similar draw to a cigarette) – You can read our review for that here – https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/aspire-tigon-review/ – Any specific questions on that device leave a comment on that post and Neil will help answer there.

As for SMOKO.. Not one of the mainstream brands so to speak but they have been in business for many years and we really enjoyed their products. Mainly due to the simplicity for new vapers. The Vape Pen (review: https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/smoko-vape-e-cigarette-review/) is super easy to use and comes with pre-filled tanks/cartridges.

It is also a fair bit smaller than the Tigon vape pen. Which may or may not be a factor for your first vape.

And yeah, for us the e-liquid version can be better in terms of flavour. The ‘cig style’ just offers a smaller form factor but with that comes reduced battery life. Not a huge issue if you have 2 or 3 of the battery to use in rotation.

So.. To narrow things down here are some recommendations that we have found good for new vapers. I’ve included pod systems as these are great devices and are small, portable and easy to use.

Devices with Pre-filled tanks/pods/cartridges (No need to buy e-liquid and fill separately, pick up and vape type of devices)

– SMOKO Vape Pen https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/smoko-vape-e-cigarette-review/
– Apollo Brez (Pod System) – https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/apollo-brez-pod-kit-review/
– Jacvapour Vim (Pod System) (Both pre-filled and empty pods available, the latter of which you can use your own e-liquid) – https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/jac-vapour-wee-vim-review/

Devices that you can refill with your own e-liquid:

JAC Vapour S17 (Vape Pen) – https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/jacvapour-series-s-review/
Aspire Tigon (Vape Pen) – https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/aspire-tigon-review/
SMOK Nord 2 (Pod System) – https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/smok-nord-2-review/
Uwell Caliburn (Pod System) – https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/uwell-caliburn-pod-kit-review/

Try not to get too confused with all the options laid out above.. You won’t go too far wrong with any of them.. Of course, any questions about specific product listed above then leave a comment on the individual reviews or if any other question just reply here 🙂

I have been looking at some vapes and I like the ones that are like pens (they look nicer and more feminine) the ones that have taken my interest (possibly because the brand is so well known) is the Aspire Pockex, Aspire Tigon and Aspire Tigon AIO. I have also looked at SMOKO both the E-cig and the new one they have which is the SMOKO E-liquid Vape. I am confuzzled as to which would be best and whether also to get one of the SMOKO ones (either e-cig or vape) and get an Aspire Vape so I am always sure I have a backup (if that makes sense) What is the difference between the SMOKO ones (apart from one is liquid the other is e-cig) does the liquid one last longer, taste better etc? Also which is the better Aspire Vape or is there any others that are similar that are better in a pen like form. Your help and advice would be much appreciated seeing as you are a total guru where vaping is concerned. Many Thanks (in advance)

Thanks very much mate – appreciate that 🙂 I’m sure Jonny will be along in a wee while – when he gets a quick break from ‘toddler watch’ that is 🙂

Hi Rohit,

Take a look over the recommendations above again.

Specifically number 1, 2, 4 and 8 are simple to use for new vapers making the switch from smoking.

If you have any specific questions on these please let me know.
