A premium mesh coil and a sealed e-liquid flow system combine to deliver long-lasting, stable performance in a leak-free package, with each puff tasting as fresh as the very first one.

Assembly has been made effortless, to get you vaping in no time at all, you snap the prefilled 2ml pod and 10ml tank together and you are ready to go. No fuss and importantly, no mess either!

Plus, once your original pod and refill container has been finished, dispose of it but keep the actual device itself, as refill kits are available to purchase too, with 16 different SKE flavours to pick from.

You can keep track of power in real time with the battery screen, which also makes every puff come alive with a dynamic light effect to create a richer and more immersive vaping experience.

Design & Build Quality

SKE’s iconic diamond cut design returns here, popularised by the original Crystal Bar, bringing an instant sense of familiarity- even though the SKE Bar 15K is obviously much larger than the original Crystal Bar, measuring in at 27.7mm x 27.7mm x 115mm.

The boxy, rectangular shape makes for a nice feel in hand, and the crystal styled design remains as classy as ever. Plus, it is functional here too, as you have full view of the tank allowing you to see exactly how much e-liquid is inside.

You can retain the device once the original pod and refill container is finished, as it features an 850mAh battery that is rechargeable via a Type-C charging port.

The front of the device has a basic screen on it, which tells you exactly how much battery life remains as a percentage, it also lights up whenever you take a puff on the SKE Bar 15K.

Quick Start Guide

Very straightforward and simple here!

Firstly, remove the pod and refill container from the packaging, ensuring that you also remove all stickers and silicon bungs too.

Then, just click the pod and refill container together and insert it into the device.

An auto-draw system is used with the SKE Bar 15K so just take a pull on the mouthpiece to get the device to fire.

Charging

The SKE Bar 15K charges via the USB-C charging port that is located at the base of the device, and the 850mAh battery can be recharged multiple times meaning that it can be reused over and over again if you purchase refill kits for it.

Saves you having to buy a whole new kit each time!

To charge the SKE Bar 15K, just plug in a USB-C charging cable and lay the device on its side. The battery screen will show the charging percentage in real time, and will turn off once fully charged.

Flavours

16 different flavours are available for the SKE Bar 15K range, featuring SKE’s very own Original E-liquid!

SKE sent me 12 of the SKE Bar 15K range, and here are my thoughts on them…

Fresh Menthol Mojito

Now previous readers of my SKE reviews might already be aware that this is one of my favourite SKE flavours, in fact I would say it is my most favourite one of all!

So, getting to review it again is always a pleasure…

One way for me to sum it up is Mojito magic in a prefilled pod system!

The flavour profile is sensational, opening with a syrupy, sweet embrace of lime and perfectly capturing the sugary essence of a mojito.

That initial rush gracefully transitions into a crisp, authentic hint of mint, culminating in a refreshingly icy finish. SKE truly deserves praise as their flavour blending here is nothing short of masterful.

I couldn’t put it down as for me it is pure liquid enjoyment!

Pink Lemonade

I can take or leave pink lemonade blends, I have vaped that many of them over time, but when the ‘pink’ element consists of watermelon flavouring instead of raspberry, then it definitely goes in the leave pile!

That is down to my own tastes though, as I am not a fan of watermelon flavouring at all, it isn’t always a reflection on the quality of the blending.

Unfortunately (for me anyway), this is one of those pink lemonade blends that features watermelon.

And it is quite noticeable at the start of the puff too, there’s definitely a strong flavoured watermelon present before this gives way to a lighter, slightly tangy lemonade.

Melon Berry

Now, there’s a melon flavouring here that is more up my street!

A delightful and authentic honeydew melon flavouring starts proceedings off here, and I’m impressed with how well done this melon flavouring is.

It is backed up with notes of raspberry, strawberry and a subtle note of blackberry too- all of which feel right at home and compliment the luscious honeydew melon flavouring almost perfectly.

There is quite a noticeable amount of sweetener present here, this was definitely a sweeter blend than I initially expected!

Lemon & Lime

The experience begins with a jolt of pure, frozen citrus, immediately calling to mind a classic lemon-lime ice lolly.

The lemon note is front and centre, possessing a brilliant, almost aggressive clarity.

Unfortunately, this vividness is paired with an exaggerated sweetness that crosses the line into syrupy territory, giving the lemon an artificial, sherbet-like quality.

Though the blend provides a satisfying, cool finish, the intended lime flavour note is significantly muffled. I found the lime virtually absent, completely eclipsed by the strength of the leading lemon throughout the entire vape.

Fizzy Cherry

This blend unveils a spectacularly vibrant candied cherry, which manages a delicate tightrope walk of flavour—achieving a beautiful balance between rich sweetness and necessary tartness, thus avoiding the pitfall of sugary overkill.

What truly sets it apart is the remarkable effervescence, a playful tickle right on the tongue tip that perfectly mimics the fizz of a chilled sparkling beverage.

The cherry component itself is masterfully executed and benefits from being enriched by a subtle, luscious syrupy base.

Blueberry Raspberries

What we have here is a delicately paired combination of blueberry and raspberry, formulated to let the distinct taste of each fruit come through clearly.

There’s a noticeable lift from an added touch of sweetener, which contributes to the overall profile. The flavour journey delivers a great mix of both sweet and sour notes, culminating in a truly delicious, abundant berry experience.

Fruit Medley

As someone who typically steers clear of sweeter e-liquids, I was genuinely surprised—I found myself completely won over by this SKE Bar 15K flavour!

Deconstructing the specific components is a challenge, though, as the flavour is a full-throttle, simultaneous hit that lands all at once. My best guess is a vibrant, undifferentiated tropical medley, with a distinct and necessary citrus note cutting through the mix.

It’s definitely one if you have a sweet tooth, as I can pick up on a lot of sweetener here, but you do get some sour notes cutting through it.

Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava

This is a bold, high-intensity flavour blend built around a sweet, supercharged passionfruit that sets the tone instantly!

It’s aggressively exotic and undeniably sugary, making it feel less like natural fruit and more like a vibrant, candied blend.

Enhancing this primary note is a juicy, fragrant burst of guava, which adds body and a welcome tropical complexity to the sweetness. Unfortunately, this assertive duo leaves little room for the third player as the kiwi becomes a little too subtle, verdant undertone.

While the sourness from the kiwi attempts to provide a necessary counterbalance on the exhale, it’s quickly eclipsed and swallowed whole by the powerful, wave-like intensity of the passionfruit and guava.

Watermelon Ice

Unfortunately for me, this Watermelon Ice blend launches with an unapologetic blast of manufactured watermelon on the inhale.

As already mentioned, I’m no fan of this fruit profile, and I found the experience rapidly spiralling into a territory of excessive sweetness and blatant artificiality, with the taste akin to a sugared-up, diluted watermelon sweet.

Furthermore, the menthol addition is a mere whisper—too delayed and negligible to provide any actual cut-through.

This blend is the very embodiment of the flavour category’s current cliché: uninspired, generic ‘watermelon ice,’ adding nothing new to a saturated market beyond its overbearing sweet nature and routine icy finish.

Blueberry Sour Raspberry

Dangerously compelling is the only way to describe this blend- its highly vapable nature meant I got through it at a record rate!

Which was quite handy for measuring the puff count from one of these kits…more on that to come!

What elevates this profile is the unapologetic sour component—it’s a leading force, not a footnote, offering a rare and delightful intensity that sets it apart from typical blueberry sour raspberry contenders.

The journey itself is a masterpiece of layering: the sweet, saturated taste of blueberry hits first, transitions into a powerful, exhilarating tartness, and then settles into the luscious sweetness of ripe raspberry. It appears straightforward, but the balance and execution here is impeccable!

Cola Ice

I’m currently on a bit of a Cola Ice vape kick, and this blend is a solid, highly enjoyable entry into the category.

The flavour is a pretty precise interpretation of cola cube sweets, leaning distinctly toward a hard candy or confectionary style rather than a poured drink.

Crucially, the sweetness is well-tempered, and it finishes with a clean, refreshing blast of koolada. This is the kind of effortlessly satisfying flavour I can happily keep in rotation all day long without any risk of vapers tongue!

Strawberry Burst

The flavour here is potent and highly concentrated, but let’s be clear: this profile leans decisively into the sweet, nostalgic world of strawberry candy rather than offering a fresh, organic fruit experience.

Impressively, despite its boldness, it never tips into cloying territory, maintaining an excellent and pleasing equilibrium.

That said, if your preference is for the style of strawberry found in a disposable vape, this is one of the finest renditions available. SKE know how to make a great candied strawberry blend!

How Does The SKE Bar 15K Perform?

So, there’s a mesh coil present here, though I’m not sure on the resistance as I couldn’t see it in the marketing blurb, I’m happy for it to be posted in the comments if someone knows what it is!

These are set up to provide a mouth to lung vape and if you are moving over from disposables, or cigarettes, then you will be right at home here.

Although, this does feel a touch more powerful than some of the more recent SKE offerings that I have reviewed!

Each one has 20mg nicotine salt in the blend, designed to deliver fast acting nicotine craving satisfaction without any harsh throat hit.

The vape is consistent throughout, from start to finish, and there’s a subtle amount of vapour produced with each puff.

Battery Life

Within each SKE Bar 15K is an 850mAh battery, which is aimed at delivering all day battery life.

It does the job there even for a heavy vaper such as myself, I could take one of these out and about on a full charge and not have to worry about the battery running out and me being left without precious nicotine!

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An SKE Bar 15K?

These are touted as offering up to 15,000 puffs from each 2ml pod and 10ml refill container, though figures such as this are usually obtained in laboratory settings using less than one second puffs, which may not be reflective of average vaping styles.

Your puff count will depend on your own vaping habits, so if you take frequent long pulls then you will get less puffs as a result as more e-liquid is drawn to the cotton in the coil.

I counted each puff that I got from the Blueberry Raspberries one (as I vaped through that the quickest!), and the end result was that I got 7,955 long and frequent puffs!

Pros

Final Verdict

SKE have been positioning themselves as one of the market leaders when it comes to prefilled pod systems and the SKE Bar 15K serves to reinforce an already very strong line up!

One of the key strengths here is the amount of vaping that you can get from each kit, giving you some serious value for money.

Not only that, there’s real quality when it comes to the flavours too, as SKE use their own in-house Crystal Original range for the blends, which has been reviewed to great acclaim by many vaping outlets including ourselves!

So, if you are after a no-fuss, reusable prefilled pod kit that has been developed by one of the serious players in the vaping game, then the SKE Bar 15K is an excellent option to consider!

Design & Build Quality

I have always been a fan of the sleekly designed Endura range and the Innokin Plexus Pro continues on in the same vein, this is a lovely, sleek tube shaped device that has been machined beautifully from stainless steel!

There are six different finishes to pick from, with Shadow Gray, Iridescent Lavender, Navy Blue, Midnight Black, Pearlescent Cream and the fantastically named Pearlescent Rosaline available!

The tube shape makes it a joy to hold, offering instant familiarity and an ergonomic design too. Despite being a little on the tall side, the device itself is actually quite slim and easy to slip into my pocket.

On the front of the device is the 0.87″ smart colour display, which does exactly what I need it to do, displaying the battery percentage, wattage output, coil resistance and puff count.

Off to the side of the screen is the power button, featuring a short throw and pleasing click to it, and opposite to this is the Type-C charging port. The airflow control is located at the rear.

Two Innokin Plexus Cartridges are bundled in with the Plexus Pro kit, you get the 0.6ohm Dual Mesh and 0.8ohm Mesh options which cater to MTL and RDL vapers.

These have a tank style design and complete 360 degree visibility, giving you a full view of the e-liquid in the cartridge. Plexus Cartridges also have a TPD-friendly 2ml capacity.

Of course, they also connect magnetically to the Innokin Plexus Pro device!

Quick Start Guide

How to Fill the Pod

Innokin have designed a clever sliding top fill mechanism for the Plexus Cartridges, you locate the triangle symbol on top of the cartridge and push with your thumb to slide it open and reveal the filling port.

Pop the nozzle of your e-liquid bottle into the generously-sized filling port, and fill the tank up whilst taking care not to go too crazy otherwise it will leak straight back out of the top!

If you are filling a fresh cartridge up for the first time then it is advisable to let e-liquid sit in the tank for five minutes to allow it to soak into the cotton in the coil properly, reducing the chance of dry hits happening and prolonging the lifespan of your Plexus Cartridge.

Operation

Powering the Innokin Plexus Pro device on and off is done by pressing the fire button five times in quick succession.

To adjust the wattage, click the power button three times quickly and the wattage on screen should start to blink, then simply press the power button to cycle through the wattage output in 1W increments.

The wattage range of the device is 6-25W, however the 0.6ohm Dual Mesh Plexus Cartridge is the only pod that can take advantage of the full range.

The maximum output of the 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm versions are limited to 16W and 13W respectively.

Locking the device is done by clicking the power button four times quickly, which locks the power button. You can still vape on the device however, as auto draw functionality is present, so you can draw on the mouthpiece to vape.

The locking function also kicks in after 10 minutes of inactivity, to reduce the risk of accidental firing, and you just click the power button five times to unlock it.

Charging

A Type-C charging port is located on the side of the Plexus Pro, so you just need to use a compatible Type-C charging cable and suitable power output to charge the device.

Whilst charging, the battery status is displayed as a percentage on screen. You can take a puff on it whilst it charges, however this will increase the charging time.

Innokin Plexus Go

Alongside the Plexus Pro, Innokin are also launching the Plexus Go!

This is a slightly smaller Plexus device, that offers a little more convenience as it is solely a plug and play option.

No adjustable wattage is present here, the power output is determined by the resistance of the coil in your Plexus Cartridge, and it comes with a 0.8ohm Mesh Plexus Cartridge only.

The Plexus Pro comes with both the 0.6ohm Dual Mesh and 0.8ohm Mesh versions.

Power output is limited to 20W, and it has a 1,000mAh built in battery. There’s no screen on the body of the device here either, with an LED battery indicator around the fire button instead.

If you are looking for something smaller and a bit simpler, then the Plexus Go is a great option!

How Does The Innokin Plexus Pro Perform?

Whereas many previous Innokin Endura devices tended to cater almost exclusively to MTL vapers, the Innokin Plexus Pro can support both MTL and RDL vaping.

This is down to the adjustable airflow options, as well as the 6-25W power output range available.

You can push the power button to vape or take a puff on the mouthpiece thanks to the auto draw system. The Plexus Pro fires instantaneously, and the vape is consistent and smooth throughout.

It’s a great device to use either freebase nicotine or nicotine salt e-liquids in, I have had no problems with either!

0.6ohm Plexus Cartridge

With the 0.6ohm Plexus Cartridge, you are able to take full advantage of the 6-25W output range of the Plexus Pro.

This is also the only cartridge that features a dual mesh coil set up, and I could really taste the difference here as a result.

Flavour delivery felt very concentrated and intense, with a slight warmth to it as well at 23-25W.

I found that this cartridge is the one you need if you prefer an RDL hit!

0.8ohm Plexus Cartridge

With the 0.8ohm Plexus Cartridge, power output is limited to a maximum of 16W and a single mesh coil is found here.

During my testing, I found that this suited a MTL vape really well, especially when using 10mg Nicotine Salt e-liquids.

It does work best at 14-16W, as I found that it struggled a bit with lower power resulting in gurgling and a weak vape.

1.2ohm Plexus Cartridge

13W is the limit with the 1.2ohm cartridge and this is most definitely a MTL cartridge!

Therefore, this one is more for a relaxed and tight MTL vape, with 20mg nicotine salt e-liquids.

Pod Lifespan

Thumbs up for the Plexus Cartridges here!

I’ve had the Plexus Pro for over a week now, and have only just had to change my initial 0.6ohm cartridge.

That is with some pretty heavy vaping too, so these cartridges have stood up well to heavy use and will provide value for money with their lifespan.

Airflow

A sliding airflow control is located on the rear of the Plexus Pro, allowing smooth and easy airflow adjustment.

It’s not the largest airflow slot, so don’t expect massive clouds from this device, but the design of it means that it caters to both MTL and RDL vaping. You do really need to have the airflow to be fully open for an RDL hit though.

Battery Life

There is a 1350mAh battery built into the Plexus Pro, and Innokin really do know how to get the best out of their batteries!

I got all day battery life from the Plexus Pro, even vaping at 23W with the 0.6ohm Plexus Cartridge, it lasted even longer than a day when using the 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm cartridges!

Final Verdict

Innokin have done a superb job revitalising their tube mod range with the Plexus Pro!

It is a device that can cater to new vapers as well as more experienced ones alike, thanks to the adjustable wattage, airflow and range of different Plexus cartridges.

The Plexus Pro is definitely a device that I would recommend if you are moving from disposables to prefilled pod systems, this is an easy to use kit that gives you the opportunity to try out some different vaping styles and with Innokin’s reputation for solidly built kits, it is one that will last you for a fair while too!

You’ll save money too by using the Plexus Cartridges, as they offer great lifespan, which means you won’t have to replace your cartridges as often.

All in all, this is a very impressive tube mod from Innokin that has a lot of upsides and very little downsides!

Design & Build Quality

With the Palette, Reign Bar have designed a modular device that consists of two devices that can work independently of one another, or they can be ‘snapped’ together magnetically to create one unit.

This also opens up ‘flavour creation’ options, as you can combine two different flavours from Reign Bar Palette units! These snap together satisfyingly, and are held together with strong magnets.

Plus, by combining two different flavoured Reign Bar units, you can create some interesting colour combinations and change the whole look of the device!

Also, intriguingly, you can vape on just one half of a Reign Bar Palette unit as well, as these can operate independently of one another.

They have their own drip tips, LED screens, airflow control and even their own Type-C charging ports.

When you have a ‘whole’ Reign Bar Palette device, it measures in at 99mm x 27mm x 53.6mm, fitting nicely in the palm of my hand and feeling comfortable thanks to the smooth, rounded edges.

Quick Start Guide

With the Reign Bar Palette, you have the ability to vape right out of the box thanks to the auto draw system. Just take a puff on the device to vape!

As mentioned, each half of the device can work independently of one another. You can split the device into two halves, and vape each one if you so wish, as well as mixing flavours around.

Each half has its own LED screen, displaying the battery and e-liquid level, as well as the intensity. You can adjust the intensity of the vape by pressing the button, and there are three different levels to cycle through.

On the base, there is a sliding switch to adjust the airflow as well as Type-C charging ports.

Charging

On first inspection, this might be a little confusing as two Type-C charging ports are present on the base.

However, you do only need to use one charging port to charge up your Reign Bar Palette, and it charges at the same rate regardless of whether you are charging one half independently or both snapped together.

It isn’t the quickest at charging though, with a full charge taking just over an hour.

Flavours

In total, there are 17 different flavours to pick from through 14 kits, and yes you can mix and match all of these around. It will be interesting to see what flavour combinations people can come up with!

You have Watermelon Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Mexico Mango, Cherry Lemon, OMG B-Pop, Fcuking Fab, Miami Mint, Raspberry Lemonade, Strawberry Banana, Cool Mint and Virginia Tobacco.

There are also three ‘special flavour combinations’ in Caramel Cream x Ice Coffee, Root Beer x Vanilla Ice Cream and Cheese Cake x Strawberry.

I must say that the special flavour combinations look right up my street!

Reign Bar sent me ten of the flavours and here are my thoughts…

Cool Mint

Immediately I notice the crisp and robust mint leaf flavouring, which is strong and robust regardless of the intensity level selected. This is followed up with a satisfying cooling note which pairs perfectly with the mint.

By cranking up the intensity level to the max, I get a strong menthol hit which suits my palate perfectly!

Also, Cool Mint can be combined with pretty much any of the other flavours in the range below for some great tasting results, adding a lovely icy hit to the sweet flavours.

Mexico Mango

With Mexico Mango, Reign Bar produce a flavour blend that gets very close to the actual taste of an actual ripe mango flavour!

There’s a bit of cooling present too, which can be intensified by combining this one with the Cool Mint, and a lot of sweetener.

They’ve done an excellent job with the blending here and produced an authentic tasting mango vape.

Fcuking Fab

I mentioned in my review of the Reign Bar Mana 50K range that this was a flavour that had my tastebuds totally confused, and the same applies with the Palette version!

For me, it’s predominantly a flavour profile that is absolutely saturated in sweetener, with tropical notes, some grape and even what tastes like an energy drink too! There’s a hell of a lot going on here.

Though, I did find that combining it with the Blue Razz Ice actually produced some strangely pleasant results!

Blue Razz Ice

This is one of my favourite tasting Blue Razz Ice blends that I have tried out!

On the inhale, I pick up on a thick and sticky blueberry flavouring that has a level of sweetener that almost coats my teeth. Underpinning this is raspberry, adding some sour notes, before a breezy cooling sensation sweeps in.

Blue Razz Ice goes very well with the Raspberry Lemonade too, creating a real fruity and fizzy sensation!

Raspberry Lemonade

Now this is a little belter of a blend, with authentic tasting sour raspberry blending in with a zingy and tangy lemonade flavouring, and a cheeky bit of fizz at the end to finish off.

A subtle cooling notes gives this a ‘fresh out the fridge’ raspberry lemonade vibe, and increasing the intensity level gives this a very sweet and chilly feel.

As mentioned, this can be combined with Blue Razz Ice for some great results, or if you really want to send your tastebuds haywire then blend it with Fcuking Fab or OMG B POP!

Strawberry Banana

The most dominant flavour here is without a doubt the strawberry, which is a candied type of strawberry flavouring. The banana sits in the background and lends a creamy feel to the vape.

I didn’t get great results when combining this with other flavours in the range if I am honest, this one is best left alone!

Watermelon Ice

This is your typical Watermelon Ice flavour, so you get an artificial tasting candied watermelon that is reminiscent of a watermelon chew type of candy, and a fairly robust cooling sensation to finish it off.

I found that it does go well with the Miami Mint and Cherry Lemon!

Miami Mint

I’ve described this in the Reign Bar Mana 50K review as having a ‘strongly flavoured toothpaste’ vibe and I still can’t get that out of my mind!

So yes, strongly flavoured toothpaste mixed with some elements of citrus! Though it is weirdly moreish, and I kept finding myself coming back to it.

You can mix this one with most of the flavours in the range here for some intriguing and tasty results!

OMG B POP

This is another ‘WTF’ flavour much like Fcuking Fab!

It’s sweetness overload, there’s a lot of different fruits present here and a lot of sweetener, so definitely one for people that enjoy a very sweet vaping experience.

In terms of the fruits, I pick up on some raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and I think what tastes like cotton candy in the background too!

I’ve mixed this one with Cherry Lemon, Miami Mint, Fcuking Fab and Raspberry Lemonade to really confuse my palate!

Cherry Lemon

There’s a lovely thick and syrupy dark cherry flavour to kick things off, and a tangy citrus note of lemon in the background.

I didn’t think the two flavours would work together but Reign Bar have done a great job with the blending.

I found that Cherry Lemon combines really well with Raspberry Lemonade and Mexico Mango strangely enough, but that is the beauty of this range- you can really experiment with the flavours!

How Does The Reign Bar Palette Perform?

This is a ‘tale of two halves’!

Firstly, you can vape one half of the Reign Bar Palette independently of the other, with a maximum power output of 14W. I did find this a little weak for my tastes though.

By combining the two halves of the device, you can vape at up to 28W, which is a bit more like it for me!

Though this might be a bit much for some users, so you can adjust the intensity of the vape by using the button on the screen, which makes slight tweaks to the power output of the device.

These have a nicotine strength of 50mg, so these hit hard and cravings can be satisfied within a couple of puffs, they certainly were for me!

In terms of the airflow, you can adjust this using the switches on the base of each half of the device to get anything from a tight MTL hit right up to a borderline restricted lung hit.

With the airflow fully open, you can get some pretty dense vapour production too.

Battery life is dependent on the intensity level and how frequently you draw on it, but for most users you can easily get a full day from it.

How Many Puffs Can You Get From A Reign Bar Palette?

Reign Bar say that you can expect up to 50,000 puffs from a Reign Bar Palette, but this will depend on your usage and vaping habits.

Your puff count will vary depending on the selected intensity level as well as how frequently you draw on the device and how long you draw on it for.

When using a Reign Bar Palette solely at the highest intensity level, I got 7,356 puffs from it. Though by reducing the intensity level, and vaping one half of the device independent of the other, you can expect far more puffs.

Final Verdict

Reign Bar have developed a device here that allows you to get creative and experiment with different flavour combinations and intensity levels for some tasty results!

And props to Reign Bar for the quality of the flavours too, it feels like some expert mixing expertise has gone into developing the flavour blends, with some very tasty results for the most part.

I do love how this has been designed so that the two halves of the device can work independently of one another, showing a commitment to innovation and pushing the boundaries of a vaping device.

So, alongside the Reign Bar Mana 50K, Reign Bar have got a couple of winners on their hands here and I look forward to seeing more of what they release in the future!

Design & Build Quality

The device itself it palm-sized, measuring in at 55mm x 28mm x 102mm, and is pretty light too. Though if you have small hands, you will struggle to close your fingers around one of these!

A couple of design aspects stand out to me here. First is the transparent viewing window on the side of the device, which allows you to see exactly how much e-liquid remains in the tank. This is a helpful feature as it allows you to visually keep track of your e-liquid.

Secondly, the prominent intelligent dynamic screen is bright and bold, displaying the sweetness and ice level and the remaining battery as a percentage. I’ve found this to be clear and easy to see under any type of light conditions.

At the top of the screen are two buttons used for adjusting the sweetness level and the coolness of your e-liquid, though these can be easily pressed accidentally which has an impact on your vape.

On the base of the device is a functional switch, allowing you to switch between eco and boost modes, as well as locking the device down entirely.

Quick Start Guide

An auto draw function is found on the Reign Bar Mana 50K so if you really want to, you can just go right ahead and vape one of these out of the box!

Just take a draw on the mouthpiece in order to get the device to fire.

Eco and Boost modes are available to choose from, Eco mode will restrict the power output to improve battery life, Boost mode provides a much stronger vape but at the cost of battery life and total puffs.

Also, a funky feature here is that you have the ability to adjust the level of sweetness as well as the cooling level of your vape!

The buttons at the top of the screen allow you to do this, and you can cycle through four different sweetness and ice settings independently. A pretty cool function and something I haven’t come across before!

To lock the device down altogether, slide the switch over to ‘close’. You won’t be able to adjust the sweetness or ice levels nor will you be able to draw on it with this active.

Charging

A Type-C charging port is located at the base of the Reign Bar Mana 50K, so you just have to plug in a compatible Type-C charging cable and use a suitable power output source.

I did find that the charging time is quite slow overall, taking around an hour for a full charge.

Flavours

Reign Bar have released the Reign Bar Mana 50K range with ten flavours, which are Mexico Mango, Juicy Peach Ice, Strawberry Kiwi, Watermelon Ice, Grape Ice, Sour Cranapple, Miami Mint, Fcuking Fab, Blue Razz Ice and Icy Mint.

As mentioned, with the flavours, you can adjust the sweetness level as well as the cooling sensation with each one. So if you like your blends very sweet and bone chillingly cold, you have that option!

Reign Bar kindly sent over eight of them for me to try out and here are my thoughts!

Mexico Mango

Putting the name to one side, this is an excellent straightforward mango blend.

Reign Bar have done superbly well to capture the essence of what actual ripe mango tastes like, and have distilled this in vaping form.

Cranking the sweetness and the cooling level right up gives you a vape that is similar to the old Malaysian styled mango blends that were all the rage a few years back, with a teeth chattering chill combined with sweetness that will almost make your eyes water!

Juicy Peach Ice

Well this is another one where Reign Bar have replicated the taste of an actual fruit!

The authenticity here is excellent, almost like biting into an actual peach, and there’s a juicy thickness in the background as well which adds another layer of authenticity.

This becomes even more noticeable when you dial down the sweetness and ice level to the minimum.

Despite not being a fan of overly sweet blends, I must confess that I did really enjoy this one with the sweetness level turned up to the max along with the ice too!

Fcuking Fab

Well this is a bit of a strange one for me and I struggled to put my finger on what the exact flavour was.

There’s a strange mix of different flavours present, and it is very sweet even at the base sweetness setting. No amount of adjusting the ice output did much to change it!

I got some grape and a hint of some tropical notes in the background, plus what tasted like an energy drink type flavour.

I can’t say that I really know what is going on here and in all honestly it is like a whole bunch of different flavours have been chucked together!

I wasn’t a fan of this one if I’m honest, which is a shame as I really enjoyed the other flavours!

Blue Razz Ice

Reign Bar have truly crafted a balanced profile here!

It starts with a rich, jam-like blueberry that marries seamlessly with a bold raspberry. Both fruits maintain equal prominence throughout the draw, followed by a noticeable, yet balanced, cooling sensation right at the exhale, which can of course be intensified to your liking.

While the sweetness is generous, the star of the show is the finish: a delightful sour tang that lands last, leaving a genuinely satisfying tingle on the tongue. This is a vape that executes both flavour intensity and textural experience almost flawlessly!

Grape Ice

I initially braced myself for a blast of artificial, grape soda sweetness, but what I actually experienced was far more sophisticated!

This has a flavour profile leaning toward authentic dark grape. This blend presents a deep grape essence, carefully layered with a distinct note of sourness and just enough sweetener to enhance, not overpower.

While it’s expertly balanced and quite authentic, the cooling element by default was a let-down as there’s only a subtle chill, not the icy blast I anticipated. Though that being said, I changed that simply by adjusting the ice setting and cranking it right up, making it more suited to my tastes!

Sour Cranapple

If the name didn’t already give it away, what we have here is a blend of sour cranberries and apple. Quite interesting if I must say so myself!

The two flavours work really well together, with the sourness from the cranberries playing off nicely with the sharp notes from the apple flavouring. Both of them taste more authentic than candied too.

This is another blend that really benefits from enhancing the icy notes.

Watermelon Ice

Well, this blend lands squarely in the expected territory: a synthetic candied watermelon flavour heavily reliant on sweetener, backed up with menthol.

Unsurprisingly, it offers nothing unique to distinguish it from the crowded market, even when

Interestingly, switching to boost mode, reducing the sweetness level to minimum and changing the ice output to maximum actually improved the profile.

The artificial watermelon notes were notably dulled somewhat, allowing the menthol cooling agent to come forward and dominate the experience.

Miami Mint

The defining feature here is an overwhelming mint that borders on the flavour of a strongly flavoured toothpaste.

While there is a recognisable cooling lift tucked into the background, the experience is absolutely dominated by this sharp mint.

The citrus elements attempt to provide balance and justification for the “Miami” namesake, but they play a clear supporting role to the dominant menthol.

So, it’s kind of like a tingly toothpaste mixed with citrus, which actually tastes a lot better than how I have described it there!

How Does The Reign Bar Mana 50K Perform?

Each Reign Bar Mana 50K device is set up for mouth to lung vaping and features a quad coil set up, which is markedly different when compared to the industry standard dual mesh coil.

I can really taste the difference that the quad coil set up provides as well, as the flavours here are notably quite intense when you compare the Reign Bar Mana 50K to other similar 50mg devices.

There’s the option of vaping in Eco mode, which restricts the power output to give you more puffs and battery life, or Boost mode which has you vaping at up to 31W but at the cost of reduced battery life and puffs.

I can tell you, hitting a 50mg device at 31W is quite something, it satisfies those nicotine cravings almost immediately, with a satisfying plume of vapour to boot!

In terms of battery life, one of these will see you through a whole day regardless of whether you use Eco or Boost mode.

To be fair, I have only really had to use Eco mode to get me out of a pinch once or twice!

How Many Puffs Can You Get From A Reign Bar Mana 50K?

Reign Bar say that you can get up to 50,000 puffs from eco mode and up to 30,000 from boost mode.

Your puff count will vary depending on the mode selected as well as how frequently you draw on the device and how long you draw on it for.

I’ve been testing these out quite extensively and can say that my puff counts have varied, from as low as 5,666 when solely using boost mode to 24,345 in eco mode.

I do take quite long and frequent puffs though when I vape!

Final Verdict

This is the first Reign Bar product that I have had my hands on and I have to say that it is a winner!

I’ve tried out a lot of high strength nicotine devices in the past and at times, the flavour can be affected by the strength of the nicotine. Not so here!

When vaping a Reign Bar Mana 50K I almost forgot I was vaping 50mg nicotine strength, such is the smoothness and quality of the flavours on offer here. The flavours really are some of the best I’ve tried when it comes to a 50mg device.

It didn’t let me forget that I was vaping a 50mg device though, as these do hit hard, especially when I had one set on the boost function!

I liked the ability to customise how sweet the flavour is and the menthol level too. This allows me to switch up the flavour on the fly and tailor it to my own liking.

Of course, most of the time that involved having the sweetness dialled down and the menthol dialled right up!

So, if you are looking for a kit that hits hard, delivers excellent flavour and allows you to tailor the sweetness and menthol to your own liking, then look no further than the Reign Bar Mana 50K!

Design & Build Quality

This has been designed to be a very basic, reusable vaping kit so there isn’t a whole lot to cover here, there are definitely no screens or buttons present!

With the IVG Reload Mini, you get a slim, cylindrical shaped device that has a height of 120mm and a diameter of 21mm, making it easy to slip into your pocket. It is very lightweight too at only 36g.

The front of the device has the IVG and Reload logos, with a cut out section that allows you to see the flavour of the pod you are vaping, and on the rear is a QR Code that takes you to an instructional video for how to set up and use the device.

On the base is the Type-C charging port for the built in 500mAh battery, a basic indicator light that comes on when you take a puff or charge the device, and a small fixed airflow hole.

The mouthpiece at the top is removable and has been designed in this way to insert a prefilled 2400 Reload pod in the chamber underneath it.

Quick Start Guide

I’m not usually one to read instruction manuals or watch instructional videos when it comes to prefilled pods, I tend to just barrel in and figure it out myself.

Though I did come unstuck here when it came to removing the mouthpiece to insert the pod, which is the first thing that you need to do in order to vape an IVG Reload Mini device.

And the instructions printed on the side of the box aren’t 100% clear on this either, they just tell you to remove the mouthpiece and have a picture of it with an arrow pointing up.

So, I assumed at first that I needed to pull it off!

Initially, I was twisting and pulling on the mouthpiece like a madman trying to remove it, eventually I gave up and scanned the QR code on the side of the device to take me to the instructional video!

Then it all made sense…

What you need to do is:

• Place your thumb on the mouthpiece and push it off (you should hear a click)
• Put the mouthpiece to one side
• Take the pod out of the packet, remove all the bungs and stickers
• Then place it into the device making sure the triangle on the pod is pointing downwards.

Also, if the pod has been inserted correctly, the flavour printed on the pod should be visible through the cut out on the device.

After that, just take a puff on it to vape!

Once you have finished your pod off, dispose of the used pod but keep hold of the device, as you can purchase spare pods for it- this device is compatible with the 2400 Reload pod range from IVG.

Charging

One the base of the Reload Mini device is a Type-C charging port, you just need to plug in a compatible charging cable and utilise a suitable power outlet.

There’s a basic blue light that comes on whilst the device is charging, and this will turn off when it has finished.

It does charge at a fairly speedy rate, so you won’t be without your device for long!

Flavours

Rather than developing a whole new range of pods for the Reload Mini, IVG make use of the existing 2400 Reload pods that are widely available due to their hugely popular IVG 2400 4 in 1 device.

With the Reload Mini, you can choose from 20 different flavour kits to get you going, and once your original pod has run out you can use any existing 2400 Reload pod and continue to use your Reload Mini device.

I got the full range of Reload Mini flavours through for review so here are my thoughts on 10 of them to start off, I will update the review with the remaining 10 flavours shortly!

Sour Raspberry

They say:

a bold, sour raspberry flavour with a lip-smacking finish

We say:

This starts off with a phenomenally authentic tasting raspberry flavouring, that finishes off with a lovely sour note at the end.

IVG have managed to balance the fruity raspberry flavouring, the sweetener and the sourness just right, delivering a flavour experience that really stood out to me here.

It left me with a lovely sweet and sour mouthfeel at the end, that got me puffing away on it more and more!

Pineapple Ice

They say:

golden pineapple with a smooth, icy edge

We say:

IVG have mastered the Pineapple Ice flavour, and their version in the 2400 Reload pods is proof of that.

While many other brands opt for an artificial, candy-like sweetness, IVG delivers a flavour that’s authentic and true to real pineapple juice. It’s a taste that’s both natural and incredibly refreshing.

The experience begins with a subtle sweetness that builds as you vape, perfectly balanced by a cool, icy undertone.

On the exhale, the chill becomes more prominent, leaving you with a crisp, clean finish. If you’re a fan of a genuine, cool pineapple flavour, this is a must-try.

Strawberry Ice

IVG did a fantastic job of capturing the taste of a real, ripe strawberry. The result is a vape that’s remarkably true to the fruit itself, with a natural flavour that isn’t overwhelmed by sweetness.

While a touch more sweetness would have been perfect for me, the genuine authenticity of the flavour is what truly makes it stand out.

The cooling sensation is subtle, but that just puts the focus on the pure, delicious strawberry experience.

Pink Lemonade

They say:

a smooth, fruity blend of sweet raspberries and citrus lemon.

We say:

Ready for a fizzy kick? This Pink Lemonade blend is unapologetically bold!

The lemonade flavouring takes the lead, strong and zesty, with a whisper of red berry playing a supporting role.

This is a flavour blend for anyone who loves a sugary, sweet vape.

The sweetness is dialled all the way up, creating a vibrant, candy-like taste. But what truly makes it unique is the intense fizziness. It’s not just a subtle note of carbonation; it’s a powerful, tingling sensation that perfectly mimics a bubbly drink.

Sour Blueberry Raspberry

They say:

tart blueberries and raspberries with a sour finish.

We say:

Looking for a flavour blend with a real punch? This Sour Blueberry Raspberry blend is a must-try!

Unlike many others where the sour note is just a subtle hint, this one takes centre stage, delivering a powerful, tangy kick that dominates every puff.

But I did find that the fruity Blueberry and Raspberry flavour notes aren’t lost in the mix.

Beneath that intense sour layer, I found a fantastic blend of juicy blueberry and sharp, ripe raspberry!

Red Apple Ice

They say:

fresh, sweet red apples with a clean, frosty kick.

We say:

I definitely agree with the description, one of the first thoughts that sprang to mind was how fresh tasting this blend is!

The red apple flavouring is almost like biting into an actual red apple, with a crisp bite. There’s a bit of juiciness to it too, almost like apple juice.

To finish off, there is a subtle cooling hit that refreshes my palate ready for the next puff.

Pro Blue

They say:

a punchy mix of blueberry and raspberry ice.

We say:

Well, with this one the balance seemed really off, which was quite surprising!

I felt that the blueberry vastly overpowered the raspberry flavouring, with the blueberry tasting quite strangely artificial and sharp. I couldn’t really pick up on the raspberry in this pod.

In terms of a cooling element, there wasn’t too much to speak of here. There was a very slight sensation if I drew on the device pretty hard, but other than that it wasn’t really there for me.

Strawberry Raspberry Ice

They say:

Sweet strawberries and tangy raspberries, cooled down with a blast of ice

We say:

I love a strawberry and raspberry blend, and IVG have absolutely nailed this one!

What made this one stand out for me was how authentic the strawberry and raspberry flavours tasted, with the balance of each flavour just about right.

The sweet berry flavouring of the strawberry gives way to the sour tang from the raspberry, and a cooling undertone holds it all together.

Delicious stuff!

Strawberry Watermelon

They say:

juicy strawberries and fresh watermelon blended to perfection

We say:

The star of this blend is definitely the strawberry!

It’s a bold, candied flavour that immediately reminds me of a sweet, chewy candy. This vibrant strawberry is so forward that it pushes the watermelon into the background- thankfully for me as I don’t really like watermelon flavourings!

The watermelon plays a much more subtle role, almost like a supporting character. It’s a faint aftertaste that you’ll notice on the exhale. If you want a powerful, sweet strawberry vape with just a hint of watermelon, this blend is for you.

Watermelon Ice

They say:

clean, crisp watermelon with a chilled exhale

We say:

I’m no fan of watermelon ice flavours at all, there are very few that I get on with at the best of times!

This one didn’t change my opinion on them either.

It’s the generic candied watermelon flavour that is quite sickly sweet too, with a slight chill to it, not really any different from the hundreds of others I have tried out over time!

Tropical Fruits

They say:

a sun-soaked blend of juicy mango, sweet pineapple, and a splash of passionfruit

We say:

This is a refreshing blend that really hit the mark for me.

It’s got three of my favourite fruit flavours in it, so definitely onto a winner here with this tropical fruit combo!

On the inhale I pick up on the mango to start off with, and the pineapple and passionfruit hold that tropical vibe together in the background. Delicious!

Classic Menthol

They say:

a crisp, clean menthol with a fresh, icy breeze.

We say:

This blend fails to deliver on the expected intensity of a menthol vape.

The flavour profile registered as surprisingly subdued, characterized by a generic mint baseline devoid of any notable complexity or impact.

Crucially, the cooling effect was minimal, resulting in a noticeable lack of a characteristic invigorating finish. A stronger menthol hit would have gone a long way here!

Kiwi Passionfruit Guava

They say:

 a tropical trio of tangy kiwi, smooth guava, and sweet passionfruit

We say:

If you’re navigating the transition from disposable vapes following the UK ban, look no further—this Kiwi Passionfruit Guava is engineered for your taste buds!

It perfectly mirrors that sought-after disposable-style intensity, delivering maximum flavour saturation, and also does a good job of mimicking disposable style sweetness too, perhaps a little too sweet for me!

The tropical notes of bright kiwi, tart passionfruit and sweet guava are dialled up to eleven, creating an undeniably punchy and delicious blend that screams summer refreshment.

Lemon & Lime

They say:

Prepare for a vibrant tang with this citrus pairing!

The profile immediately evokes the unmistakable taste of lemon and lime confectionery, featuring brilliant bursts of zest elevated by a noticeable, yet controlled, sweetness with a subtle cooling sensation adding an extra layer of complexity.

While noticeably sweeter than some current offerings, the execution remains remarkably well-rounded and IVG deliver a solid lemon and lime combo here.

Grape Ice

They say:

A smooth purple grape flavour with a cool icy finish.

We say:

Over the years, I’ve developed a bit of a love/hate relationship with Grape Ice blends, and unfortunately more often than not I don’t get on with them.

If the blend is on point, then I’ll vape a Grape Ice blend non-stop, but if it isn’t I usually find I end up with a sharp, harsh and artificial tasting experience.

Thankfully, IVG’s blend hits the mark here!

I get an authentic grape flavour here thankfully with just the right level of balance, finished off with a nice, icy note. This is one I puffed through in one day!

Fizzy Cherry

It’s straight-up confectionery euphoria, tasting exactly like intensely flavoured, syrup-drenched cherry candy drops.

Cherry Ice

They say:

Whereas other blends in this range boast robust, disposable-like flavour intensity, this one felt distinctly watered down.

The inhale offers only a faint echo of red cherry, notably lacking the thick, rich texture that defines a truly great syrupy cherry flavour.

Crucially, the promised ‘ice’ failed to materialize; the Koolada presence was too weak to deliver the necessary ‘frozen cherry’ impact, resulting in a surprisingly muted vape.

Blue Razz Soda

They say:

tangy blue raspberry with a sparkling soda twist.

We say:

This is another old disposable favourite reinvigorated!

A very sweet and punchy blue raspberry flavouring dominates the blend from beginning to end, and there’s what tastes like a hint of citrus and koolada in the background.

The soda element is a bit flat though, there isn’t really much of a fizz or anything that reminded me of soda to speak of here.

Blue Razz Cherry

They say:

sweet cherries and blue raspberries combined in a bold, fruity blend.

We say:

Blue Razz Cherry is one of my favourites from this range, which is a bit of a surprise for me as it is a flavour profile that I can usually take or leave!

There’s the same blue raspberry flavouring from the Blue Razz Soda, but this time a lashing of cherry is added in and it really suits this blend well.

It made me think of a blue slushy with added cherry!

Blue Raspberry Ice

They say:

clean, crisp blue raspberry with an icy finish.

We say:

This blend showcases a distinctly sharp and punchy blue raspberry profile!

It achieves a remarkable level of flavour saturation, thoroughly coating my palate with an intensely sweet texture. There’s significant juicy depth to the fruit flavouring, making it taste remarkably close to your favourite blue raspberry hard candy.

The icy finish is subtle but blends in well with the blue raspberry, cutting through a bit of the sweetness and refreshing my palate ready for the next puff.

How Does The IVG Reload Mini Perform?

Inside each pod is a mesh coil, and the IVG Reload Mini device has a fixed airflow and power output, which is designed to deliver a mouth to lung vape.

I’ve no qualms with the vape quality at all, it does exactly what it sets out to do, delivering a smooth and satisfying mouth to lung hit with a subtle amount of vapour produced.

The nicotine hit is pretty quick and satisfying as well, thanks to the 20mg nicotine salt strength in the pre-filled pods.

Battery Life

This is a small device with a 500mAh battery built into it, so don’t go expecting multiple days of battery life!

It has been designed to get the average user through a full 2ml pod, which is what I found during use.

I am quite a heavy vaper, so I found that I tended to finish off a full pod before the battery even ran out! A full charge would last me a full pod plus a fair few puffs on a fresh one.

You don’t really have any way of telling how much battery life you have left, as there isn’t a battery level indicator here.

The vape quality just kind of drops off very drastically, getting quite weak, which was my only indication that I needed to charge the device.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An IVG Reload Mini?

Each pod has 2ml of 20mg nicotine salt e-liquid inside, and is designed to offer up to 600 puffs depending on your vaping habits.

Your mileage from each pod will vary depending on how frequently you vape, and how long you draw on the device for.

I found that I could easily get through an entire pod in a day, though I do vape heavily, and I counted 395 puffs from the Cherry Ice one!

Pros

• One of the cheapest reusable pre-filled pod systems that you can buy
• Very quick set up process once you’ve got the hang of removing the mouthpiece
• Perfect option for beginners thanks to the easy set up and mouth to lung vape
• Wide choice of different flavours
• Compact, discreet profile
• Compatible with existing IVG 2400 Reload pods

Cons

• Instructions on the box aren’t too clear when it comes to removing the mouthpiece to insert the pod
• No way of telling when a pod is about to run out
• Very basic kit

Final Verdict

When it comes to developing prefilled pod systems, IVG truly are right up there with the very best, and that is down to not only the quality of the devices, but the excellent flavour quality from the vape.

I would expect that this is due to the expertise that IVG possess in blending and developing e-liquids, so whenever I vape an IVG flavour I know that it will taste exactly how I expect it to.

With the IVG Reload Mini, you’ve got 20 of IVG’s excellent flavours to pick from, and swapping these out is a breeze due to the compatibility with the IVG 2400 Reload prefilled pods. Once you have figured out how to remove the mouthpiece of course!

This has genuine reusability as well thanks to the 2400 Reload pods being widely available online and in bricks and mortar shops, with the built in battery able to be recharged over and over again.

Design & Build Quality

No beating around the bush here, the Fumot T9000 Pro Max is an absolute beast of a device, this thing really is huge (for a prefilled pod system)!

It has dimensions of 135mm x 32mm, I couldn’t see a listing for the weight from the manufacturer so I weighed one myself and it came out at 118g…making it a pretty heavyweight bit of kit and definitely not one of the most pocket friendly ones out there.
In fact, I got some pretty strange looks out in public when I had this in the pocket of my skinny jeans…

Anyway, it has a cylindrical design and the shape and weight reminded me somewhat of some of my old sub-ohm mechanical mods from back in the day. It does seem like some design inspiration has been taken from those!

On the base of the T9000 Pro Max is an RGB light display that flashes whenever you take a puff, and let me tell you…this thing is BRIGHT! I mean really bright, and it can’t be turned off either, which I wasn’t best pleased with.

Nevermind standing out in the crowd, you are probably visible from altitude with this, if I was lost at sea I would just puff away on one of these to make myself visible!

Quick Start Guide

With the Fumot T9000 Pro Max adhering to the latest TPD guidelines, you need to assemble the 2ml pod and 10ml refill container before you vape.

Or, thanks to the modular design, you can just go right ahead and get vaping on the pre-installed prefilled 2ml pod!

But we know the majority of you won’t do that and will want to utilize the 10ml refill container…

So, take the silicone mouthpiece off of the 2ml pod, align it with the 10ml refill container and push the two together. This might need a little bit of force applied, I certainly had to give it some!

After that, remove the insulating sticker from the base of the cartridge, insert the assembled pod and refill container into the top of the device and just take a puff on the mouthpiece to vape.

Charging

The Type-C charging port is located on the base of the device, so you won’t be able to stand the device up whilst charging, just plug a Type-C charging cable in and use a suitable power source to charge the Fumot T9000 Pro Max..

Flavours

In terms of flavour choice, you won’t find a prefilled pod kit range offering many more options than the Fumot T9000 Pro Max range does, with a huge 36 different options to choose from! These are-

Fumot sent me eight different T9000 Pro Max kits to try out, and here are my thoughts on them-

Peach Berry

On the inhale, I get a very syrupy sweet peach flavouring that reminded me of the syrup present in canned peaches (don’t ask me how I know how that tastes!).

A mixed berry blend rounds off the syrupy peach, delivering a blast of berries to contrast against the syrupy peach.

It’s a little on the sweet side, appealing to vapers who have a sweet tooth, but it goes well with the disposable-style vibe of the blend.

Dr Blue

Dr Blue gave me a blue raspberry slushie vibe, I got a strong hit of blue raspberry to start things off with a chilly undertone to it. And of course there is a very sweet finish to this too!

Other than that, there wasn’t much else to it!

Strawberry Watermelon

This is a blend of candied strawberry and watermelon flavourings, both of which tasted pretty strong and there was a sharp aftertaste as a result.

There’s a lot of sweetener here as expected, but even that didn’t cut through the sharp aftertaste.

Fizzy Cherry

Whilst vaping Fizzy Cherry, I noticed I had an odd throat hit like sensation at the back of my throat with each puff, it made my throat tickle and occasionally made me cough, which isn’t something I have noticed with a fizzy cherry blend before!

I’m not sure what it was but it was definitely an odd sensation! Perhaps I was reacting to an ingredient in the e-liquid blend, as this wouldn’t be the first time, but I’m not certain on this!

Aside from the weird throat sensation, Fumot have developed a pretty solid fizzy cherry blend. The cherry flavouring is quite candied and sweet tasting, and I can definitely pick up on the fizz in the blend.

Straw Mango

Straw Mango is a blend of strawberry and mango, just in case you hadn’t guessed already from the name!

It’s a nicely blended one from Fumot too, though it doesn’t do anything too special.

The strawberry tastes like a candied strawberry flavour, and the mango could have been a little bit stronger. That being said, it is a pleasant enough and easy going blend.

Raspberry Watermelon

I expected a lot more from this if I’m going to be honest, especially from the raspberry note!

I wasn’t getting much in the way of raspberry flavouring at all in this blend, it just seemed to be dominated by a strong and sharp watermelon flavour and plenty of sweetener too.

Not my cup of tea if I’m honest!

Blueberry Raspberry

A bold blueberry flavour takes the lead on the inhale, accented by a subtle floral undertone. The exhale brings a new dimension with the bright, slightly tart taste of raspberry, creating a well-balanced and harmonious blend.

While the flavours are nicely intertwined, the blueberry has a slight edge in intensity over the raspberry.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the floral notes that I was picking up on though!

Blueberry Cherry Cranberry

The flavour notes in the this blend don’t so much contrast as they clash.

The blueberry is overpowering- a syrupy, artificial sweetness that dominates everything else. It completely smothers the subtle tartness of the cherry, leaving you with a muddled, indistinct berry taste.

Any potential for a sharp, sour finish from the cranberry is lost entirely, drowned out by the excessive sweetness.

It’s an unbalanced and disappointing mix that promises complexity but delivers only a sugary, one-note experience.

How Does The Fumot T9000 Pro Max Perform?

As expected from a device like this, the wattage output and airflow is fixed. I couldn’t find the resistance of the coil on Fumot’s website, but I do know that it features ‘cutting-edge’ mesh coil technology with a ‘low-resistance’ coil.

Fumot have bucked the trend of ‘duck-bill’ styled or flat mouthpieces, commonly featured on the majority of prefilled pod systems, and they’ve gone with an ‘old-fashioned’ cylindrical shaped one.

As it’s been so long since I vaped a device featuring a cylindrical mouthpiece, I found it kind of weird to begin with!

The end result is a pretty tight mouth to lung vape, that definitely appeals to beginner vapers and those switching from disposables, with a satisfying level of vapour produced that isn’t on the anti-social side.

Battery Life

Battery life is a big plus point with the Fumot T9000 Pro Max. You’ve got a 1300mAh battery and just straightforward vaping with no bells and whistles sucking the life out of it…aside from the multi-coloured searchlight at the base.

This thing goes on and on from a full charge, I could easily get more than a day out of it, reducing battery anxiety big time.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From A Fumot T9000 Pro Max?

As with any pre-filled device, I wouldn’t read too much into any claims made around how many puffs you will get.

This is always variable, and will depend on factors such as how frequently you vape, the output power and coil resistance of the device, and how long you draw on the kit for!

Many manufacturer puff counts are obtained in laboratory settings by measuring puffs that last for less than one second, so this is often not reflective of how people vape in reality.

Anyway, I measured how many puffs I got from a single Fumot T9000 Pro Max (which took me almost a week!) and I got a total of 3,420 puffs.

Pros

• Set up for beginners
• Lots of different flavour options
• Long battery life
• Plenty of puffs

Cons

• Pretty mahoosive, weighty bit of kit
• Cylindrical mouthpiece might feel odd for some users
• Pod and refill container needed a fair bit of pressure to fit them together
• Flavours I tried were a bit hit and miss
• I wasn’t a big fan of the bright RGB display at the base and it can’t be turned off!

Final Verdict

With the T9000 Pro Max, there’s aspects I liked here, and there’s also some that I didn’t either.

There’s no getting away from it, this is a BIG device! It is tall and weighty, so definitely not one for those that like a stealthy kit. Also, some of the flavours I tried were a bit hit and miss, but I only tried out a small sample of the 36 flavours that are on offer.

And I definitely was not a fan of the bright RGB light at the base either!

Plus points here are that this is a kit that will be easy to get to grips with if you are a beginner. Battery life is good enough to get you through a full day and you’ll get a lot of puffs from each kit.

There’s a lot of flavours to pick from too!

Finally, these seem to be quite well priced in the UK. For under £9 you are getting a kit that provides a lot of puffs and good battery life, so this kit will be a good option for the budget-conscious, as you can get about a weeks worth of vaping from one T9000 Pro Max!

Fans of small and compact devices can turn away now, as the IVG XL35 is a big old kit- not just in terms of the amount of puffs it delivers but the size of it too!

Get prepared for some funny looks if you wear skinny jeans and pop one of these in your pocket…

There’s an aluminium finish, which has a nice colour gradient on it that shines when the sun catches it, giving it a premium look.

In terms of features, IVG keep it basic, there’s a smart screen on the front that displays the battery life as a percentage, and it also shows which output mode is selected- either Eco or Boost. This can be toggled using the button just below the screen.

Above the screen is the IVG logo, and on the opposite side is a QR code which takes you to the product information page on the IVG website and shows you how to set your XL35 kit up- we will detail those simple steps below!

Quick Start Guide

As this is a ‘big puff’ prefilled kit, assembly is required before use so that it remains compliant with the latest TPD regulations in the UK.

To begin with, take the two 10ml refill containers out of the packaging, invert them and remove the red rubber bungs before clicking the two refill containers together. Keep the assembled refill containers upside down for now!

Next up, grab the pod/mouthpiece section and remove the rubber bungs from this as well as the sticker from the base. Then slide this through the centre of the refill containers until all the parts securely click together.

Finally, flip the assembled unit together and attach it to the XL35 device, this attaches magnetically for ease of use.

Once you have done all of that, just take a puff on the mouthpiece to vape!

You can switch between Eco and Boost modes by pushing the button underneath the screen, Eco mode lowers the intensity of the vape and reduces power consumption as a result. Boost mode ups the intensity and provides a stronger vape, maximising the 18W output of the kit!

Just to note- there is quite a lot of waste produced during the set up process thanks to the rubber bungs and the packaging, which is an unfortunate by-product of having a kit that is compliant with the latest regulations.

Charging

As this is a reusable kit, you can recharge the 1100mAh battery.

At the base of the device is a Type-C charging port, so you just need a compatible Type-C charging cable and a suitable power outlet.

Charging time isn’t the quickest however, especially if you are charging off of your laptop or PC for example, it can take around an hour for a full charge.

Flavours

IVG have drawn on their vast experience when developing e-liquid flavours, as a result the XL35 range features IVG’s premium quality e-liquid, which makes their prefilled pod systems a step above many others when it comes to flavour quality!

15 flavours make up the XL35 range, all of them fruit blends (bar Classic Menthol), and refill packs can be purchased separately.

I got the full range through for review so here are my thoughts on the flavours!

Pink Lemonade

If you’re looking for a bold and bubbly Pink Lemonade blend, this is it!

It features an assertive lemonade that takes centre stage, with a subtle red berry note peeking through to offer support.

The sweetness is cranked up, making this a perfect choice for those who love a sugary pink lemonade blend. However, it might be a bit too sweet for some palates.

What really sets this one apart is the powerful fizziness. It’s more than just a hint of carbonation; it’s an intense, tingling sensation that makes you feel like you’re vaping a fizzy drink.

The fizz is so pronounced you might even feel it in your cheeks—a truly unique experience!

Strawberry Ice

Looking for an authentic strawberry flavour? Well this one is a winner!

It’s clear that IVG aimed to recreate the taste of a real, ripe strawberry, and they came incredibly close.

The result is an e-liquid that’s remarkably true to the fruit, capturing the flavour of a fresh strawberry without being overly sweet. While a little extra sweetness would have made it perfect for my taste, the sheer authenticity of the flavour is what truly sets it apart.

The cooling effect from the koolada is subtle, but that just puts the spotlight on the fantastic, genuine strawberry experience.

Peach Ice

Peach Ice captures the sweet, syrupy flavour of tinned peaches, a taste reminiscent of my childhood!

The rich, thick and syrupy sweetness of the texture gives it an authentic feel, perfectly replicating the experience of that classic treat- well it was a classic treat for me anyway!

But this isn’t just a trip down memory lane. The blend finishes with a crisp, refreshing cooling note on the exhale, balancing the sweetness and leaving my palate feeling clean and revitalised.

It’s a perfect blend of rich, sweet peach and a cool finish, making it an ideal all-day vape and my pick out of the range!

Guava Pineapple Passionfruit

This is a flavour combination that really stands out for me!

Unfortunately, Guava Pineapple Passionfruit fell a bit flat for me. I thought that the Guava was too strong and overpowered the Pineapple and Passionfruit flavour notes- both of which I could hardly pick up on.

I also got a really sharp taste from it too which I didn’t find enjoyable.

However, I gave this one to my wife (who loves IVG kits) and she really enjoyed it, saying that she felt it was well-balanced and a tasty, exotic vape so it just goes to show that everyone’s tastes are different.

Cherry Peach Lemon

Now I’ve tried a lot of different flavours from IVG, but a Cherry Peach Lemon blend is a first!

I get a thick, rich red cherry flavour to begin with and this is the most noticeable flavour throughout, being stronger than the peach and lemon notes.

The peach is more of a background note here, and the lemon comes in at the end to give this blend a sharp and sour finish.

Classic Menthol

Looking for a powerful menthol hit?

Well unfortunately this one might not be for you.

I found the flavour to be quite flat and underwhelming, with a generic mint taste that lacked any real punch. The cooling effect was barely there, leaving me wanting more.

It feels like the flavour could have been much stronger to give it that refreshing kick you’d expect from a menthol blend.

Fizzy Cherry

This candied cherry blend delivers a dazzling experience that perfectly balances sweetness and tartness.

The flavour itself is pure sugary-sweet confectionery bliss, reminiscent of those sugar-dusted cherries in a sweet, rich syrup.

What makes this blend stand out is the unique sparkling sensation that dances on your tongue.

It’s an authentic fizz that mimics your favourite bubbly drink, creating a truly lively and unforgettable vape!

Watermelon Strawberry

In this blend, strawberry clearly takes the lead.

It’s a bold, candied strawberry flavour that immediately brings to mind a chewy, sweet candy. This strawberry is so vibrant and forward that it tends to push the watermelon into the background.

The watermelon, while also a candy-style flavour, plays a much more subtle role.

It’s almost like a supporting character, appearing mostly as a faint aftertaste on the exhale. If you’re looking for a vape that’s all about that sweet, powerful strawberry with just a hint of watermelon, this one is for you.

Lemon & Lime

This lemon and lime blend is a fruity delight that tastes just like a handful of lemon and lime flavoured Skittles!

There’s the bright, tangy flavours of lemon and lime, but with a sweeter kick to it and a slight chill too.

While it’s a bit sweeter than some other versions I’ve tried recently, this blend still delivers a well-balanced and satisfying vape. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a simple, sweet, and tangy flavour that’s hard to put down.

Retro Grape

I was ready for another one of those artificial, candy-like grape blends, but this one completely caught me off guard!

It’s a genuine surprise, delivering a deep, authentic grape flavour that tastes like the real fruit, not a soda styled blend.

The profile is rich and full-bodied, with just the right amount of tang and a whisper of sweetness. The cooling sensation is also a pleasant surprise—it’s not a blast of ice but a gentle, subtle chill that perfectly complements the fruit.

If you’re looking for a true-to-life grape vape, this is it!

Blue Raspberry Ice

This Blue Sour Raspberry blend is a masterpiece.

IVG has crafted a well-rounded flavour where a rich, almost jam-like blueberry beautifully complements a bold raspberry. Both fruit notes are prominent from start to finish, with a balanced cooling effect most noticeable on the exhale.

The sweetness is generous, but the real star is the finish.

A delightful sour note hits at the end, leaving a satisfying tingle on your tongue. It’s a perfectly balanced vape that delivers on both flavour and experience!

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry

Green Apple

As an apple fan, I can tell you this blend is a knockout. It’s got a zesty, tangy kick that tastes like a real, fresh-from-the-orchard apple. Every puff is like taking a bite into a crisp, juicy fruit.

IVG really do know how to blend an excellent Pineapple Ice vape and you can really taste the quality in the XL35 version!

This one does standout in a crowded market. Unlike many other brands that lean into a candy-like sweetness, IVG’s version captures the authentic, juicy flavour of real pineapple juice. It’s a taste that’s both natural and refreshing.

The flavour starts with a subtle sweetness that grows as you vape, complemented by a cool, icy undertone. As you exhale, that chill becomes more pronounced, leaving you with a crisp, clean finish.

If you’re a fan of a cool pineapple vape, this is a blend you have to try!

How Does The IVG XL35 Perform?

Inside each pod is a 1.1ohm Dual Mesh Coil set up, and the airflow is fixed on the IVG XL35 to deliver a smooth, mouth to lung vape. The IVG XL35 is also capable of a power output up to 18W.

There are two power output modes available on the XL35. Eco Mode provides a slightly less intense vape, and as it uses less power you get more battery life as a result.

Boost mode makes use of that 18W power output to deliver a stronger and warmer vape, with more cloud production too. Though battery life will take a hit due to the increased power.

I did prefer the more intense vape that I got from Boost mode, but that is more suited to my style!

Each pod is prefilled with 20mg nicotine salt and I got a good, satisfying nicotine hit especially when using Boost mode.

Battery Life

The XL35 delivers here with the built in 1100mAh battery, and it is easy to check on the battery life thanks to it being displayed on the screen.

This provides all day battery life, I’ve had no issues with taking one of these out with me for the day, and battery life can be extended further by switching over to Eco mode which gives you an extra couple of hours.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An IVG XL35?

With the XL35, there’s a massive 22ml of e-liquid thanks to the two 10ml refill containers and the 2ml pod, with IVG stating that each kit is capable of providing up to 35,000 puffs before it needs to be changed!

Of course, this will depend on factors such as how frequently you vape, how long you draw on the device for and whether you are using Eco or Boost modes.

With the Peach Ice XL35, I used this almost exclusively in Boost mode (with the odd usage of Eco mode when my battery started to run low) and took quite long draws, I got a total of 14,663 puffs.

I would expect that you will get far more puffs if you exclusively use Eco mode, which will get you closer to the 35,000 puff figure provided by IVG. If you have this device and vape Eco mode only, let us know how many puffs you are getting!

Final Verdict

IVG have established themselves at the top of the game when it comes to TPD compliant ‘big puff’ prefilled pod systems, and the XL35 is another great addition to their already stellar line up.

One aspect that has driven their rise to the top is the ease of the set up process with their pod systems, making them accessible and appealing to beginners, and you can get an XL35 set up in under a minute.

Another aspect is the quality of the flavours that they provide, IVG draw on their vast experience they have gained from producing top notch e-liquids, and you can really taste the quality as a result.

There’s also a wide range of different flavours to choose from, plus if you purchase spare refill packs you can easily swap flavours in and out.

Finally, they offer great value for money too, with a lot of puffs from each kit! Refill packs are widely available too, so you can continue to use your original device without having to shell out for a brand new one.

Build Quality

OXVA have designed the SlimStick to be a discreet device that slips easily into your pocket or bag, and it is indeed a small form factor kit! It really is quite lovely to hold, and is roughly the same size as your average prefilled pod system.

Even though it is small, with dimensions of 90mm x 32mm x 14mm and a weight of only 58g, the robust aluminium alloy construction ensures that it stands up easily to knocks and the wear of day to day use.

The SlimStick kit actually comprises two parts. Not only do you have the SlimStick device, so the main battery, but you also have a SlimStick cartridge.

It is cigarette like in appearance, so just like cigalikes of old, but shorter and stumpier, with dimensions of 67mm x 9mm, connecting to the SlimStick device magnetically. Each one has the flavour and nicotine strength printed on it, and a different colour depending on which flavour SlimStick you have.

The SlimStick kits themselves are available in a range of six different colours, with Black, Pink, Blue, Gold, Purple and Gray versions.

They feature a minimalistic design, with the OXVA SlimStick logo slightly raised on the front of the device and a shiny metal finish at the top.

There are no screens or buttons, just a basic battery life indicator on one side and the Type-C charging port on the base.

Quick Start Guide

Using a SlimStick is as easy as it gets really!

Remove the protective silicon from your SlimStick cartridge and just drop it into the slot on the SlimStick. 

The device will vibrate to let you know that it has successfully connected.

After that, just draw on the SlimStick cartridge to fire it. Just be aware, you can’t vape the SlimStick cartridge like a cigalike outside of the SlimStick device, it needs to be inserted in the device to vape it.

On the side of the SlimStick device is a very simple LED battery light indicator, which glows green when there is more than 20% battery life remaining and red when it is less than 20%.

Charging

At the base of the SlimStick, you’ll find the Type-C charging port. Just plug in a Type-C charging cable and use a suitable power outlet.

Whilst charging, the battery life indicator will illuminate, and it will turn off when the SlimStick is fully charged.

Charging rate is 5V/1A, so you are looking at just under an hour for a full charge.

Flavours

For the SlimStick range of cartridges, OXVA have developed 11 flavours- all of which can be purchased in packs of two allowing you to continue using your SlimStick device and switch flavours in and out quickly and easily.

I was sent the full range of flavours alongside the SlimStick device!

I won’t go too deep into the flavours, as these have a cigalike simplicity to them and aren’t full of depth, but my brief thoughts are below…

Classic Tobacco

This isn’t a cigarette flavour, this is more of a lighter ‘true’ tobacco flavour with a slightly earthy background and a slightly sweet finish to it.

Even though it doesn’t replicate the taste of a cigarette exactly, I would say that smokers would quite enjoy this flavour and it could help them quit smoking.

I’m a tobacco fan myself and this one was my favourite out of the ones I tried!

Blueberry

This is a very nice, straightforward blueberry flavour.

It isn’t as artificial as I thought it would be, it tastes more like a blueberry jam type of flavour.

I was actually surprised by the level of sweetness in it, I wasn’t expecting it to be as sweet as it was that is for sure!

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry

Now this was one of my favourite flavour blends out of the lot!

Strawberry is the most noticeable and dominant flavour here, and it is backed up with notes of raspberry and cherry flavouring.

Really nicely done, and surprisingly strong flavoured for a cigalike type cartridge!

Lemon Lime

Again, another strong flavoured and robust one here!

I was reminded of a lemon and lime ice lolly when vaping this, it is quite sharp and sweet with a bit of a chill to it too.

Lychee Ice

OXVA have got the lychee flavouring absolutely spot on here, this tastes like a lychee drink, and that is only accented further by the subtle chill present.

This was so moreish that I vaped though it in less than a day, definitely one that I would purchase again!

Mint

So, this mint flavour tasted like spearmint to me! It has got a pretty crisp note to it and a nice cooling sensation on the back of my throat, making it nice and easy going to vape on.

Pineapple

This one tastes much like pineapple juice, and it has that thick texture to it too! I particularly enjoyed the sweet and sour finish to it, which is a nice touch.

Pink Lemonade

Pink Lemonade has a strong citrusy lemonade note that dominates proceedings, with a hint of what tastes like raspberry in the background.

The finish is quite sweet, with some sourness thrown in, and if I close my eyes I can pick up on a slight fizz to it too!

Watermelon

Well, when I take this out of the package there is a real strong smell of artificial watermelon to it.

Taste-wise, it’s actually not all that bad, yes it is a candied watermelon flavour but OXVA have blended it well enough to be palatable to me!

Cola Ice

Alongside the Classic Tobacco, this is the blend I was looking forward to vaping the most!

OXVA have done an excellent job with this, considering the cigalike styled cartridge this delivers a lot of authentic cola flavouring!

The Ice element is well done and adds another layer of authenticity, there’s also a slight hint of fizz present too.

This would be another one I would happily re order and vape on all day!

Kiwi Passion Fruit

Well this one is dominated by the passionfruit flavouring, it is a passionfruit juice type of flavour and the kiwi lends some sourness to the exotic, fruity passionfruit.

I have got to say that all of the flavours in this range are absolutely solid, yes even the watermelon, and they are pretty strong too which is definitely unlike a cigalike!

How Does The OXVA SlimStick Perform?

What we have here with the SlimStick is a device that is set up almost perfectly to replicate the mouth to lung draw from a cigarette, featuring a fixed wattage output and fixed airflow.

When I say ‘almost perfectly’, it gets extremely close to the draw from a cigarette but the SlimStick is just ever so slightly looser. I have that on good authority from a friend of mine who still smokes and tried my SlimStick out!

Said friend actually went on and ordered a SlimStick after trying mine out recently, as they did say that they enjoyed the flavours and the draw, and at the time of writing they have just gone three days smokefree for the first time since they were a teenager!

Each of the SlimStick cartridges are prefilled with 2ml of e-liquid, which features 20mg nicotine salt. I couldn’t find out what the resistance of the coil is, but I’m guessing as it is a cigalike it will be fairly high.

The nicotine hit from a SlimStick is fast acting as a result, and the throat hit is minimal despite the high nicotine strength. Again, this is designed to replicate the nicotine hit that you would get from a puff on a cigarette.

One thing I will say is that there is no real way of knowing how much e-liquid is left inside the SlimStick cartridge. The flavour will drop off quite dramatically, and at that point you’ll want to switch the cartridge out for a new one before the dry hits come in!

Maybe some sort of temperature control technology could be useful with a SlimStick 2?

Battery Life

Battery life is pretty extensive with the SlimStick!

There’s a 1500mAh battery built into the device, and as there is a low fixed power output for a cigarette styled draw, there’s enough from a full charge to last a couple of days at least.

I vape quite heavily and have only had to charge the SlimStick every 2-3 days or so!

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An OXVA SlimStick Cartridge?

Each SlimStick cartridge is prefilled with 2ml of e-liquid, this definitely is not a ‘big puff’ kit!

The amount of puffs that you will get from each cartridge will depend on how frequently you puff away on it and how long you draw on the cartridge for.

Whilst using the Classic Tobacco SlimStick, I recorded 401 puffs. That is actually more than I would get from a standalone cigalike, some of which would struggle to get half of that!

Pros

• Excellent choice for someone who is giving up smoking
• Incredibly simple set up process
• Replicates a cigarette style draw
• Small form factor device
• Very discreet
• A lot of different flavour options
• Good battery life for this style of kit
• Reusable device, can purchase SlimStick replacement cartridges freely and easily

Cons

• SlimSticks only work when inside the SlimStick device
• Fixed power output and airflow
• Very basic battery life indicator
• Can’t tell how much e-liquid is left inside the SlimStick cartridge

Final Verdict

If you are switching over from cigarettes, then the OXVA SlimStick will be a fantastic option to consider. The draw is similar to that of a cigarette, and there are a lot of different flavour options to choose from including a tobacco one!

Users of Heat not Burn devices will also feel right at home with a SlimStick, as the form factor and the operation of the SlimStick is quite similar.

With the design and performance of the device, that does seem like the target market for the SlimStick. And the cost savings are quite incredible over cigarettes, heat not burn and disposable devices, as a new SlimStick device costs less than £10!

Refill packs are 2 for £4.99, so a few of these should see you through a whole week, and you can pick from eleven different flavours and even switch between flavours easily thanks to the cigalike style cartridge design.

For someone who is giving up smoking, and wants to replicate the draw of a cigarette, then I can’t recommend the SlimStick enough as there are very few devices out there that do it better!

Design & Build Quality

My first impressions of the Voopoo Vinci E80 once I got it out of the box and into my hand is that this is a robustly made, solid bit of kit that is surprisingly lightweight for its size, I was expecting it to feel a bit chunkier!

It weighs in at 88.8g, giving it a lightweight and comfortable feel, and it measures in at 113.5mm x 35mm x 23.6mm- which is surprising when you consider there’s a 3000mAh high-density battery packed into the device too!

You can pick from seven different colour finishes, with Purple-Gold Gradient, Orange-Red Gradient, Gold, Green, Rose Red, Metal Gray and Spray Black versions available. I was sent the Purple-Gold Gradient one for review.

The finish here is lovely on the aluminium alloy body. The colours seamlessly segue between each other and it shimmers too, with this effect being even more obvious in direct sunlight.

Thankfully, the finish doesn’t seem to be too much of a scratch magnet either.

Another highlight here is the 1.47″ TFT colour screen. This is large and clear, allowing you to easily see information at a glance such as the coil resistance, battery life, output power and whether the device is locked or not.

And of course, one of the most important features on a pod system is present at the bottom of the screen- a puff counter!

Above the screen is the circular fire button, featuring the ‘Everest Lab’ logo laser etched into the centre of it. This is almost perfectly positioned for my thumb and has quite a short travel, registering near-instantaneous input when I press it.

On one side of the Vinci E80 is the plus and minus buttons, which are used for adjusting the output power and navigating the (small) menu. Underneath this is a locking switch- a handy feature we shall come onto shortly!

Above the plus and minus buttons you’ll find a small airflow intake hole, and directly opposite to this on the other side is the sliding airflow control.

On the same side as the airflow control is the Type-C charging port, located near the base, below the laser etched Voopoo Vinci logo.

Vinci E cartridges are manufactured from polycarbonate and feature a transparent design, which allows you to see exactly how much e-liquid remains in the pod.

These have a built-in coil (unlike some of the other PnP X series cartridges which have removable coils), and a 5ml capacity…though only if you are purchasing them in a non-TPD regulated market.

The TPD regulated versions are restricted to a 2ml capacity to meet the regulations, these are the same size as the 5ml non-TPD cartridges but feature a silicon bung inside them to reduce the capacity.

Of course, as with virtually all other pod systems out there, the cartridges connect to the device magnetically. There’s a really solid connection here between the cartridge and the device, with minimal wobble.

Quick Start Guide

How to Fill the Pod

You get two Vinci E cartridges included in the kit, a 0.3ohm and a 0.6ohm one, so you firstly just need to decide which one you are going to use.

The filling port cover is conveniently located near the top of the cartridge, and off to the side of it, so you don’t need to remove the cartridge to fill it.

Lift the filling port cover up to expose the filling port, and fill your cartridge up to the top.

If you are filling a new cartridge for the first time, wait at least five minutes before vaping it, as this allows the cotton to fully soak up the e-liquid which in turn, reduces the risk of burnt hits and increases the lifespan of the cartridge.

Operation

To turn the device on or off, click the fire button five times quickly. You also need to press the fire button to take a puff on the device.

A locking switch is located on the side of the Vinci E80, this allows you to quickly lock and unlock your device, saving you from having to turn it off when you aren’t using it and protecting you against accidental misfires.

To access the menu, hold down the plus and minus buttons at the side of the device.

There are only a couple of options to choose from here, you can switch between three different themes under ‘THEME’, and ‘PUFF CLEAR’ resets the puff counter. ‘EXIT’ will exit the main menu.

Adjusting the power is done by pressing the plus and minus buttons at the side of the Vinci E80, and power is adjusted in 1W increments.

Charging

Voopoo include a Type-C cable in the kit and recommend this for use with the Vinci E80, you just need to use a suitable power source for the charging cable.

The Type-C charging port is located on the side of the device, towards the bottom which means that you can charge it with the device either stood up or laid down on its side.

Whilst charging, the battery percentage is displayed on screen and the Vinci E80 also gives you an estimate of how long it will take to fully charge.

And when the Vinci E80 is on charge, you can still vape it thanks to pass-through charging, however this will increase the charging time.

5V/2A fast charging is present here, which is a god-send when you consider that the Vinci E80 has a 3000mAh battery!

Thanks to the fast-charging capabilities of this device, it can be fully charged in under an hour.

How Does The Voopoo Vinci E80 Perform?

With an output power range of 5-80W, this is a seriously powerful refillable pod system, and one to definitely consider if you prefer a warmer vape and a lung hit!

Though, if you just want a plug and play vape without having to adjust power settings, the GENE.TT chip present in the device caters to that as it smartly detects the resistance and sets a suitable power output for you.

I noticed that when I pressed the fire button to vape, power delivery is pretty much instantaneous, as vapour was produced immediately with virtually no ramp up time for the coil at all.

Annoyingly, there’s no auto-draw system present here, there have been more than a few occasions where I’ve absent-mindedly gone to take a puff without pressing the power button and nothing has happened. I guess I’ve got very comfortable with my pod systems recently!

In the kit you get a 0.3ohm Vinci E cartridge as well as the 0.6ohm version, so out of the box the Vinci E80 is designed to cater to all styles of vaping including mouth to lung, restricted direct lung and mouth to lung vaping.

I would say however that the Vinci E80 is really best suited to restricted lung and direct lung vaping out of the box, as the included cartridges are a little too powerful for mouth to lung vaping, and the device is definitely on the airy side.

They are great for restricted lung and direct lung vaping though, and there is a 0.8ohm Vinci E cartridge available which might be a better fit for mouth to lung!

One of the first things I wanted to do was to really test out the power of this device, so excitedly I installed the 0.3ohm pod, filled it up, went to crank up the power….only to be stopped from going further than 40W.

As it seems, 40W is the maximum power level permitted for the 0.3ohm cartridge, and it limits the 0.6ohm one to 23W, which is slightly annoying as I feel that these cartridges are both more than capable of handling more.

That being said, I still get a very enjoyable, warm vape at 40W with an immensely satisfying smooth draw present.

These excel with high VG e-liquids as well, I’ve filled up with 70% VG e-liquid in both cartridges and they have faired just fine, with no dry hits and no leaks during use either!

Alongside the included cartridges, the Voopoo Vinci E80 is compatible with a huge range of PnP X platform cartridges, with resistances from 0.15ohm all the way to 1.0ohm, so there’s options here for pretty much all vaping styles, from Mouth to Lung right through to Direct to Lung!

Handily, in the kit, there is a small leaflet that shows the vast amount of PnP X cartridge options available. Pretty much any cartridge that is compatible with the Voopoo Vinci E120 or the Argus E40 will work here!

Flavour

Voopoo are proving themselves to be industry leaders when it comes to providing a flavoursome vape from their cartridges and pods, and the Vinci E pods are shoulder to shoulder with the best ones that Voopoo have produced.

The draw is fantastically smooth, with just about the right level of warmth if you have cranked up the power, and the flavour is just exceptional and crisp.

I primarily vaped high VG shortfills mixed with freebase nicotine in these pods, and I could definitely pick up on each and every flavour note present in my e-liquids.

Pod Lifespan

With both Vinci E cartridges, I got a week and a half of heavy use out of them before the flavour began to degrade and they needed to be disposed of.

I’m happy if a pod lasts a week so if I get longer than that it is a bonus, plus it saves on having to repeatedly buy new pods too!

Airflow

A sliding airflow control is located on the side of the Voopoo Vinci E80, with very smooth travel when you adjust it, and a fixed airflow slot is directly opposite to this on the other side of the device.

This offers a wealth of different vaping options, as you can vape mouth to lung right through to unrestricted direct lung hits.

Though as I’ve said above, I still feel that this is primarily a RDL/DTL device rather than a mouth to lung one.

You can achieve a mouth to lung hit by closing the airflow slider right off, and just using the fixed airflow slot on the opposite side, but this is still a little on the airy side with both cartridges.

Lung hitters will absolutely feast here though, as this is one of the airiest pod systems I have tried out!

When you’ve got the airflow set fully open, there’s a huge amount of airflow being drawn in from both slots, with a very cloudy vape produced as a result.

Battery Life

I found this to be a real highlight with the Voopoo Vinci E80, the battery life here is seriously phenomenal!

I’ve got three days use from a single charge before, which considering how often I vape, is frankly outstanding!

That means I can take this device away with me without worrying about battery life and whether I’ll be able to charge it or not.

Final Verdict

I guess a key question here would be ‘if I lost my Vinci E80, would I buy a new one?’….

And the answer from me is a resounding yes!

In the time I have spent with this beast of a pod system, it has become a daily driver for me, I can’t actually remember ever leaving my house without it.

The reason being is that I’ve always been a vaper that enjoys a bit more of a powerful vape, and a good old lung hit, and the Voopoo Vinci E80 is very good at catering to my needs there…even with the power limits imposed on the coils!

Also, the battery life is absolutely outstanding, and there aren’t many other pod systems that compete with the amount of vaping that I can get from a single full charge of my Vinci E80. I don’t even really need to take any other kits out and about with me!

And of course, the flavour absolutely sings thanks to the Vinci E cartridges. These deliver a vape that is as good as any other in the Voopoo PnP X range, with superb longevity too which saves on having to buy replacement cartridges.

All in all, this is another brilliant pod system from Voopoo and one that I’ll continue to use long into the future!

Design & Build Quality

With the Argus Klyc, Voopoo have gone all out on aesthetics to deliver a sleek and understated looking device that just oozes absolute class! This has a real, serious premium feel about it, and I’m a fan of understated looks and sleek lines.

It measures in at 100.6mm x 29.7mm x 17.2mm, and is constructed from aluminium alloy to give it a real lightweight feel. This is definitely a pocket friendly kit thanks to it’s compact design!

You’ve got six different colour finishes to pick from, with Black & Gold, Dreamy Blue, Dusty Pink, Moss Green, Mystic Gray and Red & Gold kits available. I got the Dusty Pink version for review and seriously, the finish is lovely and shiny!

Voopoo’s big design feature with the Argus Klyc is the magnetic cap, which covers the pod when not in use and keeps it free from dust and lint in your pocket, giving you a cleaner vaping experience.

This clips onto the top of the device satisfyingly, and holds firm thanks to the magnetic connection. When you want to puff on your device, you can pop the cap off and connect it to the base of the Argus Klyc.

Now, it does attach to the base of the device magnetically when vaping, which is convenient, but it isn’t the strongest connection which could make it easy to knock off and lose!

I much preferred to keep the cap in my pocket whilst I vaped.

On one side of the device is the Type-C charging port, and opposite to this you’ll find the smart indicator light and the airflow control. The smart indicator light glows when in use, and displays the output level based on what the chip has determined is best.

Above the smart indicator light is a very basic battery light, this is a very small dot and it glows red if there is less than 20% battery remaining, and white if more than 20% remains. It is that small it might be hard to see for the visually impaired vaper!

The Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2 is manufactured from PCTG and has a 2ml capacity if purchased in a TPD regulated area, and a 3ml capacity outside of this. The pod attaches to the device magnetically, though there is a bit of wobble present.

How to Fill the Pod

With the location of the filling port on the top of the Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2 and the design of the Argus Klyc, you can actually fill the pod without needing to remove it.

You can also see exactly how much e-liquid remains in the pod without removing it from the device too.

So, to fill the pod, pop the silicon filling port cover up to expose the filling port, then the pod all the way up to the pod, taking care not to overfill it otherwise e-liquid will leak back out!

If you are filling a fresh pod for the first time, make sure you leave it for at least five minutes to allow the cotton in the coil to fully absorb the e-liquid, prolonging the lifespan of the pod and cutting down on nasty, burnt hits.

Operation

The Argus Klyc is a simple device that is easy for even newcomers to get to grips with!

It features an auto-draw system, so to vape all you need to do is take a puff on the mouthpiece. The Gene AI.2.0 chip does the heavy lifting for you, to ensure that you’ve got a consistent and satisfying power output.

Essentially, the device detects how long and how hard you draw on it and adapts the power output accordingly, with three different power levels available. This is a pretty smart system and it works well in practice!

On the side of the device is a status indicator, which pulses a range of different colours.

If it is a third full when vaping, there is a low level power output, if it is two thirds full then there is a mid level power output, if the whole bar is full then the device is outputting full power.

This also pulses green whilst charging and when a cartridge is installed.

If you aren’t a fan of the status indicator lighting up, you can turn it off by taking three quick puffs on the mouthpiece within two seconds.

Charging

On the side of the Argus Klyc is a Type-C charging port, and a Type-C charging cable comes included in the kit.

To charge the Argus Klyc, plug the charging cable into the port and utilize a suitable power outlet.

Charging takes place at a rate of 5V/1.2A, so the 1350mAh battery will charge up fully in under an hour.

How Does The Voopoo Argus Klyc Perform?

As I’ve covered already, the strength of the vape is driven by how hard and how long you take a draw for, and the Argus Klyc outputs up to 30W depending on the resistance of your pod and your vaping style!

Whilst using the Argus Klyc, I found that taking frequent, shorter draws tended to get the maximum power level, however there were instances where longer draws got the most out of it.

I did find that the vape was pretty consistent regardless, I didn’t get any wild variations in power when using the Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2, and it tended to stay consistent right until the battery dropped under 20%, with a noticeably weaker vape as a result.

You get the 0.7ohm Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2 included with the device, and it is also compatible with existing Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2 pods as well as the Argus ‘pod family’- there’s a helpful leaflet in the box which details exactly which pods are compatible!

Flavour

I’m really happy that Voopoo have continued to use the excellent Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2 with the Argus Klyc, rather than develop a whole new pod for it, as this is one of my favourite pods and I’ve got plenty of them at home!

With the Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2, you get some of the cleanest and crispest flavour from a pod, and these are arguably the best pods that Voopoo have developed yet.

You can throw pretty much any flavour blend in one of these and it will excel, enhancing all the flavour notes in your vape juice!

Pod Lifespan

Also, Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2 pods boast some of the longest lifespan on the market from my experience. These just go on and on!

I’ll average around a week and a half of heavy vaping from a single pod, and I’m sure that I get more than 100ml worth of refills from them too!

Flavour consistency is spot on too, these pods seem to hold their flavour right up until burnt hits creep in, signifying that it is time to change your pod.

Airflow

On the side of the Argus Klyc is a sliding airflow control, which has buttery smooth travel and can be easily adjusted and fine-tuned just by using my thumb. Plus, once I have set my airflow, the airflow control stays in place!

There’s options here for mouth to lung and restricted lung vaping, though this does lean more towards the mouth to lung side.

Restricted lung vaping is only really an option with the airflow set to fully open, but it is great to see both mouth to lung and restricted lung vaping catered to!

Battery Life

There’s a 1350mAh high-density battery built into the device, and I found that this got my through an entire day quite comfortably.

Usually, it would only drop down to less than 20% around the time I got into bed, and I vape quite heavily!

Final Verdict

Voopoo have done it again with the Argus Klyc, they’ve developed a refillable pod device that blends smooth style with top level flavour performance!

I’ve got to say, in terms of looks and design, it’s one of my favourite pod systems from this year. I do love a minimalistic style, and the Voopoo Argus Klyc has this in spades- I especially love it with the protective cap on, making it almost monolithic in appearance.

Thanks to compatibility with the Argus Top Fill Cartridge V2, you can enjoy some of the best flavour that a refillable pod system can deliver. And you also have compatibility with the rest of the Argus series of pods as well!

The integrated chip set does an excellent job of tailoring the power output to the resistance of your pod and your style, offering a smooth and consistent vape that really let me enjoy the flavours from my favourite e-liquids.
