Design & Build Quality

This has been designed to be a very basic, reusable vaping kit so there isn’t a whole lot to cover here, there are definitely no screens or buttons present!

With the IVG Reload Mini, you get a slim, cylindrical shaped device that has a height of 120mm and a diameter of 21mm, making it easy to slip into your pocket. It is very lightweight too at only 36g.

The front of the device has the IVG and Reload logos, with a cut out section that allows you to see the flavour of the pod you are vaping, and on the rear is a QR Code that takes you to an instructional video for how to set up and use the device.

On the base is the Type-C charging port for the built in 500mAh battery, a basic indicator light that comes on when you take a puff or charge the device, and a small fixed airflow hole.

The mouthpiece at the top is removable and has been designed in this way to insert a prefilled 2400 Reload pod in the chamber underneath it.

Quick Start Guide

I’m not usually one to read instruction manuals or watch instructional videos when it comes to prefilled pods, I tend to just barrel in and figure it out myself.

Though I did come unstuck here when it came to removing the mouthpiece to insert the pod, which is the first thing that you need to do in order to vape an IVG Reload Mini device.

And the instructions printed on the side of the box aren’t 100% clear on this either, they just tell you to remove the mouthpiece and have a picture of it with an arrow pointing up.

So, I assumed at first that I needed to pull it off!

Initially, I was twisting and pulling on the mouthpiece like a madman trying to remove it, eventually I gave up and scanned the QR code on the side of the device to take me to the instructional video!

Then it all made sense…

What you need to do is:

• Place your thumb on the mouthpiece and push it off (you should hear a click)
• Put the mouthpiece to one side
• Take the pod out of the packet, remove all the bungs and stickers
• Then place it into the device making sure the triangle on the pod is pointing downwards.

Also, if the pod has been inserted correctly, the flavour printed on the pod should be visible through the cut out on the device.

After that, just take a puff on it to vape!

Once you have finished your pod off, dispose of the used pod but keep hold of the device, as you can purchase spare pods for it- this device is compatible with the 2400 Reload pod range from IVG.

Charging

One the base of the Reload Mini device is a Type-C charging port, you just need to plug in a compatible charging cable and utilise a suitable power outlet.

There’s a basic blue light that comes on whilst the device is charging, and this will turn off when it has finished.

It does charge at a fairly speedy rate, so you won’t be without your device for long!

Flavours

Rather than developing a whole new range of pods for the Reload Mini, IVG make use of the existing 2400 Reload pods that are widely available due to their hugely popular IVG 2400 4 in 1 device.

With the Reload Mini, you can choose from 20 different flavour kits to get you going, and once your original pod has run out you can use any existing 2400 Reload pod and continue to use your Reload Mini device.

I got the full range of Reload Mini flavours through for review so here are my thoughts on 10 of them to start off, I will update the review with the remaining 10 flavours shortly!

Sour Raspberry

They say:

a bold, sour raspberry flavour with a lip-smacking finish

We say:

This starts off with a phenomenally authentic tasting raspberry flavouring, that finishes off with a lovely sour note at the end.

IVG have managed to balance the fruity raspberry flavouring, the sweetener and the sourness just right, delivering a flavour experience that really stood out to me here.

It left me with a lovely sweet and sour mouthfeel at the end, that got me puffing away on it more and more!

Pineapple Ice

They say:

golden pineapple with a smooth, icy edge

We say:

IVG have mastered the Pineapple Ice flavour, and their version in the 2400 Reload pods is proof of that.

While many other brands opt for an artificial, candy-like sweetness, IVG delivers a flavour that’s authentic and true to real pineapple juice. It’s a taste that’s both natural and incredibly refreshing.

The experience begins with a subtle sweetness that builds as you vape, perfectly balanced by a cool, icy undertone.

On the exhale, the chill becomes more prominent, leaving you with a crisp, clean finish. If you’re a fan of a genuine, cool pineapple flavour, this is a must-try.

Strawberry Ice

They say:

classic strawberry with a refreshing ice twist.

We say:

IVG’s Strawberry Ice 2400 Reload pod is a clear winner for anyone seeking an authentic fruit flavour.

IVG did a fantastic job of capturing the taste of a real, ripe strawberry. The result is a vape that’s remarkably true to the fruit itself, with a natural flavour that isn’t overwhelmed by sweetness.

While a touch more sweetness would have been perfect for me, the genuine authenticity of the flavour is what truly makes it stand out.

The cooling sensation is subtle, but that just puts the focus on the pure, delicious strawberry experience.

Pink Lemonade

They say:

a smooth, fruity blend of sweet raspberries and citrus lemon.

We say:

Ready for a fizzy kick? This Pink Lemonade blend is unapologetically bold!

The lemonade flavouring takes the lead, strong and zesty, with a whisper of red berry playing a supporting role.

This is a flavour blend for anyone who loves a sugary, sweet vape.

The sweetness is dialled all the way up, creating a vibrant, candy-like taste. But what truly makes it unique is the intense fizziness. It’s not just a subtle note of carbonation; it’s a powerful, tingling sensation that perfectly mimics a bubbly drink.

Sour Blueberry Raspberry

They say:

tart blueberries and raspberries with a sour finish.

We say:

Looking for a flavour blend with a real punch? This Sour Blueberry Raspberry blend is a must-try!

Unlike many others where the sour note is just a subtle hint, this one takes centre stage, delivering a powerful, tangy kick that dominates every puff.

But I did find that the fruity Blueberry and Raspberry flavour notes aren’t lost in the mix.

Beneath that intense sour layer, I found a fantastic blend of juicy blueberry and sharp, ripe raspberry!

Red Apple Ice

They say:

fresh, sweet red apples with a clean, frosty kick.

We say:

I definitely agree with the description, one of the first thoughts that sprang to mind was how fresh tasting this blend is!

The red apple flavouring is almost like biting into an actual red apple, with a crisp bite. There’s a bit of juiciness to it too, almost like apple juice.

To finish off, there is a subtle cooling hit that refreshes my palate ready for the next puff.

Pro Blue

They say:

a punchy mix of blueberry and raspberry ice.

We say:

Well, with this one the balance seemed really off, which was quite surprising!

I felt that the blueberry vastly overpowered the raspberry flavouring, with the blueberry tasting quite strangely artificial and sharp. I couldn’t really pick up on the raspberry in this pod.

In terms of a cooling element, there wasn’t too much to speak of here. There was a very slight sensation if I drew on the device pretty hard, but other than that it wasn’t really there for me.

Strawberry Raspberry Ice

They say:

Sweet strawberries and tangy raspberries, cooled down with a blast of ice

We say:

I love a strawberry and raspberry blend, and IVG have absolutely nailed this one!

What made this one stand out for me was how authentic the strawberry and raspberry flavours tasted, with the balance of each flavour just about right.

The sweet berry flavouring of the strawberry gives way to the sour tang from the raspberry, and a cooling undertone holds it all together.

Delicious stuff!

Strawberry Watermelon

They say:

juicy strawberries and fresh watermelon blended to perfection

We say:

The star of this blend is definitely the strawberry!

It’s a bold, candied flavour that immediately reminds me of a sweet, chewy candy. This vibrant strawberry is so forward that it pushes the watermelon into the background- thankfully for me as I don’t really like watermelon flavourings!

The watermelon plays a much more subtle role, almost like a supporting character. It’s a faint aftertaste that you’ll notice on the exhale. If you want a powerful, sweet strawberry vape with just a hint of watermelon, this blend is for you.

Watermelon Ice

They say:

clean, crisp watermelon with a chilled exhale

We say:

I’m no fan of watermelon ice flavours at all, there are very few that I get on with at the best of times!

This one didn’t change my opinion on them either.

It’s the generic candied watermelon flavour that is quite sickly sweet too, with a slight chill to it, not really any different from the hundreds of others I have tried out over time!

Tropical Fruits

They say:

a sun-soaked blend of juicy mango, sweet pineapple, and a splash of passionfruit

We say:

This is a refreshing blend that really hit the mark for me.

It’s got three of my favourite fruit flavours in it, so definitely onto a winner here with this tropical fruit combo!

On the inhale I pick up on the mango to start off with, and the pineapple and passionfruit hold that tropical vibe together in the background. Delicious!

Classic Menthol

They say:

a crisp, clean menthol with a fresh, icy breeze.

We say:

This blend fails to deliver on the expected intensity of a menthol vape.

The flavour profile registered as surprisingly subdued, characterized by a generic mint baseline devoid of any notable complexity or impact.

Crucially, the cooling effect was minimal, resulting in a noticeable lack of a characteristic invigorating finish. A stronger menthol hit would have gone a long way here!

Kiwi Passionfruit Guava

They say:

 a tropical trio of tangy kiwi, smooth guava, and sweet passionfruit

We say:

If you’re navigating the transition from disposable vapes following the UK ban, look no further—this Kiwi Passionfruit Guava is engineered for your taste buds!

It perfectly mirrors that sought-after disposable-style intensity, delivering maximum flavour saturation, and also does a good job of mimicking disposable style sweetness too, perhaps a little too sweet for me!

The tropical notes of bright kiwi, tart passionfruit and sweet guava are dialled up to eleven, creating an undeniably punchy and delicious blend that screams summer refreshment.

Lemon & Lime

They say:

sharp, citrusy lemon and lime with a clean finish.

We say:

Prepare for a vibrant tang with this citrus pairing!

The profile immediately evokes the unmistakable taste of lemon and lime confectionery, featuring brilliant bursts of zest elevated by a noticeable, yet controlled, sweetness with a subtle cooling sensation adding an extra layer of complexity.

While noticeably sweeter than some current offerings, the execution remains remarkably well-rounded and IVG deliver a solid lemon and lime combo here.

Grape Ice

They say:

A smooth purple grape flavour with a cool icy finish.

We say:

Over the years, I’ve developed a bit of a love/hate relationship with Grape Ice blends, and unfortunately more often than not I don’t get on with them.

If the blend is on point, then I’ll vape a Grape Ice blend non-stop, but if it isn’t I usually find I end up with a sharp, harsh and artificial tasting experience.

Thankfully, IVG’s blend hits the mark here!

I get an authentic grape flavour here thankfully with just the right level of balance, finished off with a nice, icy note. This is one I puffed through in one day!

Fizzy Cherry

They say:

sweet, tangy cherry meets a fizzy soda finish

We say:

This candied cherry blend hits that sweet spot between rich sweetness and bright tartness flawlessly.

It’s straight-up confectionery euphoria, tasting exactly like intensely flavoured, syrup-drenched cherry candy drops.

A unique, authentic tongue-tingling fizz that brings instant vibrancy and authenticity to the blend. It’s a lively, bubbly vape that keeps you coming back for more.

Cherry Ice

They say:

a sun-soaked blend of juicy mango, sweet pineapple, and a splash of passionfruit

We say:

Whereas other blends in this range boast robust, disposable-like flavour intensity, this one felt distinctly watered down.

The inhale offers only a faint echo of red cherry, notably lacking the thick, rich texture that defines a truly great syrupy cherry flavour.

Crucially, the promised ‘ice’ failed to materialize; the Koolada presence was too weak to deliver the necessary ‘frozen cherry’ impact, resulting in a surprisingly muted vape.

Blue Razz Soda

They say:

tangy blue raspberry with a sparkling soda twist.

We say:

This is another old disposable favourite reinvigorated!

A very sweet and punchy blue raspberry flavouring dominates the blend from beginning to end, and there’s what tastes like a hint of citrus and koolada in the background.

The soda element is a bit flat though, there isn’t really much of a fizz or anything that reminded me of soda to speak of here.

Blue Razz Cherry

They say:

sweet cherries and blue raspberries combined in a bold, fruity blend.

We say:

Blue Razz Cherry is one of my favourites from this range, which is a bit of a surprise for me as it is a flavour profile that I can usually take or leave!

There’s the same blue raspberry flavouring from the Blue Razz Soda, but this time a lashing of cherry is added in and it really suits this blend well.

It made me think of a blue slushy with added cherry!

Blue Raspberry Ice

They say:

clean, crisp blue raspberry with an icy finish.

We say:

This blend showcases a distinctly sharp and punchy blue raspberry profile!

It achieves a remarkable level of flavour saturation, thoroughly coating my palate with an intensely sweet texture. There’s significant juicy depth to the fruit flavouring, making it taste remarkably close to your favourite blue raspberry hard candy.

The icy finish is subtle but blends in well with the blue raspberry, cutting through a bit of the sweetness and refreshing my palate ready for the next puff.

How Does The IVG Reload Mini Perform?

Inside each pod is a mesh coil, and the IVG Reload Mini device has a fixed airflow and power output, which is designed to deliver a mouth to lung vape.

I’ve no qualms with the vape quality at all, it does exactly what it sets out to do, delivering a smooth and satisfying mouth to lung hit with a subtle amount of vapour produced.

The nicotine hit is pretty quick and satisfying as well, thanks to the 20mg nicotine salt strength in the pre-filled pods.

Battery Life

This is a small device with a 500mAh battery built into it, so don’t go expecting multiple days of battery life!

It has been designed to get the average user through a full 2ml pod, which is what I found during use.

I am quite a heavy vaper, so I found that I tended to finish off a full pod before the battery even ran out! A full charge would last me a full pod plus a fair few puffs on a fresh one.

You don’t really have any way of telling how much battery life you have left, as there isn’t a battery level indicator here.

The vape quality just kind of drops off very drastically, getting quite weak, which was my only indication that I needed to charge the device.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An IVG Reload Mini?

Each pod has 2ml of 20mg nicotine salt e-liquid inside, and is designed to offer up to 600 puffs depending on your vaping habits.

Your mileage from each pod will vary depending on how frequently you vape, and how long you draw on the device for.

I found that I could easily get through an entire pod in a day, though I do vape heavily, and I counted 395 puffs from the Cherry Ice one!

Pros

• One of the cheapest reusable pre-filled pod systems that you can buy
• Very quick set up process once you’ve got the hang of removing the mouthpiece
• Perfect option for beginners thanks to the easy set up and mouth to lung vape
• Wide choice of different flavours
• Compact, discreet profile
• Compatible with existing IVG 2400 Reload pods

Cons

• Instructions on the box aren’t too clear when it comes to removing the mouthpiece to insert the pod
• No way of telling when a pod is about to run out
• Very basic kit

Final Verdict

When it comes to developing prefilled pod systems, IVG truly are right up there with the very best, and that is down to not only the quality of the devices, but the excellent flavour quality from the vape.

I would expect that this is due to the expertise that IVG possess in blending and developing e-liquids, so whenever I vape an IVG flavour I know that it will taste exactly how I expect it to.

With the IVG Reload Mini, you’ve got 20 of IVG’s excellent flavours to pick from, and swapping these out is a breeze due to the compatibility with the IVG 2400 Reload prefilled pods. Once you have figured out how to remove the mouthpiece of course!

This has genuine reusability as well thanks to the 2400 Reload pods being widely available online and in bricks and mortar shops, with the built in battery able to be recharged over and over again.

If you are a budget-conscious vaper, or looking to switch to vaping from smoking but don’t want a large initial outlay, then you cant go wrong with an IVG Reload Mini kit, especially when they are available for £5.99 on their website (at the time of writing)!

Design & Build Quality

Fans of small and compact devices can turn away now, as the IVG XL35 is a big old kit- not just in terms of the amount of puffs it delivers but the size of it too!

It is a large and cylindrical device that has some real heft to it in hand, and it is something that you really do notice when popping it into your pocket!

Get prepared for some funny looks if you wear skinny jeans and pop one of these in your pocket…

There’s an aluminium finish, which has a nice colour gradient on it that shines when the sun catches it, giving it a premium look.

In terms of features, IVG keep it basic, there’s a smart screen on the front that displays the battery life as a percentage, and it also shows which output mode is selected- either Eco or Boost. This can be toggled using the button just below the screen.

Above the screen is the IVG logo, and on the opposite side is a QR code which takes you to the product information page on the IVG website and shows you how to set your XL35 kit up- we will detail those simple steps below!

Quick Start Guide

As this is a ‘big puff’ prefilled kit, assembly is required before use so that it remains compliant with the latest TPD regulations in the UK.

To begin with, take the two 10ml refill containers out of the packaging, invert them and remove the red rubber bungs before clicking the two refill containers together. Keep the assembled refill containers upside down for now!

Next up, grab the pod/mouthpiece section and remove the rubber bungs from this as well as the sticker from the base. Then slide this through the centre of the refill containers until all the parts securely click together.

Finally, flip the assembled unit together and attach it to the XL35 device, this attaches magnetically for ease of use.

Once you have done all of that, just take a puff on the mouthpiece to vape!

You can switch between Eco and Boost modes by pushing the button underneath the screen, Eco mode lowers the intensity of the vape and reduces power consumption as a result. Boost mode ups the intensity and provides a stronger vape, maximising the 18W output of the kit!

Just to note- there is quite a lot of waste produced during the set up process thanks to the rubber bungs and the packaging, which is an unfortunate by-product of having a kit that is compliant with the latest regulations.

Charging

As this is a reusable kit, you can recharge the 1100mAh battery.

At the base of the device is a Type-C charging port, so you just need a compatible Type-C charging cable and a suitable power outlet.

Charging time isn’t the quickest however, especially if you are charging off of your laptop or PC for example, it can take around an hour for a full charge.

Flavours

IVG have drawn on their vast experience when developing e-liquid flavours, as a result the XL35 range features IVG’s premium quality e-liquid, which makes their prefilled pod systems a step above many others when it comes to flavour quality!

15 flavours make up the XL35 range, all of them fruit blends (bar Classic Menthol), and refill packs can be purchased separately.

I got the full range through for review so here are my thoughts on the flavours!

Pink Lemonade

If you’re looking for a bold and bubbly Pink Lemonade blend, this is it!

It features an assertive lemonade that takes centre stage, with a subtle red berry note peeking through to offer support.

The sweetness is cranked up, making this a perfect choice for those who love a sugary pink lemonade blend. However, it might be a bit too sweet for some palates.

What really sets this one apart is the powerful fizziness. It’s more than just a hint of carbonation; it’s an intense, tingling sensation that makes you feel like you’re vaping a fizzy drink.

The fizz is so pronounced you might even feel it in your cheeks—a truly unique experience!

Strawberry Ice

Looking for an authentic strawberry flavour? Well this one is a winner!

It’s clear that IVG aimed to recreate the taste of a real, ripe strawberry, and they came incredibly close.

The result is an e-liquid that’s remarkably true to the fruit, capturing the flavour of a fresh strawberry without being overly sweet. While a little extra sweetness would have made it perfect for my taste, the sheer authenticity of the flavour is what truly sets it apart.

The cooling effect from the koolada is subtle, but that just puts the spotlight on the fantastic, genuine strawberry experience.

Peach Ice

Peach Ice captures the sweet, syrupy flavour of tinned peaches, a taste reminiscent of my childhood!

The rich, thick and syrupy sweetness of the texture gives it an authentic feel, perfectly replicating the experience of that classic treat- well it was a classic treat for me anyway!

But this isn’t just a trip down memory lane. The blend finishes with a crisp, refreshing cooling note on the exhale, balancing the sweetness and leaving my palate feeling clean and revitalised.

It’s a perfect blend of rich, sweet peach and a cool finish, making it an ideal all-day vape and my pick out of the range!

Guava Pineapple Passionfruit

This is a flavour combination that really stands out for me!

Unfortunately, Guava Pineapple Passionfruit fell a bit flat for me. I thought that the Guava was too strong and overpowered the Pineapple and Passionfruit flavour notes- both of which I could hardly pick up on.

I also got a really sharp taste from it too which I didn’t find enjoyable.

However, I gave this one to my wife (who loves IVG kits) and she really enjoyed it, saying that she felt it was well-balanced and a tasty, exotic vape so it just goes to show that everyone’s tastes are different.

Cherry Peach Lemon

Now I’ve tried a lot of different flavours from IVG, but a Cherry Peach Lemon blend is a first!

I get a thick, rich red cherry flavour to begin with and this is the most noticeable flavour throughout, being stronger than the peach and lemon notes.

The peach is more of a background note here, and the lemon comes in at the end to give this blend a sharp and sour finish.

Classic Menthol

Looking for a powerful menthol hit?

Well unfortunately this one might not be for you.

I found the flavour to be quite flat and underwhelming, with a generic mint taste that lacked any real punch. The cooling effect was barely there, leaving me wanting more.

It feels like the flavour could have been much stronger to give it that refreshing kick you’d expect from a menthol blend.

Fizzy Cherry

This candied cherry blend delivers a dazzling experience that perfectly balances sweetness and tartness.

While it’s a bit sweeter than some other versions I’ve tried recently, this blend still delivers a well-balanced and satisfying vape. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a simple, sweet, and tangy flavour that’s hard to put down.

Retro Grape

I was ready for another one of those artificial, candy-like grape blends, but this one completely caught me off guard!

It’s a genuine surprise, delivering a deep, authentic grape flavour that tastes like the real fruit, not a soda styled blend.

The profile is rich and full-bodied, with just the right amount of tang and a whisper of sweetness. The cooling sensation is also a pleasant surprise—it’s not a blast of ice but a gentle, subtle chill that perfectly complements the fruit.

Blue Raspberry Ice

This Blue Sour Raspberry blend is a masterpiece.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry

Green Apple

As an apple fan, I can tell you this blend is a knockout. It’s got a zesty, tangy kick that tastes like a real, fresh-from-the-orchard apple. Every puff is like taking a bite into a crisp, juicy fruit.

IVG really do know how to blend an excellent Pineapple Ice vape and you can really taste the quality in the XL35 version!

This one does standout in a crowded market. Unlike many other brands that lean into a candy-like sweetness, IVG’s version captures the authentic, juicy flavour of real pineapple juice. It’s a taste that’s both natural and refreshing.

The flavour starts with a subtle sweetness that grows as you vape, complemented by a cool, icy undertone. As you exhale, that chill becomes more pronounced, leaving you with a crisp, clean finish.

If you’re a fan of a cool pineapple vape, this is a blend you have to try!

How Does The IVG XL35 Perform?

Inside each pod is a 1.1ohm Dual Mesh Coil set up, and the airflow is fixed on the IVG XL35 to deliver a smooth, mouth to lung vape. The IVG XL35 is also capable of a power output up to 18W.

There are two power output modes available on the XL35. Eco Mode provides a slightly less intense vape, and as it uses less power you get more battery life as a result.

Boost mode makes use of that 18W power output to deliver a stronger and warmer vape, with more cloud production too. Though battery life will take a hit due to the increased power.

I did prefer the more intense vape that I got from Boost mode, but that is more suited to my style!

Each pod is prefilled with 20mg nicotine salt and I got a good, satisfying nicotine hit especially when using Boost mode.

Battery Life

The XL35 delivers here with the built in 1100mAh battery, and it is easy to check on the battery life thanks to it being displayed on the screen.

This provides all day battery life, I’ve had no issues with taking one of these out with me for the day, and battery life can be extended further by switching over to Eco mode which gives you an extra couple of hours.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An IVG XL35?

With the XL35, there’s a massive 22ml of e-liquid thanks to the two 10ml refill containers and the 2ml pod, with IVG stating that each kit is capable of providing up to 35,000 puffs before it needs to be changed!

Of course, this will depend on factors such as how frequently you vape, how long you draw on the device for and whether you are using Eco or Boost modes.

With the Peach Ice XL35, I used this almost exclusively in Boost mode (with the odd usage of Eco mode when my battery started to run low) and took quite long draws, I got a total of 14,663 puffs.

I would expect that you will get far more puffs if you exclusively use Eco mode, which will get you closer to the 35,000 puff figure provided by IVG. If you have this device and vape Eco mode only, let us know how many puffs you are getting!

Final Verdict

IVG have established themselves at the top of the game when it comes to TPD compliant ‘big puff’ prefilled pod systems, and the XL35 is another great addition to their already stellar line up.

One aspect that has driven their rise to the top is the ease of the set up process with their pod systems, making them accessible and appealing to beginners, and you can get an XL35 set up in under a minute.

Another aspect is the quality of the flavours that they provide, IVG draw on their vast experience they have gained from producing top notch e-liquids, and you can really taste the quality as a result.

There’s also a wide range of different flavours to choose from, plus if you purchase spare refill packs you can easily swap flavours in and out.

Finally, they offer great value for money too, with a lot of puffs from each kit! Refill packs are widely available too, so you can continue to use your original device without having to shell out for a brand new one.

Design & Build Quality

The IVG Pro sports a pebble shaped design that will be familiar to many, with rounded edges to ensure that the device sits nicely in hand.

It’s quite an eye-catching little device, with a sleek metallic finish, the ‘IVG’ ‘PRO’ and ‘I Vape Great’ logos are featured prominently on the body of the kit along with a QR code that takes you to a handy set-up video.

There’s a notch cut out at the top of the device that is designed to let you see which flavour you are presently using, and to check the current e-liquid level.

Although the pods are quite dark and it’s pretty hard to see exactly how much e-liquid you have left without fully removing the pod.

You do need to assemble the pod first, which we will go into in more detail in the ‘Quick Start Guide’, once assembled the pod slots into the device nicely. A duckbill shaped mouthpiece is present on the pod that boasts a fairly sizeable bore.

On the front of the device is a small, basic digital screen that allows you to check the level of the built in 1000mAh battery at a glance, a charging port is located just off to the side of this.

All in all, this is a pretty solidly built little kit, it definitely does the job for the money you’ll pay for it!

Quick Start Guide

As the IVG Pro is a big puff pod kit, you will need to assemble the 2ml prefilled pod and 10ml prefilled refill container before you use it.

Start off by removing the label and the rubber stoppers, before aligning the pod and refill container connectors.

Once aligned, push the pod and refill container together until they click. Then insert the pod and refill container combo into the IVG Pro device. You are now ready to vape away!

The IVG Pro uses an auto draw system so simply take a puff on the mouthpiece to fire the device.

Charging

USB-C charging is present and correct on the IVG Pro, with the charging port located on the side of the device. No charging cable is included so you will need to supply your own.

Simply plug the USB-C cable into the charging port to charge the IVG Pro, the charging status will be displayed on the digital screen whilst the device is on charge.

Flavours

15 of IVGs most popular flavours are available as part of the IVG Pro range, and all 15 flavours are available as part of the refill kits that you can purchase separately.

This is great as it gives you the opportunity to try a different flavour without purchasing a whole new device once you’ve vaped through your original pod, or you can switch flavours as you see fit.

These were all recently sent over to me to test out, and I’ve added my thoughts on them below…

Please do bear in mind that these are unreleased versions and they came in non-descript, unbranded packaging, hence the lack of images! Flavour descriptions from IVG themselves are not yet available.

Red Sour Raspberry

They say

Sweet, juicy and tangy raspberries with a striking sour kick for an irresistibly tart fruit experience

We say

Now this one hit the spot for me right from the off, with a wave of strong and delicious raspberry flavour washing over my palate.

IVG aren’t holding back on the raspberry flavour here at all, you can really taste the raspberry notes throughout, as if you had a mouthful of the fruits themselves!

This is quite a sweet blend, the sour notes do cut through it slightly but not quite enough to take the edge off of the strong sweetener.

Blue Sour Raspberry

They say

Experience sweet fruits with a sour twist. Tart raspberries infused with sweet juicy blueberries

We say

On the inhale, the first flavour note that I pick up on is the bright, tart blue raspberry, then this is tempered by a whisper of blueberry’s soft sweetness.

There’s a cooling presence lingering in the background, before a delightful, sharp twist cuts in along with a subtle sour note.

The sweetness, which has actually been balanced pretty well, acts as a spotlight allowing the genuine fruit notes to emerge, unmarred by artificial excess sweetener.

Kiwi Passionfruit Guava

They say

A true taste of the tropics with this medley of ripe kiwis, tangy passionfruit, and rich guava.

We say

Whilst puffing away on this I couldn’t help but feel that it tasted pretty identical to the blend in the IVG SAVR version that I reviewed recently.

In fact, I actually had some leftover in the IVG SAVR version, so I tried them out side by side and yep it is virtually identical!

What you get here is a very well balanced blend of passion fruit and kiwi, with neither flavour overpowering the other, and a background note of guava adding some complexity. The fruits taste authentic too which is something I always like.

Lemon Lime

They say

Bright citrusy lemons with a sweet twist followed by the aromatic zest of fresh lime.

We say

Again, this one is very, very similar to the blend I tried out in the recent IVG SAVR review.

So, what you get here is a well balanced, fruity lemon lime blend that tastes more like lemon and lime sweets rather than a lemon and lime ice pop. Just like a mouthful of Starburst sweets!

I’d say this one is just a touch sweeter than the IVG SAVR version, and I feel that a pretty strong hit of koolada wouldn’t have gone amiss here.

Still, this is a solid lemon and lime blend that you won’t go wrong with.

Fresh Menthol Mojito

They say

Fresh menthol with a crisp mojito twist that’s both sweet and sour!

We say

I was so pleased to see that Fresh Menthol Mojito made the IVG Pro line-up, as this is one of my favourite flavours from IVG!

Menthol is a very prominent note on the inhale, with what almost tastes like a hint of aniseed in the background, complimenting the menthol very well I must say. I actually can’t really stand aniseed flavour but it’s not strong enough here to be offensive to me!

The cooling effect here is quite strong and pleasant, and the blend is completed with a thick syrupy sweet note that coats my mouth.

This is actually pretty close to the taste of an actual mojito, one of my favourite cocktails. Delicious stuff!

Fizzy Strawberry

They say

Sweet, sun-ripened strawberries infused with a bubbly, fizzy twist for a refreshing sensation.

We say

Fizzy Strawberry features a strawberry flavouring that tastes much like a Chewit sweet– a hallmark of strawberry flavours from IVG whenever I have vaped them!

There’s quite a thick mouthfeel to this too which only enhances the feel of a strawberry chewit sweet, and this wasn’t as sweet as I was initially expecting it to be.

Also, there’s definitely a discernible fizz to this too, which I pick up on at the tip of my tongue, fizz is something I always struggle to pick up on in ‘fizzy’ blends so I’m pleased to actually notice it here.

Pineapple Ice

They say

A luscious burst of ripe pineapple paired with a frosty kick, offering a delightful fusion of tropical sweetness and refreshing chill.

We say

I’ve tried quite a few Pineapple Ice blends from IVG, with this one being very similar to the others.

That is no bad thing, as IVG do one of my favourite versions of Pineapple Ice, which is a little different to the pineapple sweet styled flavour that is quite commonly found.

Their take is more like a pineapple juice styled flavour, with an undertone of sweetness, and a cool undertone that gets even stronger towards the exhale.

If you are a pineapple ice fan then I can wholeheartedly recommend this one!

Double Mango

They say

The rich luscious taste of sweet ripe mangos, delivers the ultimate tropical treat.

We say

I’ve always got time for a good mango vape and the IVG Pro version is one I happily puffed through pretty quickly!

I like my mango blends quite full flavoured, and this version most certainly is.

There’s no let up on the mango flavour right from the start, with plenty of sweetener present in the background.

I would have liked a bit of a strong cooling note to this, but it does a great job at letting the actual fruit flavouring shine…aided with a hefty dollop of sweetener!

Banana Ice

We say

There’s no mistaking this, it smelt HEAVILY of banana foam sweet just taking it out of the packaging!

Now, that isn’t normally a flavour that I would enjoy, so I definitely approached this with a sense of trepidation.

At first, I got the taste of banana foam sweet, but then an unexpected creaminess kicks in and actually cuts down on the foam sweet texture.

A subtle koolada kick comes in at the end, one that isn’t too overpowering yet it is still definitely noticeable.

I would say that this one tasted a bit more like a cold banana custard type of flavour, dare I say that this is a ‘Banana Ice’ that I actually quite enjoyed!

Fizzy Orange

We say

This I found to be absolutely outstanding right from the get go.

It has a punchy, orange soda vibe all the way through it, with no let up on flavour and lots of delightful fizziness and sweetness to it.

I love how tangy the orange flavouring is as well, I find it to be very sharp and zingy but not overwhelmingly so.

Fizzy Orange is right up there with Fresh Menthol Mojito as my favourites from the IVG Pro range!

Fresh Mint

We say

I was reminded of the mint flavouring present in the Fresh Menthol Mojito whilst vaping this.

Unsurprisingly, mint takes centre stage here, though I felt that this had just a touch too much sweetener, making the sweetness almost overwhelm the mint flavouring.

As for the mint flavouring itself, IVG do a great job of replicating a mint flavour here, with a delicious crisp flavour, it could just do with a little less sweetener for me!

Tobacco

We say

Ok forget the Fresh Menthol Mojito and Fizzy Orange, this is my favourite IVG Pro refill and arguably my favourite pre-filled pod flavour that I have tried to date!

I was really taken aback here, this most definitely is not your usual pre-filled bog standard tobacco flavour.

I went into this expecting an earthy, rich tobacco as per the pre-filleds that I have tried in the past, but I couldn’t have been more wrong!

This actually reminded me more of the Vanilla Biscuit IVG Intense Salt e-liquid that I tried out recently. There’s a heavy, creamy vanilla bean note to it and a biscuit/tobacco blend in the background.

Tobacco seems to be more of a lighter, slightly earthy background note letting the creaminess take centre stage.

Absolutely phenomenal stuff, I will be ordering more of this!

Double Apple

We say

Well, what is better than a single apple…two of course!

It’s a red apple flavour blended with a green one, I would say that the red comes through slightly stronger with the green acting as more of an undertone and coming in stronger at the end.

As expected from a blend of two apple flavourings, this is pretty crisp and sharp, though it also doesn’t hold back on the sweetness either. A very refreshing blend!

Blueberry Mint

We say

Now, this one definitely goes heavy on the blueberry.

Right from the inhale there’s an avalanche of very sweet blueberry flavouring, almost like having a mouthful of blueberries!

In terms of the mint, this definitely takes a big backseat to the blueberry.

I wasn’t really picking up on much mint flavouring, other than a slight minty tingle to the aftertaste. Still, it is a pretty pleasant vape!

Mixed Berry

We say

I predominantly get strong blueberry and raspberry flavours here, with a hefty dollop of sweetener thrown into the blend.

In all honesty, I wasn’t really getting much else from this other than those two flavours, so not sure if there are others present in the mix to find!

It is a nice combination of blueberry and raspberry, that blends pretty well, so if you are a fan of those two then you won’t go wrong with this.

Sour Cherry Watermelon

We say

This had strong artificial cherry and watermelon notes to it, which I did find a little off putting, especially as I don’t particularly like watermelon flavouring.

There was a bit of a chemical aftertaste to this one too which I found to be unpleasant.

I didn’t think there was all that much in the way of a sour note here, though I do tend to struggle to pick up on sourness unless it is pretty full on.

Blue Razz Retro

We say

Well the name alone had me intrigued, especially with no flavour description to go off of beforehand!

I had no idea what the ‘Retro’ would entail!

So, what I got was a very strong candied blue raspberry flavour, absolutely packed with sweetness, with a little chill at the end too.

It’s like a combination of a candy and slushy flavour at the same time.

This one is one of the strongest tasting and sweetest flavours out of the range, so if you have a sweet tooth you will love this!

Strawberry Kiwi

We say

Oooh, this is a very full flavoured strawberry and kiwi blend! It is almost disposable like in how strong and sweet it is, which is a little too sweet for me to vape for extended periods of time!

On the inhale I get an authentic tasting strawberry first, before the kiwi comes in and becomes more prominent on the exhale.

I get a good combination of sweet and sour notes from the strawberry and kiwi flavours, which do combine very well together.

Raspberry Blast

We say

I like that this is a little different to the usual raspberry flavours that I have gotten used to.

Much like the others, this is a real strong and punchy flavour, with a natural sourness from the raspberry, plenty of sweetness as expected, and a little hint of fizz and a cooling sensation right at the end.

There’s definitely a blast of raspberry to enjoy here!

Green Fruits

We say

When I took the pod out of the box there was a strong scent of honeydew melon, which is a flavour that I really enjoy.

Having no flavour description to go off of, I was hoping that there would be plenty of delicious honeydew melon flavour!

And I was not disappointed here, as this is the strongest flavour present without a doubt.

There’s a lot else to discover here too, as I picked up on notes of kiwi, lime and green apple. All of which blend in beautifully with the honeydew melon.

A delicious blend of green fruit flavours!

Cherry Ice

We say

I’ve tried many Cherry Ice flavours from IVG in the past and this one is pretty damn similar to the others!

So what I get here is a thick, syrupy dark cherry flavour here with a little sharp note to it.

The menthol is a little dulled, though it does come in stronger on the exhale, but fans of strong menthol notes will be a little disappointed here.

Peach Ice

We say

This has a lovely peach flavouring to it that is very reminiscent of tinned peaches, which I used to love eating as a child!

It has a sweet, syrupy thickness to it which just adds to that vibe, with a nice and refreshing cooling note right at the end.

Grape Ice

We say

I braced myself for an artificial, grape soda-like taste, but to my pleasant surprise, this grape flavour genuinely captured the essence of the fruit itself.

It’s a deep, rich grape, complemented by a subtle tang and a touch of sweetness, resulting in a remarkably authentic and well-executed profile. While I anticipated a strong icy kick, the cooling sensation here is more of a gentle, understated chill.

How Does The IVG Pro Perform?

I couldn’t find the resistance of the coil, only that each pod features ‘advanced mesh coil technology’!

The IVG Pro has been designed for mouth to lung vaping, with fixed airflow, yet this is quite a loose mouth to lung draw. Definitely no cheek suckingly tight MTL hit to be found here!

There’s actually quite a powerful vape here, especially for a device like this, yet the flavour delivery still remains smooth with a satisfying nicotine hit present and plenty of vapour too.

Battery Life

Boasting a 1000mAh battery, the IVG Pro features some of the best battery life you’ll find on a pre-filled big puff pod system.

Even with my chain vaping habits, one of these would easily last me a whole day, in fact I quite often wouldn’t need to charge it until well into a second day!

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An IVG Pro?

Each IVG Pro has a total of 12ml worth of e-liquid, thanks to the prefilled 2ml pod and 10ml refill container.

IVG state that you can get up to 10,000 puffs from one of these, but they are quite clear on their website that puff counts are approximate and longer draws will lower the puff count, which I like to see.

I tend to draw for an average of 2-4 seconds each time, which will lower my puff count. When using the Double Mango IVG Pro, I found that I got a total of 5,367 puffs, which is still quite an impressive amount of vaping for under £11!

What Can We Expect From The IVG Intense Salts Range?

IVG have formulated the Intense Salts collection to be a premium and smooth range of e-liquids that maximises the flavour and minimises the throat hit, all of them expertly blended for a satisfying taste each and every time.

There are thirty, yes thirty, different flavours available in the Intense Salts range, which spans fruity and fresh flavours, menthol and minty blends, sodas and there’s even a dessert style mix to be found in the range too!

As you may expect from the name, these are formulated using nicotine salt to eliminate throat hit and deliver long-lasting, nicotine craving satisfaction. The full range is available in 10ml bottles and is mixed to a 50/50 PG/VG ratio, with 10mg and 20mg strengths.

IVG kindly sent me the full range of IVG Intense Salts e-liquids in a mixture of 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt strengths, so I used my OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA Version (review coming soon!) with the 0.6ohm pod at 24W to vape these.

As there are so many e-liquids to cover here, we will initially cover ten of them then gradually add to the review over the following weeks with the rest of the flavours.

Blue Razz Lemonade

They say:

“Tangy blue raspberry and crisp lemonade combined for a vibrant refreshing flavour”

We say:

One of the flavour notes that really gets turned up a notch here is the lemonade flavouring, I can really taste the tang and zest of the citrus from start to finish when vaping this blend.

The blue raspberry flavouring seems to be more of a background note, but it is woven into the blend very well, adding a sweet and sour note to the crisp citrus from the lemonade.

Really enjoyable blend, in fact I would go as far as saying that this is one of the best Blue Razz Lemonades around.

Retro Cola

They say:

“Classic cola flavour with a sweet, fizzy kick for a touch of nostalgia”

We say:

I’ve sampled many a cola flavour from IVG in the past, and trust me when I say that these guys are real experts at serving up a cola e-liquid!

Cola can be a bit of a tough one to get right but IVG manage to expertly nail it. Plus, with the intensity of this stronger flavoured blend, it just tastes even richer and more satisfying.

Rather than tasting like a cola sweet, this is more reminiscent of a supermarket bought cola, with all the right notes present and plenty of sweetener to back it up.

The light fizz that I detect at the end, which just fizzes away slightly on the tip of my tongue, is just the icing on the cake and adds another layer of authenticity to this blend.

Vanilla Biscuit

They say:

“A classic biscuit taste complimented with a smooth custard filling, tasty enough to enjoy with a cup of tea”

We say:

As a dessert flavour aficionado, I was both surprised and delighted to see the inclusion of this flavour in the Intense Salts range!

From the first puff I was utterly hooked on this. After reading the description, I was expecting a custard cream type of flavour, but the reality was a little different.

There’s lashings of smooth vanilla flavouring, with a rich vanilla bean note, and it’s so creamy that it actually gave me the texture and mouthfeel of vanilla ice cream.

Biscuit notes are nice and subtle, I do find that stronger biscuit flavourings can be a little harsh, but not so here. This blends perfectly with the vanilla flavouring, with a light biscuit texture.

Absolutely marvellous, easily an all day vape for me!

Spearmint

They say:

“Cool and crisp with a refreshing sweetness and a smooth, minty finish”

We say:

Usually I’ll complain about there not being enough of a chilly blast when I try out a new spearmint flavour, not so here!

Now, this is intense and definitely lives up to the Intense Salts name!

There’s a lovely minty vibe from inhale to exhale, this is definitely cool and crisp, with the sweetness I would expect from a minty sweet.

And the chill here is absolutely spot on for me, there’s a very robust hit of menthol that brings a very satisfying chilly hit for me.

Banana Ice

They say:

“A smooth, rich and sweet banana flavour blended with cooling ice”

We say:

I have never felt that banana and koolada/menthol go together and I am yet to try an e-liquid that has changed my mind.

Unfortunately this is no different!

It does just taste the same as a lot of the others that I have tried, only a bit stronger.

I was hoping for authentic tasting banana but I got the dreaded (for me) banana foam sweet taste, which is just too strong for me.

The icy chill at the end helps to do away with a bit of that but unfortunately I just did not get on with this at all.

Grape Ice

They say:

“The rich taste of ripe, bold grapes combined with an icy blast for an ultimate refreshment”

We say:

Well, I did expect an artificial, grape soda styled flavour here but actually I got a grape flavouring that tasted more like the fruit itself.

It’s a dark grape flavour, backed up with a note of sourness and a layer of sweetener, and it is done quite well, tasting pretty authentic.

I was expecting an icy blast but unfortunately I didn’t really get much in the way of that, there’s more of a subtle chill present.

I will say that my wife did enjoy this blend, she does absolutely love a grape flavour, so grape fiends will probably enjoy this!

Retro Orange

They say:

“Bold and zesty orange with a nostalgic flavour paired with a sweet finish”

We say:

This is an absolute winner!

It harks back to the days, years back, when nicotine salt e-liquids were in their infancy in the UK and a certain US based e-liquid company bought out an orange flavoured nicotine salt e-liquid that people went absolutely wild for.

I know I certainly did that is for sure!

This harks back to those days and tastes very much like that infamous e-liquid. It reminds me of a Florida-styled orange juice, capturing the strong citrus zest but still delivering a smooth, orange juice-styled e-liquid. I would say that IVG have actually emulated and bettered it here.

So, in a way, this is a bit retro!

Triple Mango

They say:

“Three types of sweet, luscious mangoes combined to create a bold tropical experience”

We say:

I was a big fan of Double Mango from the IVG Pro range, does tripling the mango make for an even better experience?

Why yes, yes it does.

There’s even MORE mango here, this is mango flavouring with the dial turned up to 11!

I’m not detecting different types of mango flavours in this blend, rather this is a single mango flavouring that tastes very full on.

It’s very sweet too, much like the Malaysian-styled blends of a couple of years back.

Sour Green Apple

They say:

“A mixture of zesty and tangy apples to create a spectacular sour sensation”

We say:

I’m a sucker for a good apple blend and this is an absolutely great one!

It’s definitely zesty and tangy, with the authentic apple flavouring featuring a nice crisp finish to it, and it tastes almost juicy too, much like biting into a fresh apple.

The sourness really rounds this one off perfectly, it isn’t so sour that it makes my face pucker, but I can definitely detect that it is there, coating my tongue in a delicious sour layer.

It is much like a sour sweet!

Frozen Cherries

They say:

“Indulge in a combination of freshly handpicked red cherries, splashed with a blast of crushed ice, giving you a sweet and icy burst of flavour”

We say:

I felt that this one was a little subdued.

Whereas the others have quite a robust and intense flavour to them, this one actually felt quite weak in comparison.

There’s a smattering of red cherry flavouring on the inhale, which doesn’t quite have the thickness or the syrupy texture of some of the IVG cherry flavours that I have tried in the past.

The ‘ice’ element to this e-liquid is disappointingly subtle, I felt that to give it more of a frozen cherry feel the koolada needed to be strong, but ultimately it failed to deliver here.

It’s not a bad flavour at all, it could just do with being a little more ‘intense’!

Riberry Lemonade

They say:

“A perfect blend of crushed blackcurrants and wild berries paired with refreshing lemonade, an extremely satisfying taste”

We say:

This one I found to be incredibly delicious and moreish, so much so that my bottle of it barely lasted me two days!

This has a dominant blackcurrant flavour, that is strong and pronounced on the inhale, and there’s just a hint of a mixed berry flavour as an undertone. This was much like a blackcurrant squash, with sweet notes and a slight sharpness to it as well.

Lemonade blends in with the blackcurrant nicely, elevating the sharpness from the blackcurrant and adding a lovely citrus note that doesn’t feel out of place in the slightest.

Reminds me of one of my favourite combinations when I was a child, blending Ribena with cold lemonade!

Strawberry Sensation

They say:

“A delicious mix of fresh strawberries with a cool sensation for a perfect fruity treat”

We say:

Sensation? This is actually a pretty sensational strawberry flavour!

To me, this felt like IVG had set out to recreate the flavour of an actual strawberry, and they did a damn good job of doing so here.

The end result is an e-liquid that gets pretty damn close to tasting like having a bite out of an actual strawberry, it just needed a touch more sweetener in my opinion. But, that being said, there aren’t many other e-liquids that I have tried that are as authentic tasting as this one.

I didn’t get much in the way of a ‘cool sensation’ but I did get a pretty sensational strawberry vape here!

Forest Berries Ice

They say:

“A distinguished blend of natural dark blackberries with hints of blackcurrant and red currants brightened up with a sweet burst of red cherries”

We say:

This blend was a bit of a miss for me.

I just got a really sharp red currant flavour from it, the blackcurrant and blackberries were nowhere to be found, it was just too sharp and sour for my tastebuds.

I even switched to a fresh pod and lowered the power settings and I still could not get anything other than strong redcurrant flavouring here.

The ice was completely lacking as well- I didn’t get any cooling sensation from this e-liquid at all!

Blue

They say:

“A burst of nostalgic sweetness with a smooth, fruity twist”

We say:

So, as part of this range, there’s a Blue and there’s a Pro Blue.

Essentially, one has an icy kick, and the other does not!

I found that the standard Blue flavour was the sweeter one out of the two, but other than that, there’s not a lot to separate them.

Blue is a blend of raspberry and blueberry, with raspberry being the most dominant flavour. There’s quite a sour note to this one, with a sweet undertone running throughout.

It’s a very easy-going mixed berry blend!

Pro Blue

They say:

“Deliciously sweet and sharp raspberry flavours mixed with fresh blueberry and finished with an icy kick”

We say:

Pro Blue takes the raspberry and blueberry blend used in Blue, and chucks in some koolada to give it an icy finish.

The flavour profile is almost identical to Blue, though it tastes a touch less sweeter and a little bit less sour than Blue does.

I would say that this is in part to the koolada taking the edge off the sweet and sour notes, there’s a decent level of koolada present but not so much so that it chills you to the bones.

Out of Blue and Pro Blue, Pro Blue was my favourite thanks to the icy finish!

Blue Raspberry

They say:

“Tangy blue raspberry and crisp lemonade combined for a vibrant refreshing flavour”

We say:

And whilst we are on a bit of a ‘blue’ kick, let’s take a look at Blue Raspberry!

This features a pretty sharp and punchy blue raspberry flavour, that coated my mouth with a very sweet texture, there’s a fair bit of juicy depth to the blue raspberry flavouring here.

Much like a blue raspberry flavoured sweet!

Lemonade then sweeps in and adds some nice tangy citrus to contrast with the blue raspberry flavouring.

I found this to be a nice little blend to toot away on in my garden whilst the sun is out!

Blue Sour Raspberry

They say:

“Experience sweet fruits with a sour twist. Tart raspberries infused with sweet juicy blueberries”

We say:

Oh, another ‘blue’ flavour?!

The fourth ‘blue’ flavour in the Intense Salts range is a superb take on Blue Sour Raspberry. It’s very well rounded and IVG have done a great job with the blending here.

Raspberry is blended beautifully with a thick, almost jam-like blueberry flavouring and both flavours are very prominent throughout.

There’s a lot of sweetness present and a tasty sour finish that leaves the tip of my tongue tingling.

This was my favourite out of the ‘blues’!

Strawberry Watermelon

They say:

“Mouth-watering strawberries and watermelon combined for the perfect burst of juiciness”

We say:

I’m not the biggest fan of strawberry watermelon flavours as it is and an ‘intense’ version just doesn’t appeal to me at all.

This blend had too much flavouring in it, both the strawberry and watermelon flavours tasted very artificial and weirdly sharp, which was very off-putting for my tastebuds.

No thank you, not for me!

Kiwi Passion Guava

They say:

“Ripe kiwis, tangy passionfruit, and rich guava creates a true taste of the tropics”

We say:

This blend has been a longstanding favourite amongst disposable vape users and if you have just switched over from a disposable vape to a refillable pod system after the recent ban in the UK, then this blend will be right up your street!

I’ve vaped many a Kiwi Passionfruit Guava blend and I’ve felt that some of the best ones that I have tried have been the stronger flavoured ones.

It feels very much like a disposable-styled blend, with the flavouring turned right up to the max.

The kiwi, passionfruit and guava notes really pop here to provide a delicious tropical blend that is ideal for summer!

Fizzy Cherry

They say:

“Tangy cherries infused with a hint of fizz, creating a refreshing and moreish flavour”

We say:

Much like the Frozen Cherries flavour, the cherry flavouring in this blend is a little bit flat.

It features a very generic cherry flavouring, with what seems like a hint of koolada in the background, but there’s no fizz that I could pick up on at all.

Historically, I have always struggled to pick up on fizzy notes though so it could be me!

Strawberry Kiwi

They say:

“Sweet strawberries and vibrant kiwis for a fruity flavour experience”

We say:

This one was another disposable vape favourite and here you get a disposable vape-like experience with a lot of flavour present!

It’s quite full on right from the off, as I inhale I get hit with the authentic tasting sweet strawberry flavour which then gives way to a crisp and sour kiwi.

Sweet and sour notes are present thanks to the strawberry and kiwi flavours, and these are two that have always historically paired well together.

Summer Blaze

They say:

“Sicilian style cool lemonade, infused with mixed summer berries”

We say:

It does feel a little bit apt to be writing this in 24 degree heat at the moment, it certainly feels like there is a blaze in my lounge right now!

And this is actually a great blend to vape in this heat.

The Sicilian Lemonade flavouring brings a sharp citrus note and it is slightly more bitter than your usual regular lemonade flavouring.

It pairs really well with the mixed berry flavour, adding a nice, refreshing contrast and a slightly complex vape that seems to deliver something a little different with each puff.

Watermelon Ice

They say:

“Luscious watermelon blended with an icy kick to deliver a sweet, icy delight”

We say:

And we come to my nemesis…watermelon ice!

Historically watermelon ice is amongst my least favourite blends to try out, however I do give each one the benefit of the doubt before trying them as there have been a couple that I didn’t mind!

This isn’t one that I would vape again, though I’m sure people who enjoy watermelon ice e-liquids will really love this one.

It has a very strong tasting watermelon flavour, that tastes like a watermelon candy. Unfortunately the ‘Ice’ element isn’t quite up to scratch, I found it to be far too subtle when I could have done with it taking some of the edge off of the strong watermelon flavouring!

Final Review Verdict

One thing that I love about IVG e-liquids is that I always know what I am getting. They don’t go too over the top with their flavour descriptions, and the e-liquids tend to taste exactly how I expect them to.

Intense Salts takes some absolutely classic flavours, turns up the flavour and delivers an exceptional, premium vaping experience at a price that doesn’t hurt your wallet!

And there’s a massive range of flavours to pick from in this range, the large choice of different flavours will appeal to just about everyone, including dessert heads like myself thanks to the Vanilla Biscuit!

These are a great match for a refillable vape pod system, and if you are making the switch over to a refillable from a disposable ahead of the impeding disposable vape ban in the UK, then you won’t go wrong with this range.

There’s definitely a ton of intense flavour here that you wouldn’t get from a disposable vape!

The SAVR range has been designed to be a sustainable option. Reducing waste with durable build quality, a rechargeable 650 mAh battery and the ability to purchase refill packs so you can keep hold of your original device once the e-liquid has run out and even change the flavour.

You can expect to get up to 3000 puffs from each one, offering a smarter and greener alternative to disposable vapes.

These contain nicotine salt, offering a fast-acting nicotine hit without any harsh throat hit present. The 1.1ohm mesh coil ensures that you get to enjoy smooth flavour with every puff.

Design & Build Quality

So, what we have here is a small, boxed-shape device that comes in a few different colours depending on which flavour you have opted for.

The IVG SAVR measures 82mm x 43mm x 23mm and weighs 58g with the pod and refill container inserted. This actually feels quite lightweight in the hand and I would definitely say that this is a pocket-friendly kit.

With the pod and refill container inserted into the device, you do actually need to remove it if you want to check how much e-liquid you have left in the pod, but you can’t actually check how much is left in the refill container.

For the price, I can’t have any complaints about the build quality. Yes it does feel a little plastic-ky but there wasn’t any rattling or creaking from the device, plus all the ones I have used have held up well during use so far.

Quick Start Guide

A “Press, Click, Slide and Vape” system is used with the IVG SAVR, designed to simplify the set-up process.

You’ll need to put the pod and refill container together before inserting it into the device and the set-up process is as follows:

• Remove the cap from the mouthpiece by pressing the tabs and pulling downwards, then remove the silicone stopper inside.
• Press the tank and mouthpiece together firmly until they click.
• Insert the pod into the IVG SAVR device. You are now ready to vape!

This is an auto-draw device, with fixed airflow and power output, so once you’ve completed the set up process you just take a puff on the mouthpiece to vape!

Charging

Charging is via the USB-C port located on the base of the device, so you’ll need to lay it on its side whilst charging. No USB-C cable is included with the kit, so you’ll need to use one you already own or source a new one.

I couldn’t find a listed charging rate for the device but I’ve found that one of these will charge up from flat to full in around 45 minutes.

Initially, IVG have launched the SAVR range with fifteen different flavours, however the range will shortly expand to a massive thirty flavours in total! These are:

Phew, that’s an awful lot of flavours, I think there is something for pretty much everyone there!

The refill containers have not been released as yet but the IVG website promises they are coming soon!

Strawberry Ice

They say:

Deliciously sweet strawberries mixed with a frosty chill to create an icy, fruity flavour.

We say:

So this one reminds me exactly of those chewy strawberry sweets I loved as a kid, there’s a very similar sort of flavour and texture.

I really enjoyed that candy-like quality and the balance of sweetness is just right.

However, it loses a few points because the “Ice” element is practically non-existent in this blend. There’s hardly any cooling sensation at all that I could pick up on.

Cola Ice

They say:

Cola paired with a frosty chill for a classic and rich taste of your favourite beverage.

We say:

In the realm of disposables and pre-filled pods, this Cola Ice flavour is easily among the best I’ve encountered.

IVG has clearly mastered the elusive cola profile – a feat many have attempted, but few have achieved. From the very first draw, the flavour is rich, full-bodied and undeniably authentic. The subtle icy note adds another dimension of realism, perfectly complementing the classic cola taste. And the sweetness? Precisely balanced, never overpowering.

While the icy kick requires a slightly deeper, more deliberate inhale, that extra effort is well rewarded. It elevates the experience to a whole new level of refreshing satisfaction.

Blueberry Raspberry

The texture is deliciously thick and syrupy, reminiscent of homemade jam, clinging to the tongue with a satisfying sweetness. And while it’s certainly sweet, it avoids being cloying.

It’s a delightful concoction, a vibrant and refreshing fruity indulgence that hits all the right notes.

Blue Sour Raspberry

They say:

Sweet fruits with a sour twist: Tart raspberries infused with sweet, juicy blueberries.

We say:

IVG clearly knows a thing or two about crafting a delectable Blue Sour Raspberry e-liquid and this one is a prime example.

It’s a beautifully balanced blend of tangy, sweet and sour blue raspberry. The ratio of raspberry to blueberry feels just right and that sour twang at the finish is absolutely delightful.

A subtle chill accompanies the flavour, perfectly complementing the blue sour raspberry notes.

Yes, it’s sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Unlike many others, the sweetness here enhances the blue sour raspberry rather than masking it. The sweetener allows the fruity notes to truly shine, rather than drowning them out in artificial flavouring.

Blue Raspberry Ice

They say:

This beautifully blended blue raspberry is complemented by a blast of icy coolness.

We say:

The Blue Raspberry Ice flavour profile is definitely reminiscent of the Blue Sour Raspberry, but with a twist. The sourness has been dialled back and the icy chill cranked up, but other than that I didn’t feel like there was a whole lot of difference here.

It’s still a win in my book, as I was a big fan of the Blue Sour Raspberry flavour and I do enjoy a menthol blast in my vapes.

While the menthol isn’t quite as intense as I personally would prefer, I understand the balance. If it were any stronger, it might alienate a lot of vapers.

Blue Razz Lemonade

They say:

Tangy blue raspberry and crisp lemonade combined for a vibrant refreshing flavour.

We say:

This Blue Razz Lemonade blend is almost perfect. I would say that the lemonade just needed to be a little bit more prominent as the blue razz flavouring definitely takes centre stage here!

The flavour isn’t overdone or excessively sweet; the balance is just right. It’s smooth, with a subtle throat hit and a pleasant cooling sensation on the tongue, making for a truly refreshing vape.

Fresh Mint

They say:

An invigorating fresh minty flavour, offering a chill, crisp and soothing taste.

We say:

I’m a pretty big fan of minty blends and I know what I like – crisp, minty, with a powerful cooling blast.

This one comes so close to hitting all the right notes.

The inhale delivers a full-bodied mint flavour, with a sweet and sharp edge. Then comes the menthol – and it’s intense. It delivers a substantial throat hit, probably one of the strongest I’ve experienced in a disposable.

While it might be a tad too powerful for some, it’s right in my sweet spot.

Double Apple

They say:

Red and Green apples come together for a crisp, sweet flavour.

We say:

I’m absolutely hooked on the crisp Red apple flavour in this e-liquid! It’s so authentic, it’s like biting into a real apple with every puff. Juicy and perfectly sweet, it’s a true delight.

The Green apple flavouring offers the same level of authenticity and becomes more prominent right at the end. It’s like a wave of Green apple flavouring washes right over my tastebuds.

There’s also a pleasing cooling undertone present throughout that also builds in strength towards the end of the puff, complementing the Red and Green apple flavourings delightfully.

Fizzy Cherry

They say:

Tangy cherries infused with a hint of fizz, creating a refreshing and moreish flavour.

We say:

This Fizzy Cherry blend left me wanting a little more if I’m honest, I felt that it was a little flat overall.

The inhale delivers a cherry note, but it’s rather bland and generic, lacking the depth I expect. The cherry flavouring itself is muted and despite my best efforts, there’s no fizz to be found.

It’s not unpleasant, but it’s simply underwhelming. The lack of both fizz and overall depth to the flavour is a real let-down in my own eyes.

Grape Ice

They say:

The rich taste of ripe, bold grapes combined with an icy blast for an ultimate refreshment.

We say:

If you’re a fan of iced grape soda flavours, then this blend is a must-try!

It’s remarkably close to the real thing, just missing a bit of that fizzy effervescence. Yes, it’s a candied, artificial grape flavour, but the blend is expertly done. The grape flavour is prominent without being overwhelming.

The menthol provides a perfect counterpoint to the grape, adding a pleasant chill that runs throughout the vape.

Kiwi Passionfruit Guava

They say:

Ripe kiwis, tangy passionfruit, and rich guava creates a true taste of the tropics.

We say:

Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava blends can be tricky. Often, they’re either overly sharp and sweet, or the delicate balance of flavours gets completely muddled.

But this one? It’s a masterclass in balance. The passion fruit and kiwi taste remarkably authentic, with a delightful hint of guava adding complexity. No single flavour overpowers the others and none get lost in the mix – the hallmark of a truly great blend.

Pineapple Ice

They say:

Pineapple paired with a frosty kick for a fusion of tropical sweetness and chill.

We say:

Pineapple Ice is a popular flavour these days, with a ton of options vying for attention.

Whereas some pineapple ice vapes can be harsh and artificial, this one is surprisingly smooth. While it delivers a strong, disposable-style flavour, the pineapple itself tastes like sweet, refreshing pineapple juice.

The menthol is well-balanced, providing a consistent cooling sensation that intensifies with deeper inhales.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one and finished it off pretty quickly, which speaks volumes. Definitely a winner!

Lemon Lime

They say:

Bright citrusy lemons with a sweet twist followed by the aromatic zest of fresh lime.

We say:

So many lemon-lime vapes these days taste like those lemon-lime ice pops, which is fine, but this one offers something a bit different.

It’s a balanced blend of lemon and lime, reminiscent of your favourite lemon-lime candies – I’d even go so far as to say it’s like a handful of lemon and lime Starburst sweets. There’s a satisfyingly full mouthfeel, too.

If I had one tiny critique, it might be that it could be slightly sweeter. But honestly, that’s just my personal preference. I suspect most vapers opting for a flavour like this one will find the sweetness level perfectly dialled in.

Watermelon Ice

They say:

Luscious watermelon blended with an icy kick to deliver a sweet, icy delight.

We say:

The watermelon flavour in this one fell flat for me. It tasted washed out and artificial, with a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste for me.

While the icy cooling sensation is definitely pronounced – perhaps even too strong – it overshadows the already weak watermelon flavour.

Regular readers will know that watermelon isn’t exactly my favourite flavour to begin with and this experience certainly didn’t change my mind.

Strawberry Watermelon

They say:

Mouth-watering strawberries and sweet watermelons combine for the perfect juiciness burst.

We say:

With Strawberry Watermelon blends, I tend to find that the watermelon flavouring usually bullies the strawberry into oblivion, making it a difficult flavour note to pick out.

But this one? It’s a refreshing change. Finally, I can actually taste the strawberry – a rare treat in this flavour category. And surprisingly, the strawberry complements the watermelon quite nicely.

The inhale delivers a burst of watermelon, quickly followed by the strawberry, creating a harmonious blend. The sweetness is definitely there, but it’s not cloying.

While the flavour profile leans more towards candied than truly authentic fruit, it avoids being overly artificial or exaggerated. If you’re a fan of watermelon-strawberry combinations, this one is definitely worth a try.

How Does The IVG SAVR Perform?

Here, you have a device with a 1.1ohm mesh coil built into the pod, a fixed power output and fixed airflow designed to deliver a mouth-to-lung vape, similar to what you would get from a cigarette.

The draw is a little looser than a tight cigarette-styled draw, but I still get a good mouth-to-lung vape here with a pleasing level of vapour produced.

In terms of battery life, the 650mAh battery pretty much gets me through the day, which is what I would expect from a device like this.

How Many Puffs Do You Get From An IVG SAVR?

You get a 2ml pod and 4ml refill container, giving you a total of 6ml of e-liquid and the IVG SAVR range is marketed as offering up to 3000 puffs from each device.

As with any device, the amount of puffs that you will actually get depends on your own vaping habits. Longer and more frequent draws will affect how many puffs you get in total.

I tend to take quite long and deep draws on devices like this, lasting anywhere from 2-4 seconds, so I would always expect to get a lesser puff count than what the manufacturer claims!

I tested out the Double Apple IVG SAVR and made a tally of how many puffs I got. In total I got a puff count of 1,725 puffs. That was over almost three days in total before the e-liquid ran out!

Pros

• Large selection of different flavours
• Low-cost reusable pod vape
• Good alternative to disposable vapes
• Good choice for beginners
• Easy to use device

Cons

• Need to remove the pod to check the juice level
• Fixed airflow and wattage output
• Basic battery life indicator
• Only available in 20mg nicotine salt strength

Final Verdict

IVG have marketed these as being a low cost, reusable alternative to disposable vapes and I feel that they have hit the mark here with the IVG SAVR range.

Price-wise, these are pretty much in line with a disposable vape but these are a much better option!

You’ve got much more for your money here for starters, with these offering 6ml of e-liquid compared to the maximum 2ml that a disposable vape offers.

The SAVR range is a much more environmentally friendly option than a disposable, as you can reuse the device multiple times. Thanks to the built-in battery and the fact you can grab a refill kit once your original pod and refill container has run out, saving you from having to purchase a whole new device.

IVG have covered all the bases (and then some!) with the flavours too! With a huge range of thirty different flavours to choose from and you can swap these as you please thanks to the refill packs.

If you are still using disposables then I would highly recommend looking at switching over to the IVG SAVR range. You’ll get more bang for your buck here as well as a greener vaping option!

What Can We Expect From The IVG Air 4 in 1 Pod Kit?

IVG’s original 2400 4 in 1 disposable popularised the ‘revolver’ system of switching between different pre-filled pods on the move. It quickly became one of the best selling disposable vapes on the market!

Yes, that’s right, there’s now a rechargeable 1100mAh battery built into the device and an LED light indicator lets you see how much battery life you have remaining at a glance.

And when it comes to the revolver system of switching between different pods, it’s a case of ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’. This system returns allowing you to easily switch between four different pre-filled pods on the move.

IVG Air pods are pre-filled with 2ml of e-liquid and are 20mg strength, using nicotine salt to provide a smooth throat hit and satisfying nicotine craving satisfaction. And there’s plenty of flavours to pick from too!

Design & Build Quality

If you are already familiar with the original IVG 2400 4 in 1 then you’ll be right at home with the IVG Air 4 in 1, as this boasts an almost identical form factor!

You’ve got a cylindrical shaped design, which is nice and easy to grip and hold in the hand. There are ten different colours to choose from, each coming with four different pre-filled 2ml IVG Air pods.

On top of the device is the mouthpiece, which can be removed to give access to the chamber which holds the four 2ml pods. This chamber rotates smoothly as well, making it easy to twist and switch between the four pods on the go.

A new addition is the battery life indicator and this takes the form of an LED ring underneath the pod chamber.

This actually looks pretty cool when it lights up as you take a puff and it is pretty discreet too rather than taking the form of a pulsing, in-your-face light!

As there is now an 1100mAh rechargeable battery built into the device, you’ve got a USB-C charging port present on the base of the IVG Air 4 in 1.

A QR code is printed on the IVG Air 4 in 1 device which will take you to the online instructions, which is handy if you have misplaced your instruction manual.

Pods

The IVG Air 4 in 1 is compatible with IVG Air pods, much like the IVG Air 2 in 1 that we have previously reviewed. IVG Air pods come pre-filled with 2ml of 20mg nicotine salt based e-liquid.

What’s more, is that unlike the previous IVG 4 in 1 disposable, you can now purchase spare pre-filled pods and having the ability to recharge the device makes this a proper reusable pod system!

Quick Start Guide

This is one of the easiest pre-filled pod systems to set up and you’ll get going in no time at all! I’ve you have previously used an IVG 2400 4 in 1, then this will be second nature.

Getting Started

• Firstly, twist the mouthpiece anticlockwise to remove it. Then pop the pods out from their packaging.
• The pods have a handy arrow pointing downwards on them so you know which way to insert them!
• Pop each pod into the chamber, making sure the pods are oriented the correct way. Then replace the mouthpiece cap on the top.
• You simply twist the chamber until the pod you wish to vape is aligned with the arrow on the IVG Air 4 in 1 device, then take a draw through the mouthpiece.

Once you have finished a pod, simply discard it and replace with a new one.

Battery Life Indicator

You can check how much battery life you have left thanks to the LED ring.

• If it glows Blue then it means there’s 100-50% battery left
• Orange means there is 50-20% left
• Red means that there is less than 20% and you should probably pop your IVG Air 4 in 1 on for a charge!

Recharging the IVG Air 4 in 1 is done via the USB-C charging port at the base of the device, but no USB-C charging cable is supplied with the kit.

You’ll need to use one of your own or purchase one separately!

How Does The IVG Air 4 in 1 Perform?

Vape Club sent over the Blue IVG Air 4 in 1 edition for review and my thoughts on the included pods are below.

Blue Sour Raspberry

They say

Experience sweet fruits with a sour twist. Tart raspberries infused with sweet juicy blueberries.

We say

If there is one thing that IVG do know how to do, then that is how to mix a delightful tasting Blue Sour Raspberry e-liquid!

Now this is a really nice tangy, sweet and sour blue raspberry flavour! I felt that the balance of flavouring was pretty spot on between the raspberries and blueberries and I really liked the sour twang to this one at the end.

There’s a slight chill at the end of this as well which goes well with the blue sour raspberry flavouring.

Yes, it is sweet, but not overly so compared to a lot of the others out there. Quite a few that I have tried in the past get drowned out by the taste of artificial sweetener, but not so here.

The blue sour raspberry notes are complimented by sweetener instead, allowing them to shine through.

Excellent stuff!

Blue Raspberry Ice

They say

This beautifully blended blue raspberry is complemented by a blast of icy coolness.

We say

I felt that this one was quite similar tasting to the Blue Sour Raspberry, just with the sourness toned down and the icy chill turned up!

That’s no bad thing as I really enjoyed the Blue Sour Raspberry and I like a menthol kick to my e-liquids.

The menthol kick isn’t as strong as I would like it to be, but then if the chilly hit was mixed to my preferences then it would probably put a lot of people off!

Blue Raspberry Cherry

They say

A flavour explosion of tart blueberries and raspberries paired with sweet cherry.

We say

This one is predominantly more of a blue raspberry flavour, with a subtle undertone of cherry flavouring.

I get the blueberry and raspberry flavours on the inhale. I’d say the raspberry was just a touch stronger and I can pick up on an undertone of cherry holding it all together.

There’s a nice sweet and sour kick to this one as well and if you have a sweet tooth you will definitely enjoy this flavour!

Strawberry Watermelon

They say

Savour the taste of summer with our Watermelon Strawberry juice this is a luscious liquid bursting with fruity goodness.

We say

Now this isn’t too bad, considering as I don’t usually like watermelon flavouring!

I felt that it took a little bit more of a back seat to the strawberry, which is delightfully sweet and backed up well with the juicy watermelon notes.

There seems to be an ever so subtle cooling sensation right at the end of this which is quite a nice little effect.

I must say that I found this to be a bit of a strange inclusion given that the other three pods have blue raspberry as a base flavour. But it does seem that there are only three different blue raspberry flavours as part of the IVG Air pod range.

I mean, when you think ‘blue’ when it comes to e-liquid flavours I don’t think Strawberry Watermelon comes to mind! Maybe Grape Ice might have been a better one to include?

Just my opinion!

Device Performance

As with the IVG Air 2 in 1, the IVG Air 4 in 1 is configured to deliver a mouth to lung vape. Mainly in order to appeal to newer vapers who will get on with a tighter draw that mimics a cigarette rather than an airier one.

Airflow is fixed on the device so you are stuck with the stock mouth to lung vape!

It’s the same draw that is present on the IVG 2400 4 in 1, which is just about perfect for a device like this. There’s a smooth mouth to lung inhale and instantaneous firing of the device as soon as you inhale on it.

Battery life is pretty decent on the IVG Air 4 in 1 thanks to the built in 1100mAh battery. This device tends to last me around a day and a half of vaping before I needed to pop it on for a charge!

Puff Count

Unlike the IVG 2400 4 in 1, IVG themselves don’t actually state how many puffs you are likely to get from each pod in their marketing for the IVG Air 4 in 1. Which is something I like to see!

Puff counts can be highly inflated or based on unrealistic scenarios during laboratory testing. Such as reaching a puff count by measuring puffs that are less than one second.

How many puffs you will get from each pod will depend on how often and how long you take a draw on the device. So shorter and less frequent puffs will get more out of it as opposed to longer and deeper draws.

I personally tend to take longer and deeper draws on a mouth to lung device such as this one.

Puff count wise, I got 263 puffs from the Blue Raspberry Cherry, 288 puffs from the Blue Sour Raspberry, 271 puffs from the Strawberry Watermelon and 280 puffs from the Blue Raspberry Ice.

So, the puff counts are quite consistent across the pods.

I took the IVG Air 4 in 1 away with me to a four day heavy metal festival in August and it did the job for me. Lasting from the first day right through to the last, with only a couple of recharges needed.

So it is ideal for taking away to a festival or a short break away especially if you don’t fancy taking loads of vape gear with you!

Pros

Final Verdict

One of my main gripes with the original IVG 2400 4 in 1 kit was the waste footprint created by having to dispose of the whole device once you finished your pods off.

I’m delighted that IVG have tackled this by adding a rechargeable battery and the ability to purchase replacement pods. This makes one of the most popular devices on the market a more sustainable option as you can now reuse it!

And the most popular feature of the original 4 in 1 is still as good as ever. The ability to switch between four different great flavours on the move is a big selling point and it is as easy as ever to do, simply twist the chamber to switch the flavour.

Flavours are just as good as they were before too. So you have a selection of great fruit, ice and soda styled flavours to pick from. And by having the ability to purchase replacement pods separately you have endless flavour combinations at your disposal.

Incredibly, the IVG Air 4 in 1 is actually available for £1 less than the original 2400 4 in 1. Which is superb value for money when you consider that this is a reusable pod system and you can grab replacement pod packs for under £5.

If you use the original 4 in 1’s you should get straight on the new IVG Air 4 in 1!

Design & Build Quality

Measuring in at 83mm x 46mm x 23mm and weighing 61g, the IVG Air 2 in 1 device is a palm-friendly little pod system sporting rounded edges and a pebble shaped design.

At the top of the device is a mouthpiece which you can actually rotate, which allows you to switch between the two pods that you have in your device.

There is no way of seeing how much e-liquid remains in your pod. The only clue you’ll get that the pod is about to run out is that the flavour will start to weaken and/or taste a little bit burnt.

Once you have finished off your pods you simply remove and discard them before replacing them with fresh ones that can be purchased separately!

You’ll notice a button just under the mouthpiece, pressing this button will allow you to open up the top of the IVG Air 2 in 1 device to gain access to the chamber which takes two pods.

There are clear viewing windows on either side of the device which allows you to see which flavours your pods are.

During my time using the IVG Air 2 in 1, I did have an intermittent issue whereby one of the pod chambers did not seem to detect the pod that had been inserted and it required me to switch the pods around to fix it.

Bit of a strange one but an easy fix, hopefully I just had a one-off faulty device and this isn’t a widespread issue with these units.

I did notice that I needed to wipe the mouthpiece after taking a puff on it before twisting it to switch flavours, as it gets a little slippery after vaping on it.

To be honest, you probably should be wiping it anyway before touching it for hygiene purposes!

Overall, I felt the build quality felt a little on the cheap and plasticky side. The lid on mine was a little crunchy, but this is a sub £10 budget pod system after all!

Pods

The IVG Air 2 in 1 is compatible with IVG Air pods, which can also be used in the IVG Air 4 in 1. These are pre-filled with 2ml of 20mg nicotine salt based e-liquid.

Quick Start Guide

• Firstly, you’ve got to load your pods into the IVG Air device. Push the button just under the mouthpiece to open the lid, then load the pods in with the arrows pointing downwards.
• After this, close the lid and press it down until it clicks. To switch between the two flavours, lift and rotate the mouthpiece until it is over your desired pod.

The IVG Air 2 in 1 features a simple, auto draw system so you only need to take a draw on the mouthpiece to get the device to fire. No buttons needed here!

Charging is via USB-C and you’ll need your own cable as there isn’t one supplied with the kit.

The USB-C charging port is located at the base of the device and you just need to plug a suitable USB-C cable in there.

How Does The IVG Air 2 in 1 Kit Perform?

I was sent the Black IVG Air 2 in 1 kit for review so here’s some quick thoughts on the included pods.

Pineapple Ice

I felt that this one tasted more like a Pineapple Cube Sweet type flavour and had quite a nice icy kick at the end of it.

There’s a nice aftertaste of sweet pineapple at the end of it but it just needed a bit more flavouring, as I felt it lacked a bit of the depth present in other pineapple ice flavours.

The flavour itself is good enough but I would say that it is a little weaker than I would like, which might suit people who prefer more subtle flavours.

Fizzy Cherry

This is quite a straightforward generic Red cherry flavour, which is no bad thing for me as I actually quite enjoy a cherry vape!

It’s quite like a chewy cherry sweet and left me with quite a thick mouthfeel afterwards.

I wasn’t picking up on much in the way of fizz but then my track record in tasting fizz isn’t the best, it seems to be a hard note for me to pick up on!

Device Performance

As with many other starter kit pod systems, the IVG Air 2 in 1 offers a mouth to lung vape so you have a similar draw to what you would get from a cigarette. The auto draw system means you just puff on the device to vape it.

Airflow is fixed so there is no way of adjusting this to your liking.

The device fires pretty much instantaneously as soon as you take a draw on it and it delivers a smooth vape with a decent amount of vapour produced.

It does feel like it is delivering the right amount of power to the coil and I had no issues with e-liquid being spat into my mouth or any gurgling.

Battery life is a key selling point with this kit. The 850mAh battery will power you through well over a day’s worth of vaping. As the battery is rechargeable you’ll be able to continue to keep getting plenty of use out of your IVG Air 2 in 1 device.

Puff Count

IVG themselves don’t actually state how many puffs you are likely to get from each pod in their marketing for the IVG Air 2 in 1. Which is something I actually like to see because you can get some really outlandish claims from some manufacturers!

How many puffs you will get from each pod will depend on how often and how long you take a draw on the device, so shorter and less frequent puffs will get more out of it as opposed to longer and deeper draws.

I sit firmly in the ‘longer and deeper’ draws camp and I recently took the IVG Air 2 in 1 away with me on a five day family camping trip. I counted 288 puffs from the Pineapple Ice pod and 275 from the Fizzy Cherry one.

So, this got me through about two days of use alongside another pod system.

If you are looking for a device like this for a longer trip away and don’t want to take too much vaping gear away with you, it might be worth taking a look at spending a little more money on the IVG Air 4 in 1.

Pros

• Easy to switch between two flavours on the go.
• Very easy to use, appeals to beginners.
• Well priced, available for under £10.
• Rechargeable and reusable pod system.
• Good battery life.
• Huge range of different pre-filled pod flavours to pick from.

Cons

• Only available in 20mg strength.
• Only fruit and menthol flavours to pick from.
• Build quality feels a little cheap.
• Can be hard to twist the mouthpiece to switch flavours without wiping it first as it gets a little slippery after vaping on it!
• Had an issue with my unit where one of the pod chambers would intermittently not detect the pod.

Final Verdict

This is a mouth to lung pod kit that will definitely appeal to beginners, or to vapers that want a no-frills device to take away with them for a couple of days. It’s dead simple to set up and vape away on, with a really quick set up time.

I’m pleased to see that IVG are also selling refill pods, which means you can continue to use your IVG Air 2 in 1 even after you’ve vaped the two pods that are included in the kit. For that reason, it is also a more sustainable choice for vaping!

Vape Club are selling these for £8.99, which represents great value for money for a pod system that you can re-use time and time again. That’s less than the price of two disposable vapes and you get more vaping for your money right out of the box.

IVG have designed the Smart 5500 to be a more cost effective option to traditional disposable vapes. For the price of two disposables you can get around five times the puffs that you would from two disposables. And that is all in one pocket friendly kit too!

As these require minimal set-up and come pre-charged and pre-filled. They offer an unparalleled level of convenience. All you have got to do is snap in one of the 10ml auto-refill pods and you have 12ml of e-liquid to vape in one kit. This is due to there also being a pre-filled 2ml tank with a mesh coil built into the kit!

A very clever auto-refilling system automatically feeds e-liquid from the auto-refill pod into the tank. So once it is installed you need not do anything to keep that tank topped up.

Design & Build Quality

These are box shaped vaping kits, designed to be quite discreet and pocket friendly. Each one in the range comes in a different colour depending on the flavour.

In terms of style, these reminded me of some squonking devices that I owned years ago!

You’ll notice the auto refill pod which takes up quite a large portion of the kit, which is clear enough to allow you to see how much e-liquid you have in the device.

This fits in perfectly thanks to the smooth grooves present on the kit and auto-refill pod. I’ll cover how this works in a bit more detail later on in the review!

They are comfortable to hold in the hand and feel quite lightweight as well, meaning that they are a good pocket carry.

I’ve got no complaints at all with the build quality! The IVG Smart 5500 kits are pretty robust, they look good and there’s no sharp edges or unsightly gaps present.

Quick Start Guide

Each kit has a pre-filled 2ml tank, but you are going to want to install the 10ml auto-refill pod before getting underway.

How To Install The Pod

• Remove the Red silicone protective cover from the side of the device.
• Align the grooves on the refill pod and the device before finally sliding it in with a satisfying click.

Then that is it, you are good to go!

Operation

As it is an auto draw pod system just take a puff on the device to vape.

There’s a small LED light present on the kit that is used as a battery life indicator.

To charge the kit, simply plug a USB-C cable into the charging port on the base.

The refill pod automatically feeds the built in tank inside the device so there’s no buttons to press or anything to re-fill it with e-liquid, it is all done automatically. That is convenience right there!

Performance

I won’t be reviewing all 30 flavours, as if I did I would be authoring a small novel! But I’ll be taking a look at a selection of ten flavours that IVG sent over. Let’s see how they fared…

Cola Ice

They say

A classic cola flavour infused with a blast of ice, reminiscent of sipping an ice-cold cola on a hot summer day.

We say

I must say, this one has got to be one of the best cola flavours that I have tried when it comes to a disposable or pre-filled pod system!

IVG just seem to nail the cola taste, which can be quite hard to nail. I find it rich, full flavoured and authentic right from the inhale. With the ice flavour note just adding another layer of authenticity to this. It’s been perfectly sweetened too, with just the right balance.

I’d say that I needed to take a bit of a deeper and longer inhale to really pick up on that icy blast, but taking that deeper inhale just elevates this to a whole new level!

I can tell that IVG have poured their mixing expertise into this one, producing an excellent, realistic flavour blend.

Lemon & Lime

They say

A citrus lovers dream, our Lemon & Lime liquid is zesty, refreshing and bursting with bright citrus flavour.

We say

This is another really well balanced flavour from the IVG Smart 5500 range!

Recently, I’ve found that a lot of the lemon and lime blends that I have tried have tasted like a lemon lime flavoured ice pop, but this one is a little different to me.

I get a balanced mix of lemon and lime flavouring, that tastes like a mix of lemon and lime flavoured sweets. I personally felt like it tasted like a mixture of lemon and lime Starburst. There’s quite a thick mouthfeel present here too.

If I’m being picky I’d say it could do with being just a touch sweeter, but that is just for my tastebuds! I would say most people will find this absolutely spot on.

Classic Menthol

They say

Our Classic Menthol delivers a smooth and refreshing vape that’s perfect for those who love a timeless flavour.

We say

I’m a fan of menthol flavours and I know how I like them – crisp, minty and with a nice cooling blast to them!

This one very nearly ticks all the boxes for me.

On the inhale there’s a full flavoured mint flavour, with a sweet and sharp note to it. This is followed up with a pretty intense menthol hit that gives a bit of throat hit too. In fact, it’s probably one of the stronger ones that I have tasted when it comes to a disposable!

This might be a little too intense for some people but it definitely does the job for me.

Watermelon Strawberry

They say

Savour the taste of summer with our Watermelon Strawberry juice, this is a luscious liquid bursting with fruity goodness.

We say

I’ve tried a fair few watermelon and strawberry blends recently (such is the industry obsession with watermelon flavouring, I’ve no idea why, I don’t know anyone that likes it!). And I’ve found them to be disappointing on the whole as the watermelon just tends to overpower the strawberry flavouring.

I find this to have a bit of a better balance. For starters, I can actually taste the strawberry flavouring and I’ve struggled to do so recently with some other watermelon and strawberry blends that I’ve tried. And the strawberry does compliment the watermelon flavouring pretty well.

So, on the inhale I get the watermelon flavour, but the strawberry then comes in to blend in pretty well with the watermelon notes. There’s a decent level of sweetener present here too.

It doesn’t taste as authentic as I would like it to, but the candied watermelon and strawberry flavours aren’t too over-flavoured or artificial tasting. So this is definitely going to appeal to fans of this particular combination.

Pro Blue

They say

Deliciously sweet and sharp raspberry flavours mixed with fresh blueberry and finished with an icy kick.

We say

This one went down particularly well with my wife, who enjoyed it so much she is re-ordering another one! So bonus points here already.

I get a simple blend of two flavours, but these are done very well. To me, the raspberry and blueberry flavours tasted quite authentic and there’s a good balance of the two to be found here.

I would agree that it is sweet and sharp, but IVG’s expert blending ensures that it isn’t overly so. The balance is pretty much perfect in my opinion!

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry

They say

Sweet strawberries, tangy raspberries, and succulent cherries create a flavour explosion.

We say

This has become quite the popular flavour when it comes to disposables. I was quite excited to try this one out, as I do very much like a strawberry, raspberry and cherry blend!

So I could definitely pick up on quite a full flavoured strawberry flavour and a very sweet and tangy raspberry. There seems to be quite a bit of sweetener present in this too and it definitely isn’t short on flavour.

I couldn’t quite pick up on the cherry flavouring as much as I would have liked to. The strawberry and raspberry flavours seemed to dominate this one from start to finish.

Blue Raspberry Ice

They say

This beautifully blended blue raspberry is complemented by a blast of icy coolness.

We say

Personally I felt this one tasted like the Pro Blue flavour that I reviewed above, just with a stronger icy finish to it.

I get the blueberry and raspberry combination, that is followed up by a good blast of koolada that nips at the back of the throat. I thought that the blueberry and raspberry tasted stronger here too, so it’s more of a full flavoured Pro Blue.

Much like the cola ice flavour, I felt that this benefited from a deeper and longer inhale to really get a strong icy finish to it.

Tropical Fruits

They say

A medley of exotic fruits that delivers a taste of the tropics, making every puff a taste sensation.

We say

I do like a tropical fruit combo and this one goes down a treat on a hot summer’s day. Not that we are getting much of those in the UK this year so far!

I get a realistic tasting blend of pineapple, mango and passionfruit, with all three of them complimented with some sweetener too. It’s like a nice, refreshing glass of a tropical fruit drink!

These three flavours add some good depth and complexity, making for a very tasty and refreshing summery vape.

Fizzy Cherry

They say

Tangy cherry is infused with a hint of fizz, creating a vape that’s both refreshing and moreish.

We say

I must say I was left a little disappointed by this one.

On the inhale I get a cherry flavour, but it is a bit of a bland and generic cherry and lacks the usual depth. The cherry flavouring is quite muted too and there’s no real fizz here to speak of no matter how deep of a draw I took on this.

It isn’t offensive tasting, but it is just let down by not only a lack of fizz, but a lack of flavour overall too.

Pineapple Passionfruit

They say

Dive into a tropical paradise with Pineapple Passionfruit vape liquid, tangy meets exotic.

We say

Well this certainly is a zingy, exotic little number! I can’t really fault the mixing here. IVG have done an expert job on this, delivering what I would imagine will be an all-day vape for many people out there.

The inhale delivers a mouthwatering blend of pineapple and passionfruit flavouring. The zingy pineapple blending in superbly with the juicy and sweet passionfruit flavour, making for quite a mouthwatering blend.

Both flavours seem to be equally balanced out and authentic tasting, this one ran the Cola Ice flavour very close for my pick of the range!

Device Performance

Mouth to lung vaping is the name of the game here and if you aren’t sure what that means then check out our guide to vaping styles!

Airflow is fixed to deliver that mouth to lung vape, with no way of adjusting it. You get a very smooth mouth to lung draw here, with no gurgling or spitback from the tank. So there’s no need to worry about getting e-liquid in your mouth.

Battery wise, these feature a rechargeable 1000mAh battery which is actually larger than a lot of other competitors. This will get you well over whole day of usage. Most users are going to probably get two days out of one of this before needing to pop it on for a charge.

And the battery can be recharged multiple times, so you can be confident that it isn’t going to run out before the e-liquid does.

I took the Cola Ice flavour with me for a recent camping trip away (albeit alongside a couple of other kits that I’ve got in for review at the moment) and it really did the trick.

I didn’t need to charge the battery once and I got consistent flavour from it for the entire weekend.

These kits are perfect for trips away like that!

One downside however is that I can’t see the ability to purchase refill pods separately for the kit? So once you have used up the 10ml refill pod then you need to dispose of the entire device.

This may well be because the coil is fixed into the device, with no way of replacing it. So this may not have lasted more than a second (or third) pods worth of sweet e-liquid anyway.

The system works really well too. I didn’t have an issue with dry hits or gurgling due to e-liquid flooding the coil. Just a consistent vape from start to finish.

A small bugbear that I found was that on three of these kits, some sticky residue was left on the pod after I peeled the sticker off – you might notice this in my pictures!

Now this isn’t a problem if you are at home and can wipe it off, though if you pick one of these up when out and about this may be a slight annoyance if it happens to you!

Puff Count

IVG state that these can offer up to 5500 puffs, which is actually quite a reasonable estimate for the 12ml of e-liquid in total that you get. Certainly a more realistic figure than some of the figures promoted by other disposable vapes out there!

In fact, during testing, I wasn’t too far off this figure at all. I counted 5,229 puffs which is pretty damn close and that was with taking some pretty deep and long draws on it.

Pros

• Large range of top quality flavours
• Simple to set up
• Very easy to use kit
• Excellent vape with smooth draw
• Robustly designed
• Auto refilling system works flawlessly
• Large capacity 1000mAh rechargeable battery
• Manufacturer puff count is almost spot on

Cons

• Sticky residue left on some of the pods
• Airflow is fixed
• Pods aren’t available to purchase separately meaning the whole kit needs to be disposed of when finished
• Virtually all fruit flavours apart from two mint variations, nothing here for the dessert e-liquid fans
• No Honey Crunch version in the range….booo!

Final Verdict

I must say that I’ve really enjoyed vaping away on these kits. I was already a fan of the e-liquids that IVG have released (Honey Crunch from the IVG Salt range is one of my all-time favourite e-liquids ever!). These devices pack that quality IVG flavour blending in easy to use disposable vape kits.

These kits really are dead simple to use, very well designed and manufactured and each one worked flawlessly during my time with them. Simply snap on a pod and you are good to go, with enough battery here to get you through a whole day of vaping.

Value for money is excellent here. You are getting a ready to use vape kit with 12ml of quality e-liquid for a shade under £12, which is a real bargain in my opinion.

These kits are absolutely well worth the money and will last a lot longer than a traditional throwaway disposable vape.

There’s also a huge range of different flavours to pick from, with all of the disposable favourites well covered in this range.

Now if IVG could only release a version that featured Honey Crunch flavour (hint hint)…I would happily award these an 11/10!!

Cherry Edition

They say

Blue Razz Cherry – sweet blue raspberry paired with a sour cherry bite for a deliciously sweet mix. Fizzy Cherry – sweet and sour cherries with an added fizzy kick for an exciting, sweet combination.

Lemon Cherry Ice – sweet and sour lemons with a black cherry twist. Cherry Peach Lemonade – a perfect concoction of black cherry, peach and sweet lemon.

We say

Kicking things off with Blue Razz Cherry, this features a very sweet blue raspberry flavour that pairs with a subtle cherry finish, I didn’t pick up a sour note from the cherry flavouring but all in all, this wasn’t a bad pairing.

Fizzy Cherry just tasted like a straightforward candied cherry flavour, I didn’t get any fizz or any notes attempting to replicate a fizz from this one at all.

Lemon Cherry Ice was quite interesting, quite a sharp and tart lemon flavour mixed with a dark cherry, but the ‘Ice’ element seemed to be lacking here.

Last but not least was my favourite of the four here, and the one I kept ‘revolving’ back to, and that is Cherry Peach Lemonade.

The combination of black cherry, peach and sweet lemon works really well and all three flavours contrast well with each other. I did feel that the flavouring could have been turned up just a touch though!

Coffee Edition

They say

Hazel Espresso – rich espresso coffee infused with hazelnut.

Coconut Coffee Cream – smooth coffee infused with a decadent coconut milk and vanilla mix.

Velvet Vanilla Coffee – rich coffee with a sweet vanilla finish.

Caramel Coffee – rich coffee with a sweet caramel finish.

We say

I’ve mentioned in many previous reviews that I’m not the biggest fan of a relentless onslaught of fruity flavours (don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind a fruity vape from time to time!), so when I opened the parcel from IVG up and saw this one, I was very pleased indeed!

Starting off with the Caramel Coffee, this features thick layers of caramel and I found the coffee flavouring comes in after the caramel, providing a rich contrast to the sweet caramel.

Hazel Espresso is more of a nuttier, drier vape and has a subtle coffee flavouring contrasting with the hazelnut.

Velvet Vanilla Coffee is velvety smooth indeed, again the coffee flavouring is quite subtle, and is more of an undertone to a smooth vanilla flavour.

My pick of the four flavours here was the Coconut Coffee Cream. This is really delicious and arguably my favourite out of all of the IVG 2400 4 in 1 Multi-Flavour Editions flavours that I tried. There’s a very smooth coffee flavour backed up with an undertone of cream, and this is finished off with a dusting of a coconut flavour

Plum Raspberry was my personal pick out of the four here, though this was a close one with the Plum Pomegranate! My first thought was that this was really smooth, which is quite strange when these two flavours are quite well known for being sweet.

The raspberry wasn’t overly sweet or over-flavoured like I have found with some raspberry flavours in the past, and again it is a nice contrast to the plum flavour.

Not too bad overall, this offers something a little different, and I liked the flavour combinations on offer here, which were different to what you would normally get from a range of fruit flavoured disposables.

Banana Edition

We say

I started off with the Banana Pineapple Coconut Ice flavour and let me tell you, that really hit the spot!

The blend of banana and pineapple mixes beautifully with a creamy coconut finish, making me hammer through that particular pod in no time at all! The blending really is spot on there.

Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other three flavours that make up the Banana Edition.

Banana Ice features a very artificial hit of banana, with a menthol cooling sensation, and it’s a strange sensation indeed. I’ve tried a few banana ice flavours over the years and never once felt that it is a flavour combination that works!

Banana Strawberry Blueberry Ice starts off quite well, with a pleasant blend of strawberry and blueberry, but the banana ice undertone leaves me with a bit of an unpleasant experience.

With this one, the cooling sensation blends with the banana and ruins it for me really. Just stop with the ice already!

Banana Orange Ice features a slightly less artificial tasting banana, perhaps there’s less banana flavour concentrate being used, blended with quite a sharp orange flavour. Again, it is a bit of a strange one.

Aside from the Banana Pineapple Coconut Ice, the presence of a quite artificial banana flavour in the other three flavours was quite off-putting for me and slightly soured my experience with the banana edition.

I’d quite happily puff away on one of these just filled with four Banana Pineapple Coconut Ice flavoured pods though!

Fizzy Edition

They say

Fizzy Cherry – sweet and sour cherries with an added fizzy kick for an exciting, sweet combination.

Fizzy Orange – juicy oranges with a subtle hint of blueberries to add a refreshing twist to the mix.

Fizzy Lemon – a tangy and sweet lemon treat.

Fizzy Cola – an unmistakable classic cola captured mixed with sweet and sour notes.

We say

Fizzy Cherry is exactly the same as the one found in the Cherry Edition above, there’s no difference here at all!

Moving onto the Fizzy Orange, I would say this one was my favourite out of the four. Quite a sharp and sweet orange flavour, that I quite enjoyed, and it was a bit like the flavouring from a fizzy orange drink. I didn’t pick up on any blueberry or any fizzy notes however.

Fizzy Lemon features a pretty hefty punch of zesty lemon flavour, but no detectable fizz to this one.

More like a lemon flavoured sweet if I’m honest!

The fizz was unfortunately lacking with the Fizzy Cola flavour too, and this just tasted like a cola cube sweet to me, which I really don’t mind. Cola flavours have definitely grown on me over the past year! Not inoffensive at all, but definitely not fizzy.

I had to mark this down slightly as I didn’t get much in the way of a fizzy flavour note out of any of these really, just a lot of very sweet flavour overall.

Pineapple Edition

They say

Pineapple Banana Strawberry – a beautiful blend of fresh strawberries, banana and tangy pineapple.

Pineapple Passionfruit – fresh pineapple’s liquid sweetness infused with vibrant passion fruit.

Pineapple Peach Mango – sweet pineapple, tangy peach and mango. Liquid sweet and sour.

Pineapple Ice – an exciting pairing of sweet and tart pineapple with icy menthol.

We say

Oooh yes, I definitely am partial to pineapple flavours, so I was excited to give this one a whirl!

Banana flavours usually make me recoil in horror but thankfully Pineapple Banana Strawberry did not! I get a fruit smoothie vibe from this one, with pineapple and banana as the two strongest flavours and a smooth strawberry undertone.

It’s packing plenty of flavour, quite sweet too, yet still manages to taste quite smooth to me!

Pineapple Passionfruit is a delicious pairing of two exotic flavours, and IVG have got the blend spot on here. I felt the passionfruit flavouring was just a tad stronger than the pineapple, but it’s delicious and refreshing to vape on.

My favourite here was the Pineapple Peach Mango. A sweet and exotic combination of three flavours, I get the pineapple first, followed up with juicy peach and it is rounded off perfectly with some authentic tasting mango. Good stuff!

Pineapple Ice, you find this one in just about every range of disposables going. And IVG’s effort here is pretty damn good, plenty of sweet pineapple flavour and a cooling little nip at the end to finish it all off.

Overall, I found these four flavours to really hit the spot for me, true to their flavour descriptions and delivering some very tasty flavours.

Strawberry Edition

They say

Strawberry Ice – deliciously sweet strawberries mixed with menthol for an icy, fruity flavour.

Strawberry Kiwi – freshness meets zest with this strawberry and kiwi symphony. Strawberry

Watermelon Fusion – experience the mouth-watering fusion of sweet, sun-ripened strawberries and the watery sweetness of watermelon.

Strawberry Raspberry Ice – smooth creamy strawberries with a fresh raspberry twist.

We say

Strawberry Ice features a candied strawberry flavour, with a subtle note of menthol. The strawberry flavouring isn’t too strong, which can be unpleasant with a candied strawberry flavour.

Not too bad overall, but I could take or leave this one!

Strawberry Kiwi contrasts the candied strawberry flavouring with some kiwi, a pleasantly vapeable combination here.

I didn’t get on well at all with the Strawberry Watermelon Fusion. Reason being is that this just tasted very artificial, and the flavouring was quite strong compared to the others, and I didn’t find it all that pleasant.

Unfortunately, it was probably my least favourite one out of all the flavours I tried out!

Finishing this one off is the Strawberry Raspberry Ice, which I found to be an excellent flavour combination.

The cream and strawberry tastes like the strawberries and cream sweets, blended with some raspberry in the background. IVG have blended this one superbly and it makes for a deliciously sweet and creamy vape, certainly had me coming back for more!

Some good strawberry flavours on offer here, unfortunately my experience with the Strawberry Watermelon Fusion let the overall score down here.

Berry Edition

They say

Berry Lemonade Ice – a mix of fruity berries with a splash of sour lemonade, finished with a cool menthol breeze.

Blue Razz Cherry – sweet blue raspberry paired with a sour cherry bite for a deliciously sweet mix.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry – sweet mix of strawberry and cherry with a twist of fresh mint.

Blue Razz Pineapple – a mix of sweet blueberries, tart raspberry and fresh pineapple.

We say

Berry Lemonade Ice features a very juicy and sweet mixed berry flavouring, with a sharp and zesty sour lemonade flavour, and a nice hit of menthol at the end to round it all off.

Blue Razz Cherry is just the same as the one found in the Cherry Edition, but it definitely feels at home here and works well in rotation with the other three flavours.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry is a sweet and sour mixture, the strawberry and raspberry provide the sweetness and the cherry flavour provides a nice sour contrast at the end. Mint is a subtle undertone in the background, barely detectable but it is there, and it is a nice addition!

Blue Razz Pineapple is solid if not unspectacular, offering a nice combination of blueberries, raspberry and an exotic pineapple finish.

All in all this is a really solid mix of four berry-based flavours, all four work well together and provide a good spectrum of berry flavours.

Lemon Edition

They say

Lemon and Lime – an incredible citrus mix that’s fruity and sweet with a touch of sourness.

Lemon Ice – fresh and zingy lemon paired with an icy kick.

Lemon Passionfruit Ice – sweet lemons mixed with black cherry and passionfruit.

Lemon Tangerine Ice – A citrus medley of oranges, limes and lemons.

We say

Ah the old classic, no self-respecting disposable range is complete without a lemon and lime flavour! And this is a good one, I can’t complain about the mix ratio, both the lemon and lime are done well here and blended together perfectly for a very refreshing vape.

Next up was the Lemon Ice, and this was tasty indeed after having a good puff on the Lemon and Lime. It’s a straightforward sharp and tangy lemon flavour that features a nice, contrasting cooling flavour note at the end.

I certainly wasn’t expecting cherry in the Lemon Passionfruit Ice, a surprising addition that actually blends in nicely with the lemon and passionfruit flavouring to offer something a little different. This is rounded off well with a subtle chill at the end.

Lemon Tangerine Ice is like a citrus greatest hits, a procession of orange, lemon and lime flavour that seems to come in one after the other, and again is rounded off with a nice cooling sensation to finish.

Blending is on the money here, delivering some top flavour, I felt that this had a nice summery vibe to it.

This is an excellent mix of four really good lemon-based flavours, each one of these I could happily toot away on all day.

Final Review Verdict

I love the ability to switch between four different flavours on the fly with the IVG 4 in 1 disposable vapes, rather than restricting yourself to a single flavour from your disposable vape.

If I get tired of vaping one flavour, I simply twist the device and move onto the next.

A bonus is that these are really user friendly to use, just pop your pods inside the device and away you go. Simply twist the top and rotate the drip tip and bam- you have yourself a new flavour. And with four pods these pack 8ml of e-liquid in total!

The flavours that you get in each IVG 4 in 1 do complement each other really well on the whole, and there is a massive range of different flavours to pick from. Out of the ones I was sent for review, there were only a couple that I didn’t particularly enjoy, so a big win there.

One negative is that these come with a built in, non-replaceable, non-rechargeable battery so the waste footprint from these disposables is quite large. I would much prefer to see these sold with rechargeable batteries, and the ability to buy replacement pods so that the device itself could be reused. Hopefully something we see in the future.

In terms of a single use battery device they are built to last, and I haven’t had an issue with the battery running out before the pods did. I’d be pretty happy taking one or two of these away for a weekend and puffing on the great flavours the IVG 4 in 1 range offers!

There won’t be many vapers out there unfamiliar with IVG.

Because it didn’t take too long for the industry awards to start flooding in. At the time of writing IVG have amassed an incredible number. This year alone they’ve scooped an Ecigclick award for ‘Best UK E-liquid Brand’.

.. For the third time I might add!

Their success comes from a high level of commitment.

What Can We Expect From the IVG 2400 Disposable Vapes?

IVG have well and truly got a handle on disposable vapes over the last few years.

So what’s next for this popular E-liquid manufacturer? Looks to me like another of their new and creative ideas.

The IVG 2400 disposable is a big boy and that’s for a reason. With a diameter of 32mm and a height of 127mm (including mouthpiece) it houses a non rechargeable 1500mAh battery and a revolving chamber designed to fit four 2ml E-liquid cartridges.

So yes it’s on the chunky side but you might be pleasantly surprised at how lightweight it is.

Each disposable is appropriately colour coded to reflect the flavour within and the brushed metallic effect is very nicely applied.

There’s a single airflow slot on the base and an LED indicator opposite, illuminating Blue whenever you vape.

So each cartridge contains a TPD Compliant 2ml of flavoured E-liquid and I’m guessing the ratio is probably 50VG/50PG. They come with 20mg (2%) of salt nicotine included.

These aren’t quite your average pick up and vape disposables, though. You’re going to have to assemble the device once you get hold of it.

IVG have thoughtfully included a set of instructions, appearing on the outer carton and enclosed leaflet.

How To Use the IVG 2400 Disposable Vape

• Remove the cap.

• Unpack the four E-liquid cartridges from their blister packs and place inside the battery section, side by side and with the coil/battery contacts facing down

• Push the top cap back on making sure it snaps securely into place
• Align the arrow on the cap with the corresponding numbers on the side of the disposable.

Using very basic maths we can see that each cartridge is designed to last for up to 600 puffs.

Once a cartridge has been vaped it’s a very simple process accessing the next one and no, it doesn’t involve removing the top cap again.

• Pull up on the top half of the disposable. A gap will appear between the two halves. Don’t worry. You haven’t broken anything!
• Carefully rotate the top half of the disposable until the chosen number is over the aligning arrow
• Release the top half of the disposable
• Rotate the top cap until all arrows line up with each other

I like what IVG have done, here. The simple act of lifting the top half of the disposable actually means the next cartridge automatically falls into position above the fixed coil and battery contacts.

A floating cartridge chamber, if you like.

So there are a total of 30 flavours to choose from ranging from beverage, candy, fruit and mint with a healthy dash of ice to top things off.

Some of these are classed as multi flavours. You guessed it. Four different flavour cartridges in one disposable. Why not? Brings out the versatility of the device if you ask me.

Strawberry Mint Menthol Mojito

IVG Says:

Classic Mojito flavours stirred with sweet Strawberries and fresh Mint. The perfect balance of sweet and sour.

I Say:

Wohoo! Another brand new flavour to awaken my tiring taste buds. The Mojito inside this disposable vape is absolutely exquisite. I could even happily vape it as a standalone flavour, I like it that much!

It would be the easiest thing in the world to write of how sweet this one is but IVG have left it simmering – to allow the full fruitiness of the vape to emerge.

You want the sweetness? It’s there, right at the end of the vape. Sugar lips, baby and just right for this particular combination of flavours.

We get the leafy green Mint running slap bang through the centre of the exhale, fusing effortlessly with a Mojito I’m already in love with while the Strawberry lingers around the palate long after the vape is completed.

Personally I would suggest Koolada has been used as opposed to Menthol but it’s easy to get those two mixed up with so much flavour consistency.

With Strawberry Mint Menthol Mojito, IVG are truly showing their mixing capabilities and it’s obvious a lot of care and attention has been put into what is a stand out disposable vape flavour.

Top dollar!

Professor Blue

IVG Says:

Deliciously sweet and sharp Raspberry flavours mixed with fresh Blueberry and finished with an icy kick.

I Say:

Mmm. A bit of a shame. I mean the Raspberry is bright and vibrant in this one but I’m not over keen on the Blueberry.

Yes, the Raspberry has a candy like kick to it and there’s plenty of sweetness but in my mind the Blueberry is hampering things on this occasion.

It’s something that becomes more and more noticeable as the vape progresses.

The inhale is pretty much perfect and we’re treated to a nice icy blast that’s thankfully not too intense. It’s not using my tonsils as a punch bag, in other words.

Don’t get me wrong, it is a saturated and highly consistent flavour but I’m not a fan of the after taste. And I put that down to the Blueberries. Things just go a little pear shaped at the end.

I’m almost reminded by the smell of ammonia. I can’t really describe it any other way. I do know that I’ve been here before. It seems high time Blueberry as a flavour was looked at again. Especially when it’s blended with other ingredients.

As I’m always saying, flavour is subjective. You may well totally disagree.

Blackcurrant Menthol

IVG Says:

Sweet and tart Blackcurrants finished with a cool menthol exhale.

I Say:

I like my Blackcurrant vapes and IVG have done a relatively decent job with this one.

It’s not quite up there with the best and I think this is because it’s just too sweet and too tart for my personal liking.

It a very concentrated taste and definitely lacks the clarity and sparkle I go for with this particular fruit.

In fact I’m almost inclined to suggest the inclusion of Grape – yes, no doubt IVG will shake their heads but I do find myself witnessing an acridity towards the end of the exhale.

Lurking and loitering on the palate in an uninviting way.

The Menthol is spot on. I have no issues whatsoever but that just leaves me wondering what could’ve been with Blackcurrant Menthol.

That’s because this version of the dark fruit doesn’t respond enough to lift the flavour experience to where I’d personally like it.

Fizzy Cherry

IVG Says:

Sweet and sour Cherries with an added fizzy kick for an exciting, sweet combination.

I Say:

Ooh! I wasn’t expecting that. This one is very tangy and well, very.. fizzy. Just as the flavour description states. That’s not always easy to pull off but IVG have and done so in a highly effective fashion.

You see the fizz doesn’t simply abate, it remains for an extended period of time. That’s kind of a new vaping experience for me – and I’m almost ten years in.

There’s not too much sweetness, which I’m grateful for but there is the tartness and sour properties I would expect from this dinky little fruit.

The only blot on this vaping landscape is with the fruit itself. Yes, it’s Cherry but in mass produced form. That’s to say, generic and synthetic tasting.

So if you’ve had a Cherry vape before you’ll already be familiar with the taste.

What you won’t be prepared for is the fizz, pop and tingly sensation that arrives from the exhale. It’s pretty damn good.

The Koolada is on par too and works very effectively with the fizziness.

Heavenly Drops

IVG Says:

Sweet Liquorice, sharp Aniseed and clear, pure Honey combine to create a heavenly flavour in every drop.

I Say:

Man alive! I’ve never tasted a vape like this in pure E-liquid form let alone a disposable.

It’s complete madness. I mean – Liquorice laced in Honey. How does that work for me?

I bloody love it!

It’s one to wake up the taste buds, revitalising them after a tidal wave of samey disposable vapes, let’s put it that way. The inhale as expected from the chosen ingredients is laden with sweetener.

But there’s also an elevated level of sourness to enhance things further prior to an exhale that can only be described as totally unique.

Only IVG seem to have the confidence to pull off such an outlandish flavour combination.

And it may well just be my taste buds but I’m sure there’s some Cinnamon in there to add a spicy fire to the mix.

Well – that could be my interpretation of the Liquorice but either way, its stonkingly good is Heavenly Drops.

Rather interestingly, I pick out the Honey early doors, then as the exhale begins to fade. It also hangs around the palate post vape. I likey..

This version of Honey is the one I’ve been craving for a very long time. Why? Because it’s instantly accessible – you simply know it’s there, sandwiching the Cinna .. sorry Liquorice.

What an amazingly effective flavour combination. Who’d have thunk it?

Heavenly Drops is ‘the’ perfect vape for the festive season if you ask me.

I’ll be asking Santa for some more, that’s for sure!

Strawberry Watermelon

IVG Says:

Mouth-watering Strawberries and Watermelon combined for the perfect burst of juiciness.

I Say:

Wow! I dig this flavour combo and it’s come as a bit of a shock.

This one very much reminds me of my all time favourite E-liquid flavour, and I’m going back a number of years now. The only thing it lacks is the creamy exhale.

The way IVG have blended these two fruits is quite, quite magical. The Strawberry seems to meld with the Watermelon to create a completely unique taste.

And it’s one I’m finding more and more appealing as I vape it.

It starts with a soothing chill to the throat during inhale, followed by a subtle sweetness before that fruity fusion is unleashed on the way out.

The Watermelon is devoid of the usual oily after taste and the ripe Strawberries instantly kick in.

Strawberry Watermelon has well and truly shocked me. I wasn’t expecting this level of detail from a disposable vape.

Quite possibly one of the best I’ve tried in a long time.

Blue Raspberry Ice

IVG Says:

I Say:

Much better than I was anticipating given other experiences with Blueberries in the IVG 2400 range.

This time we’re in for a real fruit fest with the rich, tartness of the Raspberries and delicate, subtle counter notes provided by the Blueberry.

There’s nothing acrid or bitter tasting with this one – something I was actually worried about. Instead the inhale is silky smooth and the Menthol content is amazingly well balanced.

This really is a great pairing of two summer fruits. Yes, they are both candy like in taste but the fusion is on par and highly consistent throughout the entire vape.

Sweetness levels have been pitched perfectly and leave the lips with a nice sugary coating. Just what I like from this flavour profile.

It’s another one of those IVG ‘just one more vape’ creations, methinks.

Kind of says it all, really. Pucker flavour.

Pineapple Ice

IVG Says:

An exciting pairing of sweet and tart Pineapple with icy Menthol. This flavour is juicy and refreshing.

I Say:

I’m quite surprised by Pineapple Ice. The fruit isn’t as ‘in your face’ as it usually is with disposable vapes. Neither is the delicate layering of sweetness applied.

That works in IVG’s favour for two reasons. One, the spiky fruit has a more natural taste. Ok, it’s not as authentic as it could be but two, a reduction in sweetness means it narrowly escapes the trappings of a Pineapple Cube sweet vape experience.

And I think we’re all familiar with that particular flavour. It’s the safe bet for these kind of devices.

So our Pineapple has a more subdued taste – far less searing than usual which makes for a very pleasant change.

Of course a sourness remains and is delivered alongside the sweeter elements while the cooling agent helps to ramp up the overall vape experience from start to end.

Pineapple Ice is a simple affair but that makes it no less an enjoyable one. It’s fruity and it’s cold.

Right now, with this blistering heat I’m all about that from my vape.

Peach Mango Ice

IVG Says:

Sweet Peach and juicy Mango with a touch of cooling Menthol.

I Say:

Knock out!

I’ve had experiences with IVG Peach and Mango in E-liquid bottle format and I’m here to tell you it’s just as good in the 2400 disposable vape.

It could be so easy for one fruit to cancel the other out. Let’s face it, they’re both big on flavour, often warranting their own space. Yet the way these two have been melded together also warrants special attention.

Maybe melded is the wrong word. It’s almost as though they pulse through the exhale. And very swiftly. One second you’ll notice the Peach, the next moment it’s Mango.

In the very brief periods between they do join forces and that’s when I think the true magic unveils itself.

It’s another flavour combo I’ve yet to experience from a disposable vape. We have to put that down to the unique way in which IVG tackle flavour mixing.

Yes, the Peach isn’t quite as realistic as I’d have liked but the Mango certainly is. Many of you will probably be sighing in relief at that statement!

There’s only one way the scoring can go with Peach Mango Ice. A masterclass in flavour mixing and a real treat for the ‘ole taste buds.

Lemon and Lime

IVG Says:

An incredible citrus mix that’s fruity and sweet with a touch of sourness.

I Say:

This one hits the mark and no mistake! If it’s a flavour explosion you’re looking for, look no further.

Once again, IVG demonstrate just how good they are at fusing fruits into one consistent taste.

There’s oodles of sourness drawn in during inhale and what you would expect given the fruity duo. They go together like Del and Rodney or Laurel and Hardy.

There’s no mistaking this blend and what I especially like is the cooling agent. It works its magic from start to end and really amplifies the Lemon and Lime.

Of course there’s the obligatory sweetness involved throughout but it never seizes control. This Lemon is lively and this Lime is punchy.

A citric, sour, sweet and slightly bitter taste runs through the core of the vape and the end result is as refreshing as it gets.

This one’ll work a treat during the hot Summer period.

Battery Performance and Number of Puffs

On average I squeezed eight hours use from each cartridge. With my regular vaping patterns that equates to around 575 puffs.

There’s a but.

But I was also restrictive lung vaping most of the time since the device allowed it. So I can therefore state unequivocally that each cartridge will offer 600 puffs – easily, if MTL vaping is your style.

It took three whole days to get through the 1500mAh battery. Not bad going, remembering that I have a habit of chain vaping.

And whenever I felt the flavour becoming dull or muted I rotated over to the next cartridge.

So I think it’s safe to say the IVG 2400 lives up to its name. Certainly can’t say that about all disposables.

Final Review Verdict

The big draw with the IVG 2400 disposable range is in the flavour mixing.

If you’re going to have a disposable last for an extended period of time the flavour needs to be good. Otherwise boredom can strike and extra puffs count for nothing, really.

Well IVG have obviously considered this and given us such an original fusion of fruity flavours that they’re very hard to put down.

Consistency also plays a major part and each cartridge is the real deal.

Yes, I instinctively knew when each was reaching the end of its use, rotating across to the next one when I thought flavour was fading.

It’s so damn easy and convenient to operate the 2400 disposables, too. Lift the top half, re-position and slide the mouthpiece over. How simple but cool is that!

For sure I’ve had the odd comment or two about size but also of how convenient they are for when going away on holiday, for example. These disposables should easily last the average vaper the best part of a week.

There’s no need to worry about charging cables and wall sockets. The fact battery capacity tees up with the duration of four cartridges is another plus point.
