1: CBDfx CBD Wellness 2:1 [Editors Choice]

I’ve tried and tested a whole host of CBD oil drops and tinctures however the two from the CBDfx CBD range included a bottle infused with CBG.

As I said in the review, that was the first time I’d heard of CBG…so what exactly is it and how does it help the CBD user?

CBG is an acronym for Cannabigerol and is a minor chemical found in the cannabis plant.

It might be minor on a chemistry level, but in simple terms it adds a bit of ‘zing‘ to this particular CBD oil.

CBG acts on a different level to CBD and together they create the so called ‘entourage effect‘.

What that means is as a combination, the CBD and CBG trigger the brains receptors in different ways, so technically it’s a more powerful hit.

All the science aside, I found both the CBDfx CBD Tinctures had an extremely gentle taste and not in anyway oily – again ideal for new CBD users.

And again, you can choose your strength from 500mg – 1000mg – 2000mg right up to 4000mg.

2: Sunday Scaries CBD Oil Oral Drops [Large Selection]

I only recently reviewed the Sunday Scaries CBD Oil Oral Drops and was mightily impressed to say the least.

From the style of the website right through to the tasting, these deserve to be at the top of the best CBD oil drops as they definitely ticked all the right boxes for me and then some.

What really stood out was the addition of all important vitamins, and in this case Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12 – the perfect combination for these ‘trying times‘.

Add to that the 500mg CBD per 30ml bottle is suspended in equally healthy coconut oil, and you have a great combination.

I have to admit the CBD oral drops from Sunday Scaries were close to being a little oily, but only just and certainly tasted great.

3: SMOKO CBD Oil Drops [Good for Beginners]

SMOKO have been making some of the best beginner vape kits for many many years and now they have entered the CBD market with a small range of oil drops.

We are glad they did. With 3 strengths (500mg | 1000mg | 2000mg) and 3 flavours (Mint | Orange | Mixed Berry) they have made a nice little range that is great for first time CBD users.

The quality is on point as well. SMOKO use organically-grown, sustainably and responsibly farmed cannabis sativa L plants from independent farms in Central Oregon. They then use a unique cryogenic extraction process to create their cannabinoid rich broad spectrum CBD oil that is then mixed with the finest ingredients and Made in the UK.

OK, I nicked the above text from their website but I definitely couldn’t have said it any better myself!

Summing up, flavours are good while being subtle, not too oily and if you use the discount code below they are decently priced.

4: British Hemp Co CBD Oil [Best For Specific Use]

One of the main ‘issues‘ with CBD oil drops and tinctures can be a kind of ‘shotgun effect‘.

What I mean by that is most CBD oils are designed as ‘cover alls‘ meaning the body will react to the CBD dosage easing a wide range of symptoms, from pain, to well being and sleep issues.

Each of the British Hemp Co CBD Oil bottles are designed to target just one issue the user may have.

In this case the varieties are:

• Calm: to promote a sense of overall well-being and settle anxiety

Now I MUST stress here that you MUST NEVER try to vape any CBD oral drops or tinctures unless they are specifically designed for that purpose!

OK, safety speak out of the way, and the CBD Ultra Vape Oil range is indeed designed to take orally and to use in vape kits…but again ONLY in ceramic based ‘coils‘.

This particular range comes from the impressive For the Ageless team and I really did enjoy their Pharma Hemp CBD e-liquids.

There are currently 6 flavours in the dual use range: Lemon Haze – Blue Dream – Watermelon OG – OG Kush – Gelato and Pineapple Express and all are based on famous cannabis strains.

As to the flavours…

Taken orally I found them a little oily – only a tad – but when vaped they were bloody lovely.

Given they are dual purpose, these CBD oral drops are a decent price two and of course you’re getting the best of both worlds.

6: DragonFly CBD Oil Drops [Budget Broad Spectrum]

As we’ve established, Broad Spectrum CBD means the whole of the cannabis plant is used.

Given the very subtle flavours here, I was going to pop the DragonFly CBD Oil Drops into the best for newbies category…but as you’ll see I changed my mind

What I will say about this range is yes they did taste a little too oily, however the Orange flavour saved the day.

That acidity cut through the oil and left a very pleasant aftertaste in the mouth…a very tasty CBD oil oral drop.

And for those of us that adore those botanic flavours reminiscent of the cannabis plant, they were there as a lingering gentle back note.

There’s a choice of strengths too and if I’m honest for the amount of CBD you’re getting, this award winning British CBD company is very competitively priced.

Last but most definitely NOT least comes the Dinner Lady CBD Oral Drops and they tick all the right boxes.

As you might expect from a multi award winning e-liquid company, flavour and price is key here.

There are currently ten flavours to choose from – in my review I only had three to go on: Jelly Candy – Peppermint and Tropical.

There are x3 strengths, 250mg – 500mg and 1000mg and obviously the price is higher the stronger dose you choose.

However, when it comes to price, this range of CBD oral drops are without doubt the best value for money out there right now.

And as for the flavours?

As you might expect from Dinner Lady, the three I tried were bloody delicious – especially the Peppermint – wow!

If you’ve tried vaping CBD and didn’t get on with it I highly recommend this range – great price and great taste and ideal for newcomers to CBD oral drops.

I’m no chemist, though the ingredients are intriguing with the use of natural additives such as Beta-Pinene.

The pen vibrates when vaping and the 5ml pods are filled with 250mg CBD and have a lovely almost gentle taste – very nice.

They do come in very professional packing and as I mentioned in the review – they give off a very classy almost medical look – very smart.

What Is CBD and How To Vape It

CBD is short for Cannabidiol and as the name suggests is derived from the cannabis plant.

The active ingredient known as Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, is removed meaning the user can’t get ‘high‘ nor indeed overdose.

There are various strengths of CBD found within e-liquids ranging from 50mg to 3000mg – with a sliding scale of prices too.

The strength each individual requires is based on many factors including body weight and size – I’ll list my articles explaining all that in more detail in a moment. One thing to keep in mind. While this is a list of the best CBD Oil vape pen starter kits you have to be careful about CBD oil specifically for vaping. Now, it’s very important not to confuse CBD oil (that is made to drip under the tongue) with CBD oil you can vape.

The latter should really be referred to as CBD e-liquid but that isn’t the case sometimes. Just be sure you are buying the right product if you intend to vape.

So…CBD can’t get you high – so why use it?

The answer is there’s a whole raft of anecdotal evidence out there that CBD helps alleviate very many ill health physical symptoms.

CBDfx have taken the CBD world by storm since they launched in 2014.

Originally only available in the USA they have now expanded and recently launched their new website serving the UK/European market. That’s good news for us!

The CBDfx product range is solid and covers all aspect of CBD from vape juice to topicals, tinctures, oils, capsules and edibles.

Their CBD vape juice range is tight but it offers some great flavours that include fruit flavours and Terpene based flavours for those that like a more authentic taste.

Pricing is great when you consider the bottles are 30ml rather than the standard 10ml we see so often.

Not only that but each individual product page has the testing certificate there for you to view.

A high quality and trusted brand.

2. Harmony CBD (Best For Cannabis Strains)

One of the pioneers in all things CBD and especially when it comes to vaping – Harmony are undoubtedly a perfect port of call for anyone looking to try CBD.

I was able to review the company’s full range of flavoured CBD infused e-liquids and was knocked out [not literally lol] by the taste and the effect they had – certainly on my anxiety.

Fruit lovers will be happy as lemon – strawberry & mint and mango flavours are extremely tasty and as well as being effective.

Whilst the eau naturale’ types will love the OG Kush range which smells like a spring morning in the Hindu Kush valley – I should imagine – very earthy with a strong botanical smell and taste – perfect!

Since that review I was able to meet the team at Vaper Expo last May and was given a bottle of their CBD Pure Base.

Now this can’t be vaped on its own – it’s designed to add a couple of drops to your normal go to e-liquid.

I have used this for the past few months and find myself adding 3 drops to my e-liquid once a day.

This has kept my levels topped up and whilst of course my mental health issues – PTSD – depression – anxiety – complex trauma and what’s been called Hypervigilance – which might I add is both scary and exhausting – aren’t cured – the symptoms are dulled somewhat.

I say dulled – that’s not me walking around in a zombie state like I was on those heavy meds – instead I can cope slightly better – I am more alert and I’m not poisoning my body with those hard hitting drugs.

As I’ll keep saying I’m no doctor and I can’t say if CBD will work for you – however of all the products I’ve tried so far Harmony and in particular the CBD Pure Base are the best I’ve found.

3. VSAVI Organic CBD E-Liquid (Best Value CBD Vape Juice)

VSAVI CBD is 100% organic across the range and offers flavourless CBD to add to your favourite e-liquid, Full Spectrum and Flavoured. For those that prefer Terpenes in their CBD they offer both OG Kush and Lemon Haze.

They also offer strengths from 50mg all the way upto 1000mg! Lot’s to go at there.

Got to say their flavoured CBD range is excellent. Basic flavours but very well done. The prices are great as well with 50mg of CBD e-juice starting at £6.99.

I reviewed this brand during a particularly stressful time – moving home lol – and used it exclusively for the week or so prior – during and after the move.

As I said in my review. As a larger bloke I was pretty sure I really needed a much stronger dose of CBD – this being just 1% in 100mg – they do also do higher strengths so the option is there.

I received this with a really old style vape pen setup complete with the silicone wick style glassomizer but it still vaped well. You can of course use this in your own tank!

For me, 100mg is a relative low dose of CBD for your money but for those new to CBD e-liquid 100mg is a good place to start.

This is a great way to vape CBD and one that proves good value.

5. Provacan CBD E-Liquid (Best Authentic Cannabis Flavour Vape Oil)

Provacan have just the one CBD vape oil option but what they do they do really well. Provacan CBD vape oil comes in three options (at the time of writing), 30mg, 300mg and 600mg.

While we found it to be a little gentler on the cannabis side, the sweeter floral notes lifted the flavour making for a great vape. So definitely one for the CBD vapers looking for a cannabis flavour with a twist.

We have tested a large number of CBD e-liquids and this, for us, is one of the best for that flavour profile.

Provacan as a company is impressive too. They are owned by a company called Ciitech which are heavily involved with research in the CBD space. A quick update on these two ‘companies’.

The Growth of CBD Vaping Oils

I was extremely pleased to see just how well the CBD market is doing here in the UK.

I don’t have any fancy graphs or stats to back that up – instead I have my experience of the last 3 Vaper Expos.

I barely saw one stand in October 2016 but fast forward to May 2017 and one or two were dotted about – though in the main e-liquid companies adding a few token bottles to their range.

Harmony were there with a tiny stand and it was great to meet the team behind such a success story.

Fast forward to Vaper Expo this October and whilst it wasn’t a CBD invasion – there were a number of large stands and all doing brisk business from a knowledgeable crowd!

What Is CBD?

CBD stands for Cannabidiol and is what’s left of the hemp/cannabis plant when the Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC is removed.

This means you cannot get high on CBD – nor has there ever been any reports of serious side-effects from overdosing on the product indeed it is classed as a non-toxic substance.

History suggests that marijuana does have some medicinal properties but the side effect as many of us know means it’s not exactly the best option if you need to stay shall we say serious and alert.

To date the powers that be in the medical world refuse to officially recognise either marijuana or CBD as having a medicinal effect – however that is slowly but surely changing.

There’s vast amounts of so far strong anecdotal evidence that CBD in any form – but particularly vaping – can help alleviate very many symptoms.

I’m not a medical practitioner but read any of my CBD reviews and articles and you’ll see it’s use has helped me considerably – again that’s purely anecdotal and what works for one may not work for another.

Here’s the answers to the most asked questions about vaping and CBD.

How Much CBD Oil Should I Vape?

There are no hard and fast rules on this, however 3 factors come into play.

Body mass – strength of CBD used and reason for using CBD.

In other words the larger you are – like me lol – the more or stronger dose of CBD you’ll probably need in your system.

My tip is to begin with a smaller level of CBD such as 100mg and gradually move up until the effect you’re hoping for kicks in.

As to the amount of puffs you can take in a day – again that will vary on the delivery system – and again trial and error will help you set your limits.

And again – vaping on CBD cannot and will not get you high.

How Do You Vape CBD Oil?

There’s a few ways.

You can buy pre-filled cartridges that come as part of a kit at various strengths.

Buy CBD infused e-liquids from the likes of CBD Asylum – these can be flavoured or unflavoured and some can contain nicotine.

Or you can use a CBD vape shot – the same principle as nic shots for short fills.

What is CBD Vape Oil?

The use of the word ‘oil’ is actually wrong and NO ‘oil’ based CBD products should ever be used for vaping.

CBD oils are for ingestion as in dripping on your tongue or added to edibles.

For vaping CBD you need to make sure that is exactly what the product is designed for.

The very best CBD vape juices/e-liquids can be found above – so please be VERY careful on which CBD you’re vaping on.

How Much CBD Should I Vape?

This goes back to question 1 as in there’s no hard and fast rule.

I’ve vaped on CBD for close to 3 years and have a 1000mg CBD shot added to a 50mg short fill bottle of regular e-liquid.

I probably take 3 puffs of that per hour and that keeps my levels topped up.

Again regular use will tell your body how much you need.

What Wattage Should I Vape CBD E-Liquid?

Generally speaking most CBD vapers use a mouth to lung tank or pre-filled CBD cartridge and so wattage levels are low and at least under 30w.

However there are now sub ohm CBD e-liquids on the market designed for sub ohm vapers and therefore can be vaped higher wattage levels.

As always check the bottle or ask before vaping.

What Strength CBD Should I Vape?

CBD infused e-liquid comes in a range of strengths and in general usually in steps between 100mg right up to 2000mg in some cases and probably higher if you look hard enough.

It is recommended to start on a low dosage and gradually increase until the effect you are searching for is achieved.

However, as I said earlier it is down to your body mass.

An 8 stone woman would need a lower strength than say a 15 stone man.

How Often Should I Vape CBD?

Hate to keep repeating myself – but again there’s no hard and fast rule.

And again it’s dependent on the strength of the CBD e-liquid vs your body size.

I find I either keep a pre-filled cartridge near by to vape a few puffs 3 times an hour OR use my regular e-liquid topped up with a CBD shot.

But then I have enough in my system that I just need to top it up regularly.

How Long Does it Take a CBD Vape to Work?

Those in the know say vaping is the fastest way to get a dose of CBD into your system and dependent on the strength of the CBD e-liquid the effect can take as little as 5 minutes.

Edibles and tinctures can take between 6 to 8 hours.

In my early days I found by two days the symptoms I was hoping to mute had eased considerably.

But to keep the effects you need to keep your system topped up.

Are CBD vape pens legal in the UK?

In a word YES!

However make sure the product you’re buying is:

…derived from an industrial hemp strain that is EU-approved

ALWAYS make sure you’re buying CBD vapable e-liquids from a reputable source.

What Are the Effects of CBD Vape Oil?

The million dollar question!

Whilst some scientific studies are slowly coming around to the huge amount of anecdotal evidence that CBD in general helps with certain symptoms and ailments, the mainstream medical profession is still a tad skeptical.

One thing is for sure million of users around the world swear by it as a way to combat among very many other ailments and symptoms:

• Relief from pain – both mild and acute
• Helps with depression
• Eases anxiety
• Helps with Alzheimer’s disease
• Can ease Arthritis pain

What To Expect From The Harmony Flow CBD Vape Kit…

This is a beginners CBD vape kit, designed to be simple and not intimidating for people new to CBD or Vaping.

The slim cigalike body contains a 350mAh battery and charging is via a screw on adaptor with a USB connector at the other end.

At the base is an LED indicator which lights up when vaping and charging.

You can buy the full kit or just the battery or cartridges on their own. The cartridges are not refillable, they are pre-filled.

The 0.5ml Flow cartridge offers 75% CBD, CBG, countless other minor cannabinoids and a tasty OG Kush terpenes aroma. There is no PG, VG, or fillers, just 100% natural full-spectrum hemp.

Inside the cartridge is a 1.5ohm CCELL Ceramic heating element. Vaporesso have used the CCELL technology in some of their tanks.

Simply screw the cartridge onto the battery and away you go, a simple auto draw system means you only need to inhale on the mouthpiece to operate.

This only comes in a brushed Stainless Steel version.

Design and Build Quality

I received the battery kit plus 2 of the Cartridges.

The packaging is very minimal and pretty much plastic free. This is good for recycling and the only non-recyclable elements were the Silicone protector caps on the cartridges. Excellent work.

It fits well with the “Responsible Manufacturing” ethos of Harmony CBD who state…

“Our Harmony FLOW products come in packaging made from unbleached kraft paper without any plastic coatings, making it highly recyclable and minimizing waste by eliminating unnecessary plastic and aluminium. Our boxes are produced and printed in Europe by trusted manufacturers, and the product is packed in Germany, keeping supply chains short and reducing transport and emissions.”

This is a super simple kit so there are no bells and whistles, but what that does mean is that there is little that can go wrong!

I found the instructions to be pretty good but sadly there is no online version for those who like to zoom in a bit (I know I do!)

If you buy the cartridges on their own, the box needs to be dismantled to view the instructions.

Harmony Flow Battery

The shape of this is similar to a cigalike – early vape – in that it is a thin brushed finish Stainless Steel tube which is just slightly thicker than a cigarette.

The base has a Black cover with the Harmony logo etched in. When the LED illuminates this logo lights up – a clever touch.

Also the sides of the base are clear so the LED can be seen when vaping.

Harmony do recommend keeping this standing up when not in use, but as it is quite tall it doesn’t take much persuasion to fall over.

The Harmony logo and text are etched into the side in Black and that is all there is branding wise.

At the top of the battery is the 510 connection. This has 4 cut outs to allow air to flow to the base of the cartridge.

This does mean the cartridge does not sit flush on the battery and there is a very small gap.

Inside the connection the threads are well turned and feel secure, there is no wobbly here!

This connector is also where you screw the battery charging adaptor to.

Harmony Flow Cartridge

The design of this is similar to a standard 510 vape cartridge with a clear body and metal base.

The mouthpiece is a flat whistle style design and is thin and super comfortable to use.

You can view the remaining liquid level easily at a glance.

At the base of the cartridge is a metal exterior which has the required legal logo and “CCELL” etched in.

Underneath the cartridge the CCELL name and (what I assume is) the serial number are etched in.

Again the threads are perfect and the centre pin and threads look well isolated to help prevent short circuits.

Quick Start Guide

You will need to charge the battery and connect up the cartridge to get started. Do not fear I will tell you how below!

Basic Operation

• Power On/Off = There is no On/Off function
• Vaping = Just inhale on the mouthpiece to trigger the auto fire system.
• LED indicator = Lights up White when vaping.
• LED indicator when charging = The indicator stays on when charging. When full it will flash loads of times (it was too quick to count) – then go off.

Protections

• Low Battery: When the battery charge is below that required to power the device, the LED indicator will flash and the device will not work until charged.

How To Charge The Battery

The charging rate is not specified.

• Remove the cartridge and screw the charging adaptor onto the battery.
• Connect the other end of the charging adaptor into a suitable USB outlet.
• The LED indicator will stay on whilst charging.
• When fully charged the LED indicator will flash and turn off.

The charging time for me using a mains charging plug was around 50 minutes.

How To Replace The Cartridge

If using a new cartridge you will need to remove the Silicone protective covers from the base and mouthpiece.

• Unscrew the existing cartridge from the battery (if applicable).
• Screw a new cartridge on to the battery, do not over tighten.
• Inhale on the mouthpiece to start vaping!

How Does the Harmony Flow CBD Vape Kit Perform?

This is quite deceptive as the vapour is so cool and smooth you will think it is not working.

Believe me, don’t take long drags on this as it will suddenly hit you that your mouth and throat is full of vapour!

Also it is recommended to hold the vapour in for as long as possible (don’t make yourself ill obviously) but the longer the better for absorption.

Thankfully this does not have the “hot lawnmower” taste some CBD vapes can have, in fact the flavour is really mellow. It is not over powering and I am sure those nearby would not be able to pick up any cannabis type smells.

Ceramic coils can be hit and miss, I have had some terrible ones and some amazing ones. I am pleased to report that the CCELL coil that Harmony supply is excellent.

Really pleasant to use and extremely smooth – I am very impressed!

I am unable to talk about any possible beneficial health effects, plus every person is an individual so everyone’s experience will vary.

All I can say is I feel nicely relaxed and no impairment to brain or physical functions – bingo!

Leaks

Not a drop – but these are sealed cartridges so they are less likely to leak anyway.

Battery / Cartridge Life

This is not a device you would be constantly using so I will try to give you a rough idea of the puffs I got for each charge / cartridge.

I got 105 puffs to the first cartridge, the battery still did not need charging! The battery charge will outlast the e-liquid!

Eventually the battery did conk out, at a total of 200 puffs! I am almost at the end of the second cartridge!

“Puffs” is a difficult measurement to clarify, but to help matters I would take 2-3 second puffs.

I got 100 puffs from the second cartridge.

Pros

• Classy looking design
• Nice details such as the Harmony logo LED indicator
• Super simple to operate
• Ideal introduction to vaping and CBD
• Lovely flavour and super smooth vape
• Quick auto draw firing
• Easy viewing of remaining e-liquid.
• Incredible battery life
• Efficient use of e-liquid – around 100 puffs per cartridge

Cons

• Slightly dated design, but it is a universal design for this type of device.
• Not the cheapest on the market, but it is excellent quality from a reliable company.
• If you lie the device on its side, the e-liquid will take a while to drop back down towards the coil.

Final Review Verdict

I dreaded getting a flavour of burnt cut grass, but thankfully the beautiful blending gave enough earthy notes without me feeling like I had just barbecued my lawn.

Also the vapour is so smooth it is perfect, the only downside is that you might think it is not working and inhale too much! So do short puffs and you will be surprised how much vapour you actually exhale.

The battery life was surprising! It outlived one cartridge plus most of the second one!

The simplicity is perfect to introduce anyone to CBD and vaping, plus simplicity always means there is less to go wrong, so this should be pretty reliable.

It is a quality bit of kit, made by a reliable manufacturer. It is not the cheapest device of this type, but equally you will know what you are getting and that it comply with all applicable regulations.

Even the thoughtfulness of the packaging is incredible – the unbleached boxes with no plastic coating means the majority of it can be recycled!

SMOKO makes one of the very best vaping starter kits I’ve tried and reviewed – the Vape E e-cigarette – so I’m intrigued to see how its CBD oral drops fare.

There’s three CBD flavours to choose from, Orange – Mixed Berries and Mint – and all three come in 10ml bottle with either 500mg – 1000mg or 2000mg CBD strength.

SMOKO is using broad spectrum CBD, which means the whole of the cannabis plant is used.

CBD products have the active ingredient of the cannabis plant – THC – removed, meaning they are perfectly legal if your country’s laws permit.

SMOKO uses organically grown Cannabis Sativa L plants sourced from California USA, and says it has its own unique extraction process getting the very best CBD extract from the bush.

Right on with the review and let’s see if the SMOKO CBD oral drops are indeed a drop of the good stuff…

SMOKO Oral CBD Drops – Orange 500mg

Not a very strong smell of orange from the bottle…initially.

A few deeper longer sniffs and yeah I’m getting a faint whiff.

Flavour wise it’s the same – very gentle at first, but then it builds on the taste buds.

It’s a subtle taste to say the least which is no bad thing, and not as oily as some oral CBD drops I’ve tasted.

Ideal for your morning shot of CBD and if strong flavours put you off.

SMOKO Oral CBD Drops – Mixed Berry 1000mg

A much stronger aroma from this one, you can almost taste the berries.

I’m getting a lovely hint of blackberry or blackcurrant on the tongue and again it’s not too oily.

Just like the orange flavour, the taste seems to build in the mouth.

It’s not at all sweet and there’s a slight tang to it too.

I like this one a lot – very refreshing.

SMOKO Oral CBD Drops – Mint 2000mg

A delicious smell of peppermint once the top’s whipped off – good start!

Again it’s very light on the flavour for the first few seconds.

However, wait a while and once more the flavour builds.

This one feels slightly more oily – but only a tad.

It really leaves your mouth fresh with a lovely little tingle.

Final Review Verdict

Not a bad little oral CBD drops collection from SMOKO at all.

The flavours aren’t what I’d call spectacularly tasty, but they taste decent enough.

You can certainly pick out the individual flavours let’s put it that way.

It’s good to have a choice of CBD strengths too and as I’ve mentioned, the SMOKO CBD oral drops are certainly not over oily.

I do have to say that for a 10ml bottle they are a tad on the pricey side, but then again these are full spectrum CBD oral drops.

Like most things in life you pay for what you get so I guess they’re just about value for money given the quality ingredients.

Given the subtle flavourings, and lack of oiliness, I reckon these are ideal for newbies looking to see if CBD oral drops are for them.

That’s what I’ll be looking at in this CBD oil review and have to say straight away given these have multiple use options, they may have an edge.

One thing I MUST make clear is the UBCBD CBD oils CANNOT be vaped – do NOT use them in your vape tank or pen!

The multi use in this case means to be used orally as in drops, as a topical as in rubbing on your skin, or even in an oil burner for a CBD aromatherapy session.

First look and the branding screams class – the 15 and 30mg bottles come in lovely screw top tins, whilst the starter kit comes in a very smart presentation box with x6 5ml bottles.

It’s not surprising the website and products ooze class given the UBCBD CBD oils are a sister company of the impressive Kuga Heat vape and HNB brand.

I was very interested to see if the UBCBD CBD oils taste as good as the branding and see if they can gain a place on our best CBD Oil list.

What Can We Expect From the UBCBD CBD Oils?

It’s a little oily, however the flavour – like the smell – is very delicate indeed.

I also used this on an insect bite after a hot sunny hike and might be just me, but it definitely soothed the bump.

This is a huge dose of CBD and maybe best to use only once per day – 2 or 3 drops.

UBCBD also say avoid driving or using any kind of machinery as this may cause drowsiness…

UBCBD CBD Oils Relax – 750mg

I Say:

Anything that can improve liver health always gets my attention.

Again I’m getting little if any aroma from the bottle and it’s the same taste wise.

It’s not bitter, however, there’s the slightest tang of those cannabis terpenes I adore.

It’s maybe a tad oily, but cleaner than many CBD oils I’ve tried.

Given this one allegedly sorts your liver out – I shall be using this regularly…

UBCBD CBD Oils Immunity – 2000mg

UBCBD Say:

Using Avocado as carrier oil, infused with steam distilled Peppermint essential oil and CBD extract, we name the formulation as “IMMUNITY”.

I Say:

A lovely fresh minty smell from this one – very refreshing.

Taste wise and again it’s almost too oily, however that peppermint cuts through quite beautifully.

There’s a lovely almost powdery mintiness on the tongue and the flavour is just as refreshing as the aroma.

And trust me, the flavour stays in your mouth for an age!

I tried this one after a ‘bad Guinness’ and it settled my tummy quickly – NOT a medical opinion lol.

This is another high strength CBD oil – so use sparingly to begin with!

UBCBD CBD Oils Purify – 1000mg

UBCBD Say:

Very pleasant taste indeed and I reckon this one’s ideal first thing in the morning.

This one has another delicate aroma, but you definitely pick out the tangy grapefruit.

OOooo and yeah this one also hits the spot.

Just enough of that citrusy grapefruit to cut through the oil leaving a lovely fruity fresh taste in the mouth.

I’ve been taking this one after lunch as I tend to graze my way through the fridge…

Let’s just say a packet of 6 sausage rolls is still there from a couple of days ago…

UBCBD CBD Oils Young – 1500mg

UBCBD Say:

Well hello to the smell from this one!

This bottle is screaming fresh oranges and trust me the taste is exactly that.

Again the citrus notes cut through the oil leaving a very clean fruity taste.

This one is very moreish indeed and again ideal for your morning CBD dose.

Not sure if it’s made me look any younger – but a man can hope!

Best of the bunch for me.

Final Review Verdict

To say I’m impressed is an understatement.

A quite wondrous selection of CBD oils that taste as good as they sound.

The fact they can be used orally, topically on the skin or indeed for aromatherapy is another tick in the box.

Though saying that, it might me an expensive way to fill your oil burners…

As I’ve already stated, I can’t say if the claims made by UBCBD CBD oil are valid.

What I can say is from the presentation, the scientific facts on the ingredients and of course, the taste, these are very good CBD oils indeed.

I’d go as far to say they’re definitely among the best I’ve tasted and reviewed.

Fingers crossed they bring out some CBD e-liquids…

OK, I recently reviewed the JustCBD Oil Full Spectrum oral drops and struggled to pick up any prominent flavours, so I’m hoping for more from the JustCBD CBD vape kit cartridges.

The CBD vape cartridges are also Full Spectrum – another name for Broad Spectrum, which in a nutshell means the whole of the plant is used.

What Can We Expect From the JustCBD Vape Kit?

The JustCBD battery is your standard thin pen style affair and is very discreet and lightweight, and comes in a variety of colours.

As for the CBD cartridges, there’s 14 flavours to choose from and range from CBD strengths of 200mg to 2000mg.

The flavours cover fruits and desserts and ‘authentic’ famous cannabis strain flavours.

I received x3 direct from JustCBD – thank you – and these were the cannabis flavours: Sour Diesel – Pineapple Express and Northern lights and all three are 1000mg CBD.

I have to say I really like the ‘wooden’ drip tip on the JustCBD CBD cartridges – very smart and comfortable!

What Is CBD?

I’ve written at length about CBD or to give it it’s full name Cannabidiol.

This is what’s left when the active ingredient withing the cannabis plant – THC – is removed.

Regular users say the healing properties of the cannabis plant remains though users cannot get high – making it an ideal health supplement.

JustCBD Vape Kit – Battery – ‘B-Buzz’n Pen’

Looking at the JustCBD website it appears like all of the vape pen batteries are out of stock at the time of writing.

However, this has a 510 style connector to the cartridge, I have managed to attach the 3 CBD cartridges I’ve received to a couple of MTL devices! Looks a bit daft but works – just go steady on the wattage and check the voltage levels below.

Speaking of voltage it also looks like I may have received an older version of the Rose Gold JustCBD Battery as mine doesn’t have the voltage control.

When the newer version stocks are resupplied, you can choose x4 different heat settings: 2.0 v – 2.5 v – 3.5 v – 4.0 v.

The higher the voltage, the warmer the vape and obviously less battery time.

Not much else to say about the JustCBD Battery – it’s thin, light, sleek and looks pretty in pink and smart in the other colours.

BTW: mine came in a tin with no instructions. Not sure if the newer versions come with a manual, but it’s all pretty straight forward: 5 clicks for on and off.

JustCBD Vape Kit – CBD Cartridges – Sour Diesel 1000mg

JustCBD Says:

I Say:

It’s one of the most famous and some say most potent cannabis strains around and trust me the flavour off the JustCBD vape kit cartridge is amazing.

Dark and rich with those earthy terpenes really to the fore, the smell whisked me back to my younger days.

I’ve tried a few Sour Diesel based CBD e-liquids, however this one is by far the most authentic – nice!

JustCBD CBD Vape Kit Cartridges – Pineapple Express 1000mg

JustCBD Says:

A lot fresher than the previous CBD cartridge, with once again the woody botanics kicking in on the very first puff.

It’s the exhale where the magic happens with those fruity citrusy notes lingering creating a very moreish vape.

Love it!

JustCBD CBD Vape Kit Cartridges – Northern Lights 1000mg

JustCBD Says:

The exhale adds the tiniest hint of spice making it a very tasty vape indeed.

I’ve been using this one before bed or when my stress levels rise – and will continue to do so

Of the three this is one I’d recommend to brand new CBD vapers looking for a gentle yet authentic taste.

Final Review Verdict

Given I only received the cannabis strain flavours I obviously can’t comment on the other flavours.

However if they are as good as the trio I’ve tried, then you’re in for a treat.

The JustCBD vape kit and cartridges are among the best tasting authentic strains I’ve tried and I’ve vaped on very many.

A very smooth vape indeed with flavours that ping off the palate – not overly strong either and may suit newbies looking to try the ‘real taste’ of the cannabis plant.

And I have to say, the packaging is stunning and a decent price too given today’s CBD market.

JustCBD say vaping on a cartridge for 15 minutes per day should give you 10 months worth of vaping – value!

As always I can’t say if they help me – however two are now in my rucksack and one by the side of my bed – and that says it all

I Say:

Barely any aroma coming from the bottle and the CBD oil looks a slightly duller colour to many I’ve tried.

Taste wise and again nothing discernible though what I am getting is a lot of oiliness.

To be brutal it is almost claggy – or at least very thick indeed, that even left a coating on my lips.

Yes – I did give it a bloody shake too.

I always taste test CBD straight under the tongue.

Given the oiliness of the JUSTCBD Oil I have dropped a bit in my morning coffee.

Trust me it took a lot of stirring to get it ‘dissolved‘ for want of a better word.

The lack of taste means this would be a great choice for newcomers to CBD Oil drops, but that oiliness was a little too much for me.

JustCBD Oil Full Spectrum – Final Review Verdict

I’ve been fortunate enough to sample very many bottles of oral CBD oils and tinctures and this one is by far the oiliest.

Not a bad thing I guess, and certainly not enough to put me off from using the JustCBD Oil Full Spectrum until the bottle runs out.

The lack of a smell or come to that any hint of flavour means it’s been hard to actually pin this one down.

I’ve used it for a little over a week – replacing my usual stronger blends, and have not noticed any dip in mood or anything else.

It is very competitively priced with the 50mg bottle under £10 – it’s obviously more expensive the stronger the strength.

JustCBD has a dedicated UK/EU site as well as one in America, so it truly is a global concern.

It wouldn’t be my first choice for flavour, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, especially for brand new CBD users.

I’m getting that same aroma from the Sunday Scaries CBD oil as I did from the Gummies – marzipan…

Very pleasant indeed but no hint aroma wise of that fruit punch they speak of.

Unlike the Sunday Scaries CBD Gummies, that marzipan come almond taste doesn’t disappear in the mouth either.

Ideally you drop the CBD oil under your tongue and leave for a good 2 minutes.

During that time I didn’t get a hint of fruit at all.

Sunday Scaries also suggests adding a few drops to your drinks – in particular water or smoothies, and I can see that working well.

The drops are a little close to being too oily, but not as oily as some I’ve tried.

Not a bad taste but even the slightest hint of citrus would lift the overall flavour.

Final Review Verdict

There’s only one Sunday Scaries CBD oil in the shop and if you like marzipan or almonds this one’s ideal.

It is a little greasy – but as I said, nowhere near as thick or cloying as some I’ve used.

The addition of x2 very important vitamins means your are in effect getting a triple dose of goodness.

Even the coconut oil in which the CBD is suspended, is apparently good for the body.

In particular it is believed to help grow so called ‘good cholesterol‘ and to burn body fat.

So yeah, not a bad introduction to CBD and with added benefits for your body – not a bad price either.
