Design & Build Quality

With the Palette, Reign Bar have designed a modular device that consists of two devices that can work independently of one another, or they can be ‘snapped’ together magnetically to create one unit.

This also opens up ‘flavour creation’ options, as you can combine two different flavours from Reign Bar Palette units! These snap together satisfyingly, and are held together with strong magnets.

Plus, by combining two different flavoured Reign Bar units, you can create some interesting colour combinations and change the whole look of the device!

Also, intriguingly, you can vape on just one half of a Reign Bar Palette unit as well, as these can operate independently of one another.

They have their own drip tips, LED screens, airflow control and even their own Type-C charging ports.

When you have a ‘whole’ Reign Bar Palette device, it measures in at 99mm x 27mm x 53.6mm, fitting nicely in the palm of my hand and feeling comfortable thanks to the smooth, rounded edges.

Quick Start Guide

With the Reign Bar Palette, you have the ability to vape right out of the box thanks to the auto draw system. Just take a puff on the device to vape!

As mentioned, each half of the device can work independently of one another. You can split the device into two halves, and vape each one if you so wish, as well as mixing flavours around.

Each half has its own LED screen, displaying the battery and e-liquid level, as well as the intensity. You can adjust the intensity of the vape by pressing the button, and there are three different levels to cycle through.

On the base, there is a sliding switch to adjust the airflow as well as Type-C charging ports.

Charging

On first inspection, this might be a little confusing as two Type-C charging ports are present on the base.

However, you do only need to use one charging port to charge up your Reign Bar Palette, and it charges at the same rate regardless of whether you are charging one half independently or both snapped together.

It isn’t the quickest at charging though, with a full charge taking just over an hour.

Flavours

In total, there are 17 different flavours to pick from through 14 kits, and yes you can mix and match all of these around. It will be interesting to see what flavour combinations people can come up with!

You have Watermelon Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Mexico Mango, Cherry Lemon, OMG B-Pop, Fcuking Fab, Miami Mint, Raspberry Lemonade, Strawberry Banana, Cool Mint and Virginia Tobacco.

There are also three ‘special flavour combinations’ in Caramel Cream x Ice Coffee, Root Beer x Vanilla Ice Cream and Cheese Cake x Strawberry.

I must say that the special flavour combinations look right up my street!

Reign Bar sent me ten of the flavours and here are my thoughts…

Cool Mint

Immediately I notice the crisp and robust mint leaf flavouring, which is strong and robust regardless of the intensity level selected. This is followed up with a satisfying cooling note which pairs perfectly with the mint.

By cranking up the intensity level to the max, I get a strong menthol hit which suits my palate perfectly!

Also, Cool Mint can be combined with pretty much any of the other flavours in the range below for some great tasting results, adding a lovely icy hit to the sweet flavours.

Mexico Mango

With Mexico Mango, Reign Bar produce a flavour blend that gets very close to the actual taste of an actual ripe mango flavour!

There’s a bit of cooling present too, which can be intensified by combining this one with the Cool Mint, and a lot of sweetener.

They’ve done an excellent job with the blending here and produced an authentic tasting mango vape.

Fcuking Fab

I mentioned in my review of the Reign Bar Mana 50K range that this was a flavour that had my tastebuds totally confused, and the same applies with the Palette version!

For me, it’s predominantly a flavour profile that is absolutely saturated in sweetener, with tropical notes, some grape and even what tastes like an energy drink too! There’s a hell of a lot going on here.

Though, I did find that combining it with the Blue Razz Ice actually produced some strangely pleasant results!

Blue Razz Ice

This is one of my favourite tasting Blue Razz Ice blends that I have tried out!

On the inhale, I pick up on a thick and sticky blueberry flavouring that has a level of sweetener that almost coats my teeth. Underpinning this is raspberry, adding some sour notes, before a breezy cooling sensation sweeps in.

Blue Razz Ice goes very well with the Raspberry Lemonade too, creating a real fruity and fizzy sensation!

Raspberry Lemonade

Now this is a little belter of a blend, with authentic tasting sour raspberry blending in with a zingy and tangy lemonade flavouring, and a cheeky bit of fizz at the end to finish off.

A subtle cooling notes gives this a ‘fresh out the fridge’ raspberry lemonade vibe, and increasing the intensity level gives this a very sweet and chilly feel.

As mentioned, this can be combined with Blue Razz Ice for some great results, or if you really want to send your tastebuds haywire then blend it with Fcuking Fab or OMG B POP!

Strawberry Banana

The most dominant flavour here is without a doubt the strawberry, which is a candied type of strawberry flavouring. The banana sits in the background and lends a creamy feel to the vape.

I didn’t get great results when combining this with other flavours in the range if I am honest, this one is best left alone!

Watermelon Ice

This is your typical Watermelon Ice flavour, so you get an artificial tasting candied watermelon that is reminiscent of a watermelon chew type of candy, and a fairly robust cooling sensation to finish it off.

I found that it does go well with the Miami Mint and Cherry Lemon!

Miami Mint

I’ve described this in the Reign Bar Mana 50K review as having a ‘strongly flavoured toothpaste’ vibe and I still can’t get that out of my mind!

So yes, strongly flavoured toothpaste mixed with some elements of citrus! Though it is weirdly moreish, and I kept finding myself coming back to it.

You can mix this one with most of the flavours in the range here for some intriguing and tasty results!

OMG B POP

This is another ‘WTF’ flavour much like Fcuking Fab!

It’s sweetness overload, there’s a lot of different fruits present here and a lot of sweetener, so definitely one for people that enjoy a very sweet vaping experience.

In terms of the fruits, I pick up on some raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and I think what tastes like cotton candy in the background too!

I’ve mixed this one with Cherry Lemon, Miami Mint, Fcuking Fab and Raspberry Lemonade to really confuse my palate!

Cherry Lemon

There’s a lovely thick and syrupy dark cherry flavour to kick things off, and a tangy citrus note of lemon in the background.

I didn’t think the two flavours would work together but Reign Bar have done a great job with the blending.

I found that Cherry Lemon combines really well with Raspberry Lemonade and Mexico Mango strangely enough, but that is the beauty of this range- you can really experiment with the flavours!

How Does The Reign Bar Palette Perform?

This is a ‘tale of two halves’!

Firstly, you can vape one half of the Reign Bar Palette independently of the other, with a maximum power output of 14W. I did find this a little weak for my tastes though.

By combining the two halves of the device, you can vape at up to 28W, which is a bit more like it for me!

Though this might be a bit much for some users, so you can adjust the intensity of the vape by using the button on the screen, which makes slight tweaks to the power output of the device.

These have a nicotine strength of 50mg, so these hit hard and cravings can be satisfied within a couple of puffs, they certainly were for me!

In terms of the airflow, you can adjust this using the switches on the base of each half of the device to get anything from a tight MTL hit right up to a borderline restricted lung hit.

With the airflow fully open, you can get some pretty dense vapour production too.

Battery life is dependent on the intensity level and how frequently you draw on it, but for most users you can easily get a full day from it.

How Many Puffs Can You Get From A Reign Bar Palette?

Reign Bar say that you can expect up to 50,000 puffs from a Reign Bar Palette, but this will depend on your usage and vaping habits.

Your puff count will vary depending on the selected intensity level as well as how frequently you draw on the device and how long you draw on it for.

When using a Reign Bar Palette solely at the highest intensity level, I got 7,356 puffs from it. Though by reducing the intensity level, and vaping one half of the device independent of the other, you can expect far more puffs.

Pros

Final Verdict

Reign Bar have developed a device here that allows you to get creative and experiment with different flavour combinations and intensity levels for some tasty results!

And props to Reign Bar for the quality of the flavours too, it feels like some expert mixing expertise has gone into developing the flavour blends, with some very tasty results for the most part.

I do love how this has been designed so that the two halves of the device can work independently of one another, showing a commitment to innovation and pushing the boundaries of a vaping device.

So, alongside the Reign Bar Mana 50K, Reign Bar have got a couple of winners on their hands here and I look forward to seeing more of what they release in the future!

Design & Build Quality

The device itself it palm-sized, measuring in at 55mm x 28mm x 102mm, and is pretty light too. Though if you have small hands, you will struggle to close your fingers around one of these!

A couple of design aspects stand out to me here. First is the transparent viewing window on the side of the device, which allows you to see exactly how much e-liquid remains in the tank. This is a helpful feature as it allows you to visually keep track of your e-liquid.

Secondly, the prominent intelligent dynamic screen is bright and bold, displaying the sweetness and ice level and the remaining battery as a percentage. I’ve found this to be clear and easy to see under any type of light conditions.

At the top of the screen are two buttons used for adjusting the sweetness level and the coolness of your e-liquid, though these can be easily pressed accidentally which has an impact on your vape.

On the base of the device is a functional switch, allowing you to switch between eco and boost modes, as well as locking the device down entirely.

Quick Start Guide

An auto draw function is found on the Reign Bar Mana 50K so if you really want to, you can just go right ahead and vape one of these out of the box!

Just take a draw on the mouthpiece in order to get the device to fire.

Eco and Boost modes are available to choose from, Eco mode will restrict the power output to improve battery life, Boost mode provides a much stronger vape but at the cost of battery life and total puffs.

Also, a funky feature here is that you have the ability to adjust the level of sweetness as well as the cooling level of your vape!

The buttons at the top of the screen allow you to do this, and you can cycle through four different sweetness and ice settings independently. A pretty cool function and something I haven’t come across before!

To lock the device down altogether, slide the switch over to ‘close’. You won’t be able to adjust the sweetness or ice levels nor will you be able to draw on it with this active.

Charging

A Type-C charging port is located at the base of the Reign Bar Mana 50K, so you just have to plug in a compatible Type-C charging cable and use a suitable power output source.

I did find that the charging time is quite slow overall, taking around an hour for a full charge.

Flavours

Reign Bar have released the Reign Bar Mana 50K range with ten flavours, which are Mexico Mango, Juicy Peach Ice, Strawberry Kiwi, Watermelon Ice, Grape Ice, Sour Cranapple, Miami Mint, Fcuking Fab, Blue Razz Ice and Icy Mint.

As mentioned, with the flavours, you can adjust the sweetness level as well as the cooling sensation with each one. So if you like your blends very sweet and bone chillingly cold, you have that option!

Reign Bar kindly sent over eight of them for me to try out and here are my thoughts!

Mexico Mango

Putting the name to one side, this is an excellent straightforward mango blend.

Reign Bar have done superbly well to capture the essence of what actual ripe mango tastes like, and have distilled this in vaping form.

Cranking the sweetness and the cooling level right up gives you a vape that is similar to the old Malaysian styled mango blends that were all the rage a few years back, with a teeth chattering chill combined with sweetness that will almost make your eyes water!

Juicy Peach Ice

Well this is another one where Reign Bar have replicated the taste of an actual fruit!

The authenticity here is excellent, almost like biting into an actual peach, and there’s a juicy thickness in the background as well which adds another layer of authenticity.

This becomes even more noticeable when you dial down the sweetness and ice level to the minimum.

Despite not being a fan of overly sweet blends, I must confess that I did really enjoy this one with the sweetness level turned up to the max along with the ice too!

Fcuking Fab

Well this is a bit of a strange one for me and I struggled to put my finger on what the exact flavour was.

There’s a strange mix of different flavours present, and it is very sweet even at the base sweetness setting. No amount of adjusting the ice output did much to change it!

I got some grape and a hint of some tropical notes in the background, plus what tasted like an energy drink type flavour.

I can’t say that I really know what is going on here and in all honestly it is like a whole bunch of different flavours have been chucked together!

I wasn’t a fan of this one if I’m honest, which is a shame as I really enjoyed the other flavours!

Blue Razz Ice

Reign Bar have truly crafted a balanced profile here!

It starts with a rich, jam-like blueberry that marries seamlessly with a bold raspberry. Both fruits maintain equal prominence throughout the draw, followed by a noticeable, yet balanced, cooling sensation right at the exhale, which can of course be intensified to your liking.

While the sweetness is generous, the star of the show is the finish: a delightful sour tang that lands last, leaving a genuinely satisfying tingle on the tongue. This is a vape that executes both flavour intensity and textural experience almost flawlessly!

Grape Ice

I initially braced myself for a blast of artificial, grape soda sweetness, but what I actually experienced was far more sophisticated!

This has a flavour profile leaning toward authentic dark grape. This blend presents a deep grape essence, carefully layered with a distinct note of sourness and just enough sweetener to enhance, not overpower.

While it’s expertly balanced and quite authentic, the cooling element by default was a let-down as there’s only a subtle chill, not the icy blast I anticipated. Though that being said, I changed that simply by adjusting the ice setting and cranking it right up, making it more suited to my tastes!

Sour Cranapple

If the name didn’t already give it away, what we have here is a blend of sour cranberries and apple. Quite interesting if I must say so myself!

The two flavours work really well together, with the sourness from the cranberries playing off nicely with the sharp notes from the apple flavouring. Both of them taste more authentic than candied too.

This is another blend that really benefits from enhancing the icy notes.

Watermelon Ice

Well, this blend lands squarely in the expected territory: a synthetic candied watermelon flavour heavily reliant on sweetener, backed up with menthol.

Unsurprisingly, it offers nothing unique to distinguish it from the crowded market, even when

Interestingly, switching to boost mode, reducing the sweetness level to minimum and changing the ice output to maximum actually improved the profile.

The artificial watermelon notes were notably dulled somewhat, allowing the menthol cooling agent to come forward and dominate the experience.

Miami Mint

The defining feature here is an overwhelming mint that borders on the flavour of a strongly flavoured toothpaste.

While there is a recognisable cooling lift tucked into the background, the experience is absolutely dominated by this sharp mint.

The citrus elements attempt to provide balance and justification for the “Miami” namesake, but they play a clear supporting role to the dominant menthol.

So, it’s kind of like a tingly toothpaste mixed with citrus, which actually tastes a lot better than how I have described it there!

How Does The Reign Bar Mana 50K Perform?

Each Reign Bar Mana 50K device is set up for mouth to lung vaping and features a quad coil set up, which is markedly different when compared to the industry standard dual mesh coil.

I can really taste the difference that the quad coil set up provides as well, as the flavours here are notably quite intense when you compare the Reign Bar Mana 50K to other similar 50mg devices.

There’s the option of vaping in Eco mode, which restricts the power output to give you more puffs and battery life, or Boost mode which has you vaping at up to 31W but at the cost of reduced battery life and puffs.

I can tell you, hitting a 50mg device at 31W is quite something, it satisfies those nicotine cravings almost immediately, with a satisfying plume of vapour to boot!

In terms of battery life, one of these will see you through a whole day regardless of whether you use Eco or Boost mode.

To be fair, I have only really had to use Eco mode to get me out of a pinch once or twice!

How Many Puffs Can You Get From A Reign Bar Mana 50K?

Reign Bar say that you can get up to 50,000 puffs from eco mode and up to 30,000 from boost mode.

Your puff count will vary depending on the mode selected as well as how frequently you draw on the device and how long you draw on it for.

I’ve been testing these out quite extensively and can say that my puff counts have varied, from as low as 5,666 when solely using boost mode to 24,345 in eco mode.

I do take quite long and frequent puffs though when I vape!

Final Verdict

This is the first Reign Bar product that I have had my hands on and I have to say that it is a winner!

I’ve tried out a lot of high strength nicotine devices in the past and at times, the flavour can be affected by the strength of the nicotine. Not so here!

When vaping a Reign Bar Mana 50K I almost forgot I was vaping 50mg nicotine strength, such is the smoothness and quality of the flavours on offer here. The flavours really are some of the best I’ve tried when it comes to a 50mg device.

It didn’t let me forget that I was vaping a 50mg device though, as these do hit hard, especially when I had one set on the boost function!

I liked the ability to customise how sweet the flavour is and the menthol level too. This allows me to switch up the flavour on the fly and tailor it to my own liking.

Of course, most of the time that involved having the sweetness dialled down and the menthol dialled right up!

So, if you are looking for a kit that hits hard, delivers excellent flavour and allows you to tailor the sweetness and menthol to your own liking, then look no further than the Reign Bar Mana 50K!

There’s not really much here to speak of, you get the ANYX GM 25000 device inside the box, but that is it really- not even an instruction manual/warnings booklet.

With a disposable device like this, an instruction manual isn’t really needed, but if you do need any pointers then our ‘Quick Start Guide’ below will help you out!

Design & Build Quality

The ANYX GM 25000 is a palm sized device constructed from PC & ABS & PCTG, that measures in at 28mm x 54mm x 110mm, and it has a bit of weight to it as well at 84.2g.

At the top of the GM 25000 is a large, prefilled 12ml pod that is fixed to the device, the transparent design allows you to see the full e-liquid capacity.

Inside the pod is a 1.4ohm G Mesh coil, and at the top is a duckbilled shaped mouthpiece that sits in the mouth comfortably.

A unique feature found on the GM 25000 is the detachable screen, it’s certainly the first device that I have used that has one!

Essentially, the screen attaches to the device magnetically, allowing you to take it off.

It’s a fairly handy option to have in practice, as the screen itself lights up quite brightly so if you find that you need to vape stealthily, you can remove it and be left with a discreet four LED option to indicate battery life.

Now, a downside that I found with the detachable screen was that I found myself inadvertently fiddling with it, but also I had a couple of issues where the screen came off with minimal pressure applied, which was a bit of a pain when it happened in the car and ended up lodged under my seat!

The screen itself features a smart, futuristic design that shows the ANYX logo, battery percentage and a puff counter in seconds and milliseconds (for those that are really precise about their vaping habits), this goes completely black a few seconds after you have had a puff.

Quick Start Guide

All you need to do here to get vaping is to remove the silicone stopper that is poking out of the mouthpiece and you are ready to vape. An auto draw system is used here so just take a puff to get going!

You can adjust the airflow by using the slider on the side of the device, this gives you the option of vaping either mouth to lung or direct to lung.

Charging

A USB-C charging port is present at the base of the device, but no charging cable is included in the box, so you will need to supply your own.

The GM 25000 charges up pretty rapidly as well, you can check on the percentage in real time on screen, so there’s no real waiting around to get vaping again!

Flavours

At launch, there are ten different flavours, with plans for two more to release in the future.

Interestingly, five of these are available in 20mg nicotine salt strength, and five are available in 30mg.

The five 20mg strength ones are Blueberry Ice, Grape Kiwi Ice, Triple Mango, Blackcurrant Lychee and Blueberry Passionfruit, these are also the five that I received for review.

In 30mg strength you have Sea Salt Lemon, Mint Ice, Watermelon Ice, Aloe Grape and the fantastically-named Power Swater!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy with the five I got for review, but I would have loved to have tried out Sea Salt Lemon and Power Swater!

Blueberry Ice

This was probably the most mundane flavour out of the five that I got to try out, it is a Blueberry Ice flavour that doesn’t really do much different to the hundreds of others that I have tried.

It offers an authentic tasting blueberry flavour, tasting quite bold and thick, though the icy menthol finish could do with being turned up a notch as I did feel that it was a little bit on the weak side.

Triple Mango

Well stone me, this offers an absolute ton of mango flavour, this is mango flavouring turned up to the max!

And this is delivered without a load of artificial sweetener too, the natural mango flavouring is allowed to shine through and take centre stage, and this really does taste like biting into fresh mango fruit.

My pick of the five that I got to review!

Blackcurrant Lychee

This is a really interesting combination, and one that I haven’t tried out before. I enjoy blackcurrant and lychee flavours, and these two together were a real winner!

The blackcurrant comes in at the start and is more subtle than I expected it to be, and the lychee was by far the more dominant flavour out of the two.

I found this to be quite a refreshing combination, especially as there seems to be a hint of a cooling element on the exhale.

Blueberry Passion Fruit

On the inhale I get plenty of thick blueberry flavouring, this actually felt more pronounced than the flavouring present in the blueberry ice version, before a sweet and authentic tasting passionfruit comes in.

Again, this is something a bit different from ANYX, they have taken two fruit vape flavours and combined them to provide an almost exotic cocktail like flavour!

Grape Kiwi Ice

Hmmm I can’t think of a time that I have tried these flavours in combination, and it is nice to try out something a little different!

A tangy grape pairs very nicely with the exotic kiwi flavouring and the cooling element finishes this off nicely, providing a refreshing chill at the end.

How Does The ANYX GM 25000 Perform?

Each ANYX GM 25000 device features a 1.4ohm G Mesh coil, with a fixed power output delivered to it. This seems to be quite consistent during use, with the performance only starting to drop off when the battery reaches 25% and under.

I was quite impressed with just how smoothly these vape as well, really allowing me to savour the flavour notes.

Airflow

On the side of the GM 25000 is an airflow adjustment slider that offers the option to vape mouth to lung, restricted direct lung and I can also just about get an unrestricted lung hit off of it with the airflow fully open- though it isn’t my preferred way to vape one of these as I feel the flavour takes a bit of a hit!

I found the restricted lung hit option was just about perfect for me, with a good mix of tasty flavour and dense vapour.

Battery Life

This is one area where the GM 25000 could do with improving, as the built in 550mAh battery cannot quite keep up.

I certainly wasn’t getting a whole day out of a single charge, that is for sure! One of these would last me around six hours from a full charge, and that would deplete the battery right down to zero.

I did find that if I removed the screen that I got a slight improvement in battery life, but this only gave me about an extra hour’s worth of vaping.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An ANYX GM 25000?

ANYX reckon that you can get up to 25000 puffs from the pre-filled 12ml pod, but figures such as these are usually obtained in laboratory settings by testing a device using less than one second puffs, which doesn’t really reflect real life usage where most people will puff for 2-3 seconds.

Total puff counts can also vary depending on your own vaping habits, such as how long you take a puff for and how frequently you vape on your device. If you take frequent, long puffs then your puff count will reduce accordingly.

I tallied how many puffs I got from the Triple Mango ANYX GM 25000, and I got 8,021 puffs before the pod had run out of juice. That was taking puffs that were quite frequent, and consistently in the 2-3 second region.

Pros

• Some really great flavours here
• Adjustable airflow allows for different vaping options
• Recharges quickly
• Very easy to use
• Vapes very smoothly

Cons

• It’s a fully disposable vape, so a lot of waste here
• No instruction manual in the box
• Detachable screen has a tendency to come off easily
• Battery doesn’t last the whole day

Final Verdict

One thing I was most impressed with here was just how fresh and clean tasting the five flavours I got to try out were, none of them tasted too artificial or over-sweetened. Triple Mango was a particular highlight!

On the whole the flavours that make up the range are what sets the ANYX GM 25000 apart from many other disposables, with some very interesting and different blends on offer compared to your usual ones that have flooded the market.

ANYX have calibrated the power output almost to perfection here too, ensuring that I got a smooth vape each and every time I took a puff on my GM 25000.

I can’t help but think that surely the design of the device could be easily adapted for the UK market, as it stands it will not be compliant with the incoming regulations on disposable vapes due to the fixed 12ml pre-filled pod. And I believe these flavours would do pretty well over here.

Maybe ANYX could adapt the design to make these great flavours accessible to UK based vapers? Time will tell!

Design & Build Quality

So, what we have here is a small, boxed-shape device that comes in a few different colours depending on which flavour you have opted for.

The IVG SAVR measures 82mm x 43mm x 23mm and weighs 58g with the pod and refill container inserted. This actually feels quite lightweight in the hand and I would definitely say that this is a pocket-friendly kit.

With the pod and refill container inserted into the device, you do actually need to remove it if you want to check how much e-liquid you have left in the pod, but you can’t actually check how much is left in the refill container.

For the price, I can’t have any complaints about the build quality. Yes it does feel a little plastic-ky but there wasn’t any rattling or creaking from the device, plus all the ones I have used have held up well during use so far.

Quick Start Guide

A “Press, Click, Slide and Vape” system is used with the IVG SAVR, designed to simplify the set-up process.

You’ll need to put the pod and refill container together before inserting it into the device and the set-up process is as follows:

• Remove the cap from the mouthpiece by pressing the tabs and pulling downwards, then remove the silicone stopper inside.
• Press the tank and mouthpiece together firmly until they click.
• Insert the pod into the IVG SAVR device. You are now ready to vape!

This is an auto-draw device, with fixed airflow and power output, so once you’ve completed the set up process you just take a puff on the mouthpiece to vape!

Charging

Charging is via the USB-C port located on the base of the device, so you’ll need to lay it on its side whilst charging. No USB-C cable is included with the kit, so you’ll need to use one you already own or source a new one.

I couldn’t find a listed charging rate for the device but I’ve found that one of these will charge up from flat to full in around 45 minutes.

Flavours

Initially, IVG have launched the SAVR range with fifteen different flavours, however the range will shortly expand to a massive thirty flavours in total! These are:

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry, Blue Raspberry Ice, Fizzy Cherry, Fresh Mint, Blue Sour Raspberry, Strawberry Ice, Pineapple Ice, Pink Lemonade, Lemon Lime, Watermelon Ice, Tobacco, Kiwi Passionfruit Guava, Strawberry Watermelon, Grape Ice, Double Apple, Cola Ice, Blueberry Raspberry, Blue Razz Lemonade, Peach Ice, Blue Razz Cherry, Strawberry Kiwi, Red Fusion, Pro Blue, Mango, Fresh Menthol Mojito, Classic Menthol, Cherry Ice, Blueberry, Berry Ice and Banana Ice.

Phew, that’s an awful lot of flavours, I think there is something for pretty much everyone there!

The refill containers have not been released as yet but the IVG website promises they are coming soon!

Strawberry Ice

They say:

Deliciously sweet strawberries mixed with a frosty chill to create an icy, fruity flavour.

We say:

So this one reminds me exactly of those chewy strawberry sweets I loved as a kid, there’s a very similar sort of flavour and texture.

I really enjoyed that candy-like quality and the balance of sweetness is just right.

However, it loses a few points because the “Ice” element is practically non-existent in this blend. There’s hardly any cooling sensation at all that I could pick up on.

Cola Ice

They say:

Cola paired with a frosty chill for a classic and rich taste of your favourite beverage.

We say:

In the realm of disposables and pre-filled pods, this Cola Ice flavour is easily among the best I’ve encountered.

IVG has clearly mastered the elusive cola profile – a feat many have attempted, but few have achieved. From the very first draw, the flavour is rich, full-bodied and undeniably authentic. The subtle icy note adds another dimension of realism, perfectly complementing the classic cola taste. And the sweetness? Precisely balanced, never overpowering.

While the icy kick requires a slightly deeper, more deliberate inhale, that extra effort is well rewarded. It elevates the experience to a whole new level of refreshing satisfaction.

It’s evident that IVG’s flavour artistry is at play here. This isn’t just a cola vape; it’s a meticulously crafted blend, a testament to their expertise in flavour development.

Blueberry Raspberry

From the first puff, the juicy blueberry and raspberry flavours burst onto the palate, delivering a full-bodied mixed berry explosion. Both the blueberry and raspberry taste remarkably authentic.

The texture is deliciously thick and syrupy, reminiscent of homemade jam, clinging to the tongue with a satisfying sweetness. And while it’s certainly sweet, it avoids being cloying.

It’s a delightful concoction, a vibrant and refreshing fruity indulgence that hits all the right notes.

Blue Sour Raspberry

They say:

Sweet fruits with a sour twist: Tart raspberries infused with sweet, juicy blueberries.

We say:

IVG clearly knows a thing or two about crafting a delectable Blue Sour Raspberry e-liquid and this one is a prime example.

It’s a beautifully balanced blend of tangy, sweet and sour blue raspberry. The ratio of raspberry to blueberry feels just right and that sour twang at the finish is absolutely delightful.

A subtle chill accompanies the flavour, perfectly complementing the blue sour raspberry notes.

Yes, it’s sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Unlike many others, the sweetness here enhances the blue sour raspberry rather than masking it. The sweetener allows the fruity notes to truly shine, rather than drowning them out in artificial flavouring.

Blue Raspberry Ice

They say:

This beautifully blended blue raspberry is complemented by a blast of icy coolness.

We say:

The Blue Raspberry Ice flavour profile is definitely reminiscent of the Blue Sour Raspberry, but with a twist. The sourness has been dialled back and the icy chill cranked up, but other than that I didn’t feel like there was a whole lot of difference here.

It’s still a win in my book, as I was a big fan of the Blue Sour Raspberry flavour and I do enjoy a menthol blast in my vapes.

While the menthol isn’t quite as intense as I personally would prefer, I understand the balance. If it were any stronger, it might alienate a lot of vapers.

Blue Razz Lemonade

They say:

Tangy blue raspberry and crisp lemonade combined for a vibrant refreshing flavour.

We say:

This Blue Razz Lemonade blend is almost perfect. I would say that the lemonade just needed to be a little bit more prominent as the blue razz flavouring definitely takes centre stage here!

The flavour isn’t overdone or excessively sweet; the balance is just right. It’s smooth, with a subtle throat hit and a pleasant cooling sensation on the tongue, making for a truly refreshing vape.

Fresh Mint

They say:

An invigorating fresh minty flavour, offering a chill, crisp and soothing taste.

We say:

I’m a pretty big fan of minty blends and I know what I like – crisp, minty, with a powerful cooling blast.

This one comes so close to hitting all the right notes.

The inhale delivers a full-bodied mint flavour, with a sweet and sharp edge. Then comes the menthol – and it’s intense. It delivers a substantial throat hit, probably one of the strongest I’ve experienced in a disposable.

While it might be a tad too powerful for some, it’s right in my sweet spot.

Double Apple

They say:

Red and Green apples come together for a crisp, sweet flavour.

We say:

I’m absolutely hooked on the crisp Red apple flavour in this e-liquid! It’s so authentic, it’s like biting into a real apple with every puff. Juicy and perfectly sweet, it’s a true delight.

The Green apple flavouring offers the same level of authenticity and becomes more prominent right at the end. It’s like a wave of Green apple flavouring washes right over my tastebuds.

There’s also a pleasing cooling undertone present throughout that also builds in strength towards the end of the puff, complementing the Red and Green apple flavourings delightfully.

Fizzy Cherry

They say:

Tangy cherries infused with a hint of fizz, creating a refreshing and moreish flavour.

We say:

This Fizzy Cherry blend left me wanting a little more if I’m honest, I felt that it was a little flat overall.

The inhale delivers a cherry note, but it’s rather bland and generic, lacking the depth I expect. The cherry flavouring itself is muted and despite my best efforts, there’s no fizz to be found.

It’s not unpleasant, but it’s simply underwhelming. The lack of both fizz and overall depth to the flavour is a real let-down in my own eyes.

Grape Ice

They say:

The rich taste of ripe, bold grapes combined with an icy blast for an ultimate refreshment.

We say:

If you’re a fan of iced grape soda flavours, then this blend is a must-try!

It’s remarkably close to the real thing, just missing a bit of that fizzy effervescence. Yes, it’s a candied, artificial grape flavour, but the blend is expertly done. The grape flavour is prominent without being overwhelming.

The menthol provides a perfect counterpoint to the grape, adding a pleasant chill that runs throughout the vape.

Kiwi Passionfruit Guava

They say:

Ripe kiwis, tangy passionfruit, and rich guava creates a true taste of the tropics.

We say:

Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava blends can be tricky. Often, they’re either overly sharp and sweet, or the delicate balance of flavours gets completely muddled.

But this one? It’s a masterclass in balance. The passion fruit and kiwi taste remarkably authentic, with a delightful hint of guava adding complexity. No single flavour overpowers the others and none get lost in the mix – the hallmark of a truly great blend.

Pineapple Ice

They say:

Pineapple paired with a frosty kick for a fusion of tropical sweetness and chill.

We say:

Pineapple Ice is a popular flavour these days, with a ton of options vying for attention.

Whereas some pineapple ice vapes can be harsh and artificial, this one is surprisingly smooth. While it delivers a strong, disposable-style flavour, the pineapple itself tastes like sweet, refreshing pineapple juice.

The menthol is well-balanced, providing a consistent cooling sensation that intensifies with deeper inhales.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one and finished it off pretty quickly, which speaks volumes. Definitely a winner!

Lemon Lime

They say:

Bright citrusy lemons with a sweet twist followed by the aromatic zest of fresh lime.

We say:

So many lemon-lime vapes these days taste like those lemon-lime ice pops, which is fine, but this one offers something a bit different.

It’s a balanced blend of lemon and lime, reminiscent of your favourite lemon-lime candies – I’d even go so far as to say it’s like a handful of lemon and lime Starburst sweets. There’s a satisfyingly full mouthfeel, too.

If I had one tiny critique, it might be that it could be slightly sweeter. But honestly, that’s just my personal preference. I suspect most vapers opting for a flavour like this one will find the sweetness level perfectly dialled in.

Watermelon Ice

They say:

Luscious watermelon blended with an icy kick to deliver a sweet, icy delight.

We say:

The watermelon flavour in this one fell flat for me. It tasted washed out and artificial, with a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste for me.

While the icy cooling sensation is definitely pronounced – perhaps even too strong – it overshadows the already weak watermelon flavour.

Regular readers will know that watermelon isn’t exactly my favourite flavour to begin with and this experience certainly didn’t change my mind.

Strawberry Watermelon

They say:

Mouth-watering strawberries and sweet watermelons combine for the perfect juiciness burst.

We say:

With Strawberry Watermelon blends, I tend to find that the watermelon flavouring usually bullies the strawberry into oblivion, making it a difficult flavour note to pick out.

But this one? It’s a refreshing change. Finally, I can actually taste the strawberry – a rare treat in this flavour category. And surprisingly, the strawberry complements the watermelon quite nicely.

The inhale delivers a burst of watermelon, quickly followed by the strawberry, creating a harmonious blend. The sweetness is definitely there, but it’s not cloying.

While the flavour profile leans more towards candied than truly authentic fruit, it avoids being overly artificial or exaggerated. If you’re a fan of watermelon-strawberry combinations, this one is definitely worth a try.

How Does The IVG SAVR Perform?

Here, you have a device with a 1.1ohm mesh coil built into the pod, a fixed power output and fixed airflow designed to deliver a mouth-to-lung vape, similar to what you would get from a cigarette.

The draw is a little looser than a tight cigarette-styled draw, but I still get a good mouth-to-lung vape here with a pleasing level of vapour produced.

In terms of battery life, the 650mAh battery pretty much gets me through the day, which is what I would expect from a device like this.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An IVG SAVR?

You get a 2ml pod and 4ml refill container, giving you a total of 6ml of e-liquid and the IVG SAVR range is marketed as offering up to 3000 puffs from each device.

As with any device, the amount of puffs that you will actually get depends on your own vaping habits. Longer and more frequent draws will affect how many puffs you get in total.

I tend to take quite long and deep draws on devices like this, lasting anywhere from 2-4 seconds, so I would always expect to get a lesser puff count than what the manufacturer claims!

I tested out the Double Apple IVG SAVR and made a tally of how many puffs I got. In total I got a puff count of 1,725 puffs. That was over almost three days in total before the e-liquid ran out!

Pros

• Large selection of different flavours
• Low-cost reusable pod vape
• Good alternative to disposable vapes
• Good choice for beginners
• Easy to use device

Cons

• Need to remove the pod to check the juice level
• Fixed airflow and wattage output
• Basic battery life indicator
• Only available in 20mg nicotine salt strength

Final Verdict

IVG have marketed these as being a low cost, reusable alternative to disposable vapes and I feel that they have hit the mark here with the IVG SAVR range.

Price-wise, these are pretty much in line with a disposable vape but these are a much better option!

You’ve got much more for your money here for starters, with these offering 6ml of e-liquid compared to the maximum 2ml that a disposable vape offers.

The SAVR range is a much more environmentally friendly option than a disposable, as you can reuse the device multiple times. Thanks to the built-in battery and the fact you can grab a refill kit once your original pod and refill container has run out, saving you from having to purchase a whole new device.

IVG have covered all the bases (and then some!) with the flavours too! With a huge range of thirty different flavours to choose from and you can swap these as you please thanks to the refill packs.

If you are still using disposables then I would highly recommend looking at switching over to the IVG SAVR range. You’ll get more bang for your buck here as well as a greener vaping option!

Design & Build Quality

Right off the bat I’m going to mention that sweet looking 360 degree colour screen, as this is a real stand-out feature on this device. It’s big, bold and beautiful. Some people will probably find it a bit gimmicky, but personally I love it, it is something a bit different!

This lights up whenever you take a puff or adjust the output with the slider. It seamlessly displays a mixture of different colours right around the front and sides of the device.

At the side is a large display which shows the remaining power level of the battery, the SKE logo and the remaining e-liquid level.

I’m a fan of this, as it allows you to check both the e-liquid level and the battery status at a quick glance. So you’ll always know when it is time to pop your device onto charge or whether you need to pick up a new device as the e-liquid is running low.

A built-in TPU mouthpiece sits at the top of the device, which has a soft touch feel to it and sits comfortably on my lips. At the base of the device is the USB-C charging port and the slider used to switch between the different functions.

Overall, this device feels really well made and solidly constructed, plus the rounded edges on it make it a comfortable device to hold in the hand. It doesn’t feel overly weighty either, but it does take up a fairly large amount of pocket space!

Quick Start Guide

An auto draw system is used on the SKE Crystal Vision 30000 – to take a puff, you just inhale on the mouthpiece.

Before using it you’ll need to remove all of the plastic coverings and the silicon plug from the mouthpiece. Plus you need to adjust the slider on the base as the child lock setting is on by default.

The slider adjusts both the airflow and the output mode simultaneously. When it is all the way over to one side and no airflow slots are showing, the device is in child lock or off mode. Sliding it to reveal two airflow slots puts the device in eco mode and three airflow slots is power mode.

Eco mode is designed to offer a mouth to lung vape, so if that is how you vape then you will want to go for this setting. Power mode delivers a stronger and airier vape, with a restricted lung airflow.

You can set the device to ‘always-on colourful mode’, where the display will be continually lit up, by moving the slider all the way over to one side then back again into eco mode. I guess this is a handy function if you are in the dark and need a light source or something like that!

To charge the device, simply connect a USB-C cable to the charging port and plug the cable into a suitable power output source. You don’t get a USB-C cable included with the device so you will need to use one you already own or purchase one separately.

Flavours

Arctic Ice

Given the name, I was hoping for a strong and robust chill to this and that is exactly what I got!

Alongside the really smooth and crisp menthol, I could taste citrus notes in this as well, which was a nice touch as I was expecting a strong flavoured menthol blast from this. That certainly was a surprise for me!

Power mode really does amplify the chill from this, providing me with a strong chilly hit that I could feel in my throat. Most enjoyable!

Blue Raspberry

I can take or leave Blue Raspberry flavours to be honest, they aren’t high up on my list of my favourite flavours!

This is a decent one and one I was happy to vape away on. But it doesn’t really offer anything different compared to other Blue Raspberry flavours.

The flavouring level is pretty spot on, it tastes strong without being over-flavoured, and it isn’t overly sweet either. There’s also a slight cooling sensation present at the end.

It is just a straightforward Blue Raspberry flavoured vape that did the job for me!

Blueberry Watermelon

Ok, so the blueberry is the more dominant flavour here, which I was quite pleased with.

The blueberry is quite a good representation of the actual fruit and there’s plenty of it in this blend. It seems to capture the thick berry taste of a blueberry, with a sugary sweet undertone to it.

The watermelon flavour was quite artificial tasting, like a candied sweet, however it didn’t have any artificial harshness to it. It felt like it had been toned down in favour of the blueberry flavouring.

Can’t say I was personally too keen on this one though due to the presence of watermelon flavouring!

Miami Mint

Wow, well the first thing I thought of when taking a puff on this was how much the mint flavouring tasted like toothpaste!

The mint flavour is very strong here, with a little chill in the background. This is rounded off with some citrus notes, to give it the ‘Miami Mint’ name!

Mint

No mint toothpaste flavouring with this one!

Rather, I get a strong, crisp blast of mint with a more pronounced cooling undertone to it. I would say that this one is more like a mint chewing gum to be honest and it is pretty refreshing too.

Pacific Ice

This one intrigued me, I had no flavour description from SKE to go on! When I took it out of the box it smelt strongly of mixed fruits and sherbet. Interesting!

I had to have a good few puffs on it to get my palate around this one. I was struggling a little to pick out the actual flavours, even when switching between eco and power modes. Unfortunately I could only deduce what tasted like lychee and dragonfruit.

There’s also a pretty robust menthol element to this one too, it definitely packs a good kick.

Still, this is one that keeps my tastebuds guessing even now, in a good way too as I enjoyed puffing away on it!

Peach Mango

I love peach, I love mango, what could go wrong here? Nothing as it would seem!

SKE have hit the nail on the head here with the blending. There’s authentic peach and mango flavours present in the mix, plus a good level of sweetener backing it up. Personally I can’t fault the flavouring levels. I could taste both flavours distinctly and they tasted like representations of the actual fruits themselves.

I really enjoyed this one!

Pineapple Peach Lemon

Well this one surprised me a little with the strength of the lemon flavouring. This was the most dominant flavour out of the three here and it is a sweet and zingy Sherbet Lemon flavour with a sharp edge to it.

The pineapple and peach flavourings are background notes, however I felt that they were more prominent when using the device in eco mode. They blend in well with the lemon flavouring, especially the peach flavour which adds a real juiciness to this blend.

All in all this is a three flavour combination that has been expertly blended by SKE, providing a sweet, zingy and juicy fruity flavour blend!

Pop Blast

I was definitely intrigued by the name of this one!

What I got from it was a strong and sweet mixed fruit flavour, with strawberry being the most prominent flavour note in the blend.

It was rounded off with a nice chilly note too and I was left with a tingle on my tongue as well.

Sour Apple

Oh man, this is one of the best apple flavoured disposables that I have tried! In fact it is one of the best apple flavoured vapes I’ve tried overall, not just in a disposable vape!

It does a great job of replicating the taste of a Sour Apple Chew sweet (candy). The apple flavouring is super crisp with a pleasing layer of sweetener. A nice and sharp sour edge really rounds this one off beautifully and almost leaves me sucking my cheeks together.

This is one that I felt really sung in eco mode rather than power mode, delivering more of the flavour notes from the apple with the lower power setting. It was still delicious in power mode too!

Strawberry Kiwi

SKE have done a good job here of blending the strawberry and kiwi flavourings so that I could pick up on both flavour notes. Which is something I can’t say about many of the other strawberry and kiwi blends I have tried in the past.

Firstly, I get the strawberry flavour note, which is a pleasing and sweet ripe strawberry flavour. Then the kiwi comes in to add a bit of a sour edge to the sweetness. There’s a bit of a chill too, nothing too strong but just a little touch that I could pick up on.

Strawberry Mango

Oh yes, two of my favourite fruit flavours combined into one here!

This is a predominantly strawberry flavoured blend. The strawberry is a very dominant flavour here and takes centre stage over the mango. I felt the mango was much more of a background note in this combo.

I would have liked more mango here, but all in all this was a blend I very much enjoyed.

Strawnana

Nope, not what you say to your Nan when you’ve got a cold beverage in your hand, but rather a blend of strawberry and banana flavourings.

When I took this out of the packet, there was a really overwhelming smell of synthetic banana flavouring, which I did find a little off-putting to begin with.

I’d say the banana flavouring leans more towards an authentic banana taste. I felt it tasted like a ripe banana with a nice creamy note as well, rather than a synthetic Banana Foam sweet (candy) type flavour.

Where this one lost points for me was with the strawberry, or rather the almost lack thereof of strawberry flavouring. I virtually couldn’t detect it, with just a mere hint of sweet strawberry in the background!

Watermelon Ice

Not great, but one of the better flavoured Watermelon Ice flavours that I’ve had from SKE.

As regular readers may know, I am certainly not a big fan of watermelon flavouring!

As expected, it’s a strong, synthetic candied watermelon flavouring with plenty of sweetener and an icy menthol kick to it. Pretty much just like many others on the market, there isn’t really anything here that stands apart from the rest!

I felt that power mode actually made this one taste better. The artificial watermelon flavour notes were considerably dulled and more of the icy menthol became prominent.

White Bear Gummies

I really didn’t enjoy this one I’m afraid.

This had a really odd, strong floral tasting note to it right throughout which didn’t vibe with me at all. It seemed to lack the texture and that thick, syrupy sweetness that I’ve come to expect from Gummy Bear sweets (candy) flavours I have tried in the past.

It’s absolutely loaded with sweetener too, far too much for me.

Certainly not like a Gummy Bear candy to me that is for sure!

How Does The SKE Crystal Vision 30000 Perform?

You’ve got two different ways to vape one of these.

• Eco mode providing a mouth to lung vape that aims to replicate the draw of a cigarette
• Power mode which provides an airier, cloudier and stronger restricted lung hit

Normally, I’ll go for the restricted lung option, but eco mode did surprise me here. This still provides a strong hit and plenty of flavour, with the added bonus of getting more puffs from the e-liquid and battery.

Power mode is a bit of a beast. I can definitely get a restricted lung hit off it and plenty of vapour too. The flavour was a little less intense than with eco mode, due to the increased airflow, but still pleasing nonetheless.

In terms of the nicotine hit, I really can’t fault this device. This packs 50mg strength nicotine salt e-liquid and it hits the spot for me in both eco and power mode. I certainly puff a lot less on it in power mode as too many hits on this knocks my socks off!

Battery life isn’t particularly great.

It does have a large built in 850mAh battery however this does fall short of lasting me all day, even with the 50mg nicotine strength! I think the colour display does sap the battery and I couldn’t figure out a way of turning this off.

How Many Puffs Do You Really Get From the Crystal Vision 30000?

SKE claim that you are looking at up to 15,000 puffs in power mode and up to 30,000 puffs when in eco mode. These figures are usually obtained in a laboratory setting by testing a device using less than one second puffs, or in the case of some manufacturers (I won’t name names), plucked out of thin air.

Now your puff count will vary depending on how long you take a puff for, how frequently you puff away on it and the selected power output.

To put the figures to the test, I ran a puff count using one device solely in eco mode and another solely in power mode.

In eco mode, I was taking 3-4 second puffs and hitting it a bit more frequently than the device in power mode, whereas in power mode I was taking shorter 2-3 second hits.

For the device used in eco mode, I got 18,324 puffs in total and the device in power mode gave me 8,559 in total.

All in, the average vaper is going to get over a week’s worth of vaping from one of these devices. Probably closer to a two week lifespan I would say.

Pros

Cons

• Fell someway short of the advertised puff count
• Lot of waste once you are finished with the device
• Battery life doesn’t quite last all day

Final Verdict

This is the first high nicotine big puff disposable vape that I have reviewed in 2025 and it has already become one of my favourites of all time.

Firstly, this disposable just looks amazing. I absolutely love the colourful display on it and I feel that this helps the SKE Crystal Vision 30000 really stand out from a lot of the other boring-looking devices on the market.

Secondly, there are some absolutely great flavours here, which comes as no surprise when SKE are behind these. I’ve always been impressed with the flavours that SKE put out. They really know how to blend flavours in order to provide a great tasting disposable vape experience.

Finally, I love the fact that there is the option to switch between mouth to lung and restricted lung vaping, which is something a lot of other disposable vapes don’t do. I’m primarily a restricted lung vaper so it was really nice to be able to add a little boost to my puffs and really get a solid nicotine hit with some dense clouds!

They also look to offer the same convenience as disposable vapes but be cost-effective too, offering up to 50% savings over using disposable vapes and 16x less waste.

What Can We Expect From The Refilla Kit?

You’ve got three parts that make up the Refilla Kit. They are the Refilla device, the Refilla Dock and a 10ml bottle of Bar Works e-liquid with a specially designed filling cap to use in the Refilla Dock.

The Refilla Dock is the ‘hub’ if you so wish. You pop your 10ml bottle of Bar Works e-liquid into it as well as your Refilla device. The dock automatically refills your Refilla device with e-liquid in less than two minutes and is capable of fully recharging the device in just 35 minutes.

For each full refill, the Refilla device will deliver around 540 puffs. It is capable of lasting up to 10,000 clean and reliable puffs before it needs to be disposed of and replaced.

Refilla have committed to making vaping safer for the user by using a precise temperature control system to heat up the e-liquid. They have named this ProFlow, which has been tested both in-house and in partnership with InterScientific, who are the UK’s top independent laboratory.

Independent analysis showed that the ProFlow system had no detectable metals or carbonyls in the vapour, with testing completed at 300 and 600 puff seconds! So, if you are after a cleaner vape, then Refilla will offer you this.

ProFlow is used within the Refilla device. It limits the vaping temperature to prevent the production of harmful compounds such as Formaldehyde and Acrolein and produces the cleanest vaping experience possible.

One Refilla device lasts for the same amount of time as 16 disposable vapes. So that is 16 times less batteries, plastic and silicone waste produced, making the Refilla device a more sustainable vaping choice.

Kit Contents

After having a look online at a few vendors that are stocking the Refilla kit already, you need to purchase the Refilla device, Refilla dock and the e-liquid separately. I’d love to see an offer where you can buy all three together for a slight discount!

In the box for the Refilla dock, you get the docking station and a user manual.

The Refilla device box contains the device and a user manual.

The e-liquid box contains a 10ml bottle fitted with a refilling cap and user manual.

You will need to purchase or use an existing USB-C cable that you already own in order to use the docking station.

Design & Build Quality

Let’s start off with the biggest part of the kit, the Refilla Dock! This is a docking station measuring 65mm x 62mm x 55mm. I’ve had this set up on my desk just next to my computer and it takes up absolutely no space at all.

On the back of it is a USB-C port, you’ll need to plug this in so that the dock will actually work. There’s a large cut out which the Refilla device sits in and a smaller one for the 10ml refill bottle. The front of the dock features LED lights to give you a visual indicator of the current status.

The Refilla device is a tiny little thing and this is what you will be vaping away on. It has quite a familiar shape to it. It measures 63mm x 39mm x 18mm, making it easy to slip into my pocket. It’s very lightweight too, only weighing 33.2g when fully filled up!

How To Use The Refilla Kit

There’s three parts to this and you’ll need all three parts to use the Refilla Kit.

Important: I cannot stress enough that the Refilla device needs to be filled before you use it for the first time, as it is shipped with no e-liquid inside!

• Firstly, you’ll want to grab the Refilla Dock and plug a USB cable into it. When power is being delivered to the dock the LED lights on the front will illuminate.
• Wait ten seconds after powering it on and for the Green light to come on before popping your Refilla device in, otherwise nothing will happen.
• To fill the Refilla device, invert the bottle of Bar Works e-liquid and pop it into the dock. Wait for the Green light, then pop your Refilla device into the dock. This takes around two minutes depending on how empty your device is and it smartly cuts off when full to prevent overfilling and leaking.
• Whilst in the dock, the Refilla device will be smartly charged up as well, so you have a fully refilled and fully charged device in minutes. From flat to full, the Refilla device will be charged in 35 minutes.

The bottles of Bar Works nicotine salt e-liquid have a special refilling cap attached to them, which only fits these bottles which are specially designed for use with the Refilla. However, you can unscrew the refilling cap, clean out the bottle once finished and refill it with your e-liquid of choice if you so wish.

There aren’t any buttons present on the Refilla device, this has an auto draw system so just take a puff on the device to fire it.

Indicator Lights

An LED light indicator on the top of the Refilla device gives you an indication of how the device is performing. It displays the following…

• Green light = good and ready. This will also turn Green when inserted into the dock and is fully refilled.
• Flashing green = 100 puffs left
• Flashing red and green = put in dock
• Red = last 500 puffs
• Flashing red = last 100 puffs left
• Solid red = end of life

The Refilla dock has a set of indicators which show the following…

• Bottom Blue Light + second White Light = dock outside of temperature limits. Wait until the dock has warmed up / cooled down. If necessary move it to a different location.
• Bottom Blue Light + fourth White Light = refill bottle is empty, replace. If there is still liquid in the bottle, remove and replace it.
• Bottom Blue Light + 3 White Lights = the device was inserted into the dock when the Red light was lit. Remove the device, wait for the Green light and re-insert the device into the dock.
• Green Light = Ready to charge.
• Bottom Light Red = Wait until this turns Green before inserting the device into the dock.
• Bottom Light turns Green = fully charged
• Charging progress = 1 White LED lit: 25% charged, 2 White LED’s: 50% charged, 3 White LED’s: 75% charged and 4 White LED’s: 100% charged.

E-Liquids

Bar Works Nicotine Salts are specially designed for use with the Refilla Kit. These come in 10ml bottles and use nicotine salt to provide fast acting nicotine craving satisfaction with a smooth throat hit. The e-liquid is blended to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio.

Nicotine strengths available are 10 and 20mg.

You can choose from Blue Razz Lemonade, Blue Sour Raspberry, Menthol Ice, Red Grape Ice, Spearmint Ice, Strawberry Banana, Sweet Strawberry and Watermelon Ice flavours at present.

How Does The Refilla Perform?

Well, this vapes…really damn nicely I must say!

One of the first things I picked up on here was just how smooth and clean-tasting the vape was. Refilla sent me the Spearmint Ice flavour to try out and this had a very minty, fresh and crisp taste to it that was quite unlike most other disposable spearmint flavours that I have tried.

I get a mouth to lung vape when having a puff on this and a surprisingly reasonable amount of vapour is produced. There is a bit of an audible crackling noise when I take a puff on it. The airflow is fixed to provide a mouth to lung vape, it cannot be adjusted.

There’s a 500mAh battery built into the Refilla device, which lasted me a good portion of the day and it was easy to just pop it into the dock whilst sat at my desk to top it up.

I have actually timed how long it takes to recharge the Refilla device whilst docked and not once did it ever creep over 35 minutes. So I never had to wait that long to have a puff on it again.

How Many Puffs Can I Expect To Get?

On the marketing blurb, you can expect to get around 540/550 puffs per 2ml fill (depending on whether you look in the user manual or on the website), based on one second puffs. I tend to take longer, 3-4 second puffs and I was getting a puff count in the region of 200-210 each time.

Each 10ml bottle of Bar Works e-liquid is designed to give up to 3000 puffs (again based on one second puffs). I didn’t tally exactly how many puffs I got in total from the bottle but if I took an average of 205 puffs for a 2ml fill and times that by five, I get 1,025 in total.

Considering as a refill bottle is retailing for under £3 online, that’s a lot of puffs for your money and certainly better value than purchasing a disposable vape.

Now, Refilla say that the Refilla device is capable of lasting for up to 10,000 puffs before it needs to be disposed of and replaced as you can’t replace the coil. I’ve vaped my whole 10ml bottle of Bar Works Spearmint Ice (and lost count of the puffs by this point) and it is still going strong at the time of writing!

Refilla subjected the device to independent laboratory testing which showed that it was the only vape capable of producing 10,000 puffs, with other leading vapes that it was being tested against failing at 500 puffs or less.

• Only able to use Bar Works e-liquids specifically designed for the Refilla
• Restricted to a mouth to lung airflow only
• Refilla device is a fully sealed system meaning you can’t replace the coil. So it still needs to be disposed of and replaced when it reaches the end of its life.

Final Verdict

I’m always excited to get my hands on a kit that is looking to shake up the status quo and deliver something innovative. Refilla have certainly got an innovative bit of kit here!

All of that innovation counts for nothing however if the product itself doesn’t perform! But thankfully the Refilla does, both in the functionality of the dock and the vape that you get from the Refilla device.

During my time spent with it, the docking system has worked flawlessly. It has done exactly what it has advertised to do. Each time I dock my Refilla device I have got a fully recharged and refilled vape ready to go.

I can applaud Refilla’s commitment to providing a cleaner and more sustainable solution to vaping. Plus backing that up with a kit that performs well and provides a satisfying, flavourful and clean vape.
