FEELM release their latest disposable vape and guess what? It’s raising the bar on the number of puffs for a 2ml tank.

This particular disposable has been getting a lot of attention, having been unveiled at the 2023 UK Vaper Expo. Companies such as RELX, Totally Wicked and Kiwi were present for the launch of the new TPD compliant disposable – capable of up to 800 puffs from a 2ml tank capacity.

Yes, that’s right. It wasn’t a typo. FEELM are setting a new benchmark with their latest Cylindrical series disposable vape.

Are we about to get more bang for our buck? And just how have FEELM achieved this?

What Can We Expect From the FEELM MAX 800 Puff Disposable Vape?

FEELM know that ceramic as a heating material brings its own set of strengths when compared to traditional disposable cotton wick coils. Of course, ceramic has been used before in vape devices but FEELM are the first to introduce it to disposable vapes.

We’ve already seen demonstrations of this with the FEELM MAX Disposable Vape and the FEELM MAX 6,000 puff disposable reviews.

S1 Ceramic Coil Tech

Once again their proprietary S1 ceramic coil is at the beating heart of the device. We’ve already looked at the benefits of this tech in the previously mentioned reviews but here’s the low down.

The coil benefits from a cotton free design in many ways. Without liquid absorption it’s able to boost the puff count by more than 30% – the reason we’re being assured of 800 with this TPD compliant disposable.

Impurities commonly associated with standard heating material are dramatically reduced by up to 78%. So instead of dry hits or periodic burnt tasting vapes, we’re now assured flavour consistency throughout the lifetime of the product.

Expect a cleaner, fresher taste that’s also devoid of the occasional ‘wetness’ often experienced from standard heating wires.

Power Management

A constant power energy management solution has also been put into place, to offer a continuously stable vaping experience. This is recognised by the consistency of vapour production – at 95%.

So instead of flavour tapering off as the battery depletes, it’s boosted by 35% to ensure intensity of taste for much longer.

Vaping Transparency

FEELM’s CMF Lab has refined the mouth piece design through intricate research, developing a scientifically ergonomic model for the vaping industry. So it is hoped manufacturers will also adopt this transparent design.

Sustainability and Partnership

As this initiative gains traction it’s hoped the scheme may act as a model for other industries as they too push to implement similar practices.

My scores will take into consideration a number of factors.

It’s not just about flavour and cloud. It’s about consistency, overall performance and longevity with the FEELM MAX 800 puff disposable vape.

Ultimately how well does the FEELM MAX S1 coil perform? All will be revealed.

Green Arrow Mint

I Say:

For a minty vape this one’s quite sweet.

It’s more akin to Spearmint than Peppermint because there’s a smoother inhale. And it’s a very clean, refreshing mint to boot. A highly consistent taste that certainly lasts the course in terms of exhale – and then some.

It loiters on both taste buds and the palate for a considerable time thereafter.

Yes, this is a simple single flavour designed to showcase the benefits of the S1 ceramic coil but the Koolada does much to amplify taste on its own merits.

.. There’s definitely an intensity to the vape and that vapour production is, without a doubt, a dramatic improvement over standard disposable vapes.

Aloe Grape

I Say:

If you’ve ever read any of my disposable vape reviews you’ll know how much I despise Grape vapes. That’s obviously no fault of the manufacturer as there are no doubt millions that do like it.

So I can’t really score the review down simply because of personal preference. To be honest, Aloe Grape isn’t as bad as I expected. The harshness, bitterness and acrid taste has been masked by the presence of Aloe Vera.

Yet the incessant sweetness remains to remind of why I so dislike the flavour profile. So does that infuriatingly artificial taste of Grape.

The Koolada amplifies everything that’s projected by the exhale and once again, does have a stinging effect on the throat. Another negative Neil moment, I’m afraid.

Flavour intensity and consistency prevails with Aloe Grape and each vape is a carbon copy of the last. So it really does seem to be the S1 ceramic coil is doing a highly effective job.

And again, vapour production is exceedingly impressive for a disposable.

Litchi and Passion Fruit Orange

I Say:

This is a pleasant combination of flavours. I get the Litchi and I get the Orange. They fuse together really well – working much better than I expected.

The inhale is incredibly smooth and topped with a sensible layering of Koolada. It’s nothing on the scale of brain freeze which is something else I fully appreciate.

The Litchi strikes out before the Oranges do (still the artificial type) as they envelope and mingle. Everything is bound together by a delicate lacing of sweetness for good measure.

I’m a big fan of Litchi because it reminds me of Turkish Delight so it’s a slight disappointment the Orange isn’t quite as fresh tasting as I’d hoped for. Perhaps I’m asking too much from a disposable vape?

However, it must be noted that every single vape is as consistent as the last. I really do feel I’m getting the best possible taste, duplicated with every exhale.

And vapour production far exceeds that of a traditional disposable.

Battery Performance and Number of Puffs

Truly remarkable!

I was beginning to wonder when this unassuming little disposable was actually going to run out. It took twelve and a half hours. Clearly I tested all three to make certain there were no inconsistencies and all results came in the same.

So on the one hand I’ve ascertained that battery power management works exactly as FEELM have described. On the other, I estimated a puff total in the region of 900. This obviously trumps their very own claims!

Absolutely incredible stuff.

It must be noted that I was unable to find out the battery capacity. With results like these I’m guessing it must be over 600mAh, but I am only guessing.

Final Review Verdict

Both hands do come with a caveat and one that kind of puts the brakes on things, bringing us firmly back to reality.

I noticed a shift in flavour property after around 5 hours of use. The usual cleanliness and intensity of the vape took a drastic nose drive.

Happening quite suddenly and noticeable enough to effect enjoyment of the vape from then on. Not great given this occurs half way through use.

The best example came with Green Arrow Mint. It just started to taste funky. The flavour and attached sweetness of the mint definitely eroded yet didn’t present any signs of dryness or burning.

But the flavour had definitely altered. It wasn’t the best of experiences but certainly one of the strangest.

The Koolada also dropped out to a degree and yet vapour production continued to be as impressive as ever.

Therefore I cannot confirm that flavour consistency is holding from first vape to last. That’s a shame because battery life and puff count claims are most certainly on par.

It must be stressed that I received samples. FEELM may very well still be finalising the finer details to their MAX 800 puff disposable vape.

The product on review today is merely a vessel through which FEELM demonstrate their innovative tech.

And it’s reassuring to know that they’re continuously smashing through doors to bring us the very best experiences from a disposable vape.

What Can We Expect From the FEELM MAX 6000 Puff Disposable Vape?

Despite the size, despite the capacity, this disposable is TPD compliant. That’s because it doesn’t contain nicotine. No freebase – no nicotine salt.

Once again it comes complete with the S1 ceramic coil, a world first for any disposable.

I’ve gone over the benefits in a previous review but they’re worth mentioning again because the differences are quite staggering when compared to traditional coil types used in disposables.

S1 Ceramic coil

One of the reasons this version of the FEELM MAX disposable is capable of up to 6000 puffs is due to the ceramic coil. Traditional cotton absorbs more E-liquid – ceramic doesn’t so the puff count is increased by a whacking 30%.

The S1 ceramic coil attracts 78% fewer impurities. So each vape tastes cleaner and tastier for longer. Because the aerosol (vapour) particulates are much finer (anywhere up to 35%) the inhale is much smoother and more satisfying.

In fact vapour production is increased by a whopping 95% when compared to traditional disposable vapes.

FEELM’s ceramic coil tech is also said to increase flavour performance and overall consistency by 35%.

We’ve all experienced ‘spit back’ from even the most enjoyable of disposables but the S1 ceramic coil reduces the chances of this happening by a massive 54.6%.

An impressive set of stats and percentages, I think. But that’s not all.

TOPOWER Tech

The latest addition to the cylindrical series demonstrates FEELM’s new breakthrough TOPOWER tech of the 2000mAh integrated battery.

Meaning the potential for a massive 6000 puffs from a non-rechargeable vape. Yes, that’s right. Forget about USB charging cables or vaping down time.

TOPOWER tech had been designed to demonstrate single use battery efficiency, drain and consistency over a prolonged period of use. It’s all about a constant power output, reducing the loss of taste caused by voltage drop.

So power management is significantly improved using FEELM’s new tech. As an example, if the disposable were to be left for 6 months it would lose a mere 1% of charge. Or 3% if left for an entire year!

We’re basically guaranteed a longer shelf life through lower discharge values.

Not too shabby when you consider the battery is 30% smaller than standard disposables yet offers a 30% increase to overall capacity.

OK, it’s time to see how the two samples of the FEELM Max 6000 Puff Disposable Vapes perform. FEELM have already given us the areas to look at.

Obviously flavour and vapour production are prerequisites but I’m also looking for consistency from both over the duration of 6000 puffs.

How does the battery hold up under regular to heavy vaping? And does the FEELM Max cylindrical series disposable prevent oral residue?

Hopefully I’ll be able to answer these questions at the end of the review.

I wasn’t able to find any flavour descriptions for these particular ones so I’m going in blindfolded.

Mango Passion Fruit Ice

I Say:

This is predominantly Mango for a smooth and tasty tropical treat. I get more of the Passion Fruit on the inhale with a slight rough edge accompanying it.

Mango is responsible for the bulk of the vape and comes complete with a sweet, juicy quality with every exhale.

It’s actually refreshing thanks to the addition of Koolada and does well to quench the thirst.

Double Apple Ice

I Say:

It was a pleasant change to not be overwhelmed by a tidal wave of Koolada during the inhale!

Double Apple means Double Apple! It’s a very intense flavour on the exhale. Yes, it’s a very synthetic, artificial tasting version of Adam’s favourite fruit but it does manage to last the course throughout.

There’s no flavour fading, no dryness. Just a purity for better way of describing it.

The taste is very clean. I’m inclined to put some of that down to a lack of nicotine. There’s nothing to mask or tarnish the flavour in this respect.

You’ll get more of that Koolada after the exhale. It tends to build and layer after a few quick tugs but never to the extent of ripping the tonsils apart. Phew!

S1 Ceramic Coil Performance

Incredibly impressive.

No spit back and not a single dry hit. Dry hitting is something you would expect when either the battery fails or if the cotton has dried. Sometimes it happens if a disposable is left on its side. Since we’re dealing with ceramic that just doesn’t happen.

Trust me – I was readying myself towards the end!

Both flavours tested were consistently clean and well defined from the very first puff. Yes, that flavour did start to erode but with next to no e-liquid present within the tank I kind of expected that.

Put it this way. It’ll take a very long time before you start noticing any change.

Battery Performance and Number of Puffs

Here’s the rub.

I amassed a whopping 42.5 hours use from the disposable. This was spread out over the course of 5 days. I always base my puff count as being around 72 per hour and that is an average.

Rounding those figures up, taking into account a few longer RDL vapes here and there and the total number of puffs weighs in at 3,200.

So that’s clearly somewhere off the suggested figure of 6,000 but the truth is I was gobsmacked at how well the battery performed.

In fact the E-liquid ran dry before the battery had a chance to run out. It could easily have continued on its merry way otherwise.

There are just two things I wish I were privy to. E-liquid capacity and battery capacity (although it’s hinted as being 2,000mAh)

We could also look at it another way. I chain vape. The disposable was never far away from my lips. This combination of E-liquid and battery capacity will easily last the new or casual vaper in the region of 2 weeks.

Think. Two weeks of consistently flavoursome (nic free) vaping without having to recharge the device.

Pretty damn special, in my opinion.

Final Review Verdict

I’m thoroughly impressed by the power, performance and flavour consistency of the FEELM MAX 6000 puff disposable. The TOPOWER tech works in perfect unison with E-liquid capacity and the S1 ceramic coil does the rest.

It’s an effective merging of innovative technology and FEELM have smashed it out of the park.

If leading vape manufacturers don’t latch onto the longevity, the reliability and flavour capabilities of this disposable then I’ll be a Monkey’s Uncle.

..Some say I already am!

You may not be getting anywhere near the suggested number of puffs but you’ll be vaping for a very long time – away from any wall sockets.

Ceramic absorbs less E-liquid than cotton so there’s less wasted. This means the number of puffs is increased by 30% with the new S1 ceramic coil.

Cleaner taste, less impurities

After vaping, impurities are reduced by 78%, providing a cleaner, tastier vape in comparison to traditional cotton based disposable pods.

Ultimately cleaner

Moisture and sweetness often builds up on the lining of the tongue when using traditional cotton based vaping products. The FEELM MAX S1 coil leaves only a freshness on the tongue.

Appearance and Presentation

I must admit I was pretty gobsmacked by the presentation box the FEELM Max Disposable Vapes arrived in.

At first I was pulling on the carry handle in my efforts to slide the contents out!

.. What a numpty!

The cylindrical shaped packaging, a clear nod to the cylindrical design of the disposable, opens out to reveal three samples carefully placed inside a foam stand.

The presentation is awesome so full kudos to FEELM for such thoughtful presentation here.

The disposables themselves are also encased inside a plastic vial with rubber stoppers each end to seal them for flavour freshness.

There’s not much to fault when it comes to design and build quality, either. This is your classic looking disposable vape.

What I like about them is the colour tinting on the mouthpiece/viewing window and underside. Orange, Green or Blue. Perfectly matching the colours of the disposables themselves.

It’s a simple idea but an effective one where it comes to appearance.

Ok it’s time for the acid test. Well, the vaping test actually. Not overly keen on vaping acid, me!

There are no flavour descriptions to work from so I’m going in blind folded. It’s going to be interesting how ceramic actually compares to traditional cotton wicking material in a disposable.

Please note: The scores represent my opinion of the flavours. In no way are they an indication of how well the disposable functions.

Berry Ice

I Say:

A veritable cocktail of fruits is delivered on the exhale accompanied by copious amounts of sweetness.

The sweetness of the vape tends to linger longer than the actual flavour properties. It hits the taste buds and lingers on the tongue – but in a rather pleasant way.

It doesn’t interfere with those mixed berries and actually compliments the mix.

I think Strawberry and Raspberry are the key players here. There may even be a dash of Blueberry thrown in there but generally this is a concoction of Summer fruits.

They all combine to create a nice fruity fusion and the Ice content is up there with any other self respecting disposable vape.

That’s to say it hits quite hard on the inhale.

Kyoho Grape

I Say:

Uh Oh! Some of you may be aware that I’m not the biggest fan of Grape vapes.

Unfortunately my opinion hasn’t changed today, whether Kyoho Grape or not.

But there does seem to be a difference and it’s significant enough. This version is nowhere near as sickly or sweet as I was expecting. Sure, there’s enough sweetness drawn into the inhale but it’s dispersed more effectively during the vape itself.

I’m not entirely sure if that has anything to do with aerosol and particulates but as much as I despise Grape vapes, Kyoho Grape certainly has a much cleaner taste.

You could also call it a refined taste yet not subtle in any way.

There does seem to be cursory levels of Koolada included but it’s quite low key. I honestly wish more manufacturers toned down the intensity of Ice in their vapes. But that’s just me.

I think if anything, Kyoho Grape demonstrates how well the S1 ceramic coil functions.

Lemon Lime

I Say:

Knock out!

This one steals the show and I’ll tell you why.

It’s incredibly refreshing. From the opening inhale and its cooling effect on the throat to the pure cleanliness of flavour on the way out.

Lemon Lime is a showcase for the effectiveness of the S1 ceramic coil. The sourness of the Lemon and tartness of the Lime are the lynchpin here, binding both fruits together.

Those fruits jump out of the vape in a way I don’t often experience. Again, neither is over saturated and there’s a perfect balance during exhale.

You would have to consider this a beverage style vape over a fruit inspired creation, in my opinion. The Koolada makes certain of that but I can be a picky sod by suggesting it tasers the tonsils a bit.

I’d definitely cool the engines on that score but it is what it is.

I’ve tried a few Lemon and Lime vapes in my time and I’m here to tell you.

This is definitely one of the most refreshing and natural tasting versions going.

Coil Performance

I’m highly impressed.

Every vape was as consistent for flavour as the last, I experienced no spit back or leaking of E-liquid into the mouth. There was no throat irritation and my tongue and mouth did actually feel more refreshed. Even after extensive vaping.

The S1 ceramic coil responded reliably right up to the last puff.

Battery Performance

It’s a 400mAh integrated battery so we can’t really expect miracles. Seven hours seems a fair duration given there were times I was chain vaping.

Number of Puffs

FEELM hasn’t stated the number of puffs but it’s safe to say you can expect anywhere in the region of 500.

Final Review Verdict

Flavour quality was awesome! I particularly liked the way in which sweetener was used. Not too intense while leaving a satisfactory mark on the ‘ole taste buds.

And oh how those flavours tasted clean. It’s hard to describe but they tasted more refined and consistent. It didn’t seem to taper off in the way standard disposables can.

The palate did always seem to retain a freshness instead of a stickiness, if that makes any sense.

Vapour production definitely needs a special mention.

The S1 ceramic coil certainly has the edge over standard cotton wicking. Not only was the inhale silky smooth but the cloud production was fantastic. Much more volume than I was expecting.

Flavour freshness instead of flavour intensity. That’s probably one way to describe the FEELM Max disposable vapes.

And if you ask me, I honestly think the S1 ceramic coil should be featuring in many, many more disposables vapes as we move forwards. Simply because the cleanliness of the exhale offers something completely new.

As a company, FEELM really leave no stone unturned when it comes to research and development. So it will be interesting to see if they really have created a pod system that stands head and shoulders above all others.

What Can We Expect From The Air Vape Pod by FEELM ?

Parent company SMOORE are a huge player in the vape world with their best known brand Vaporesso producing some vape favourites in recent years.

Design and Build Quality

I received 2 devices in the kit. One was black and the other lime green.

The first thing that jumps out is how ‘thin’ the FEELM Air is.  At just 7.8mm, and touted as being the thinnest vape pod in the world, the Air certainly has that sleek, delicate look and feel to it.

Despite the size it certainly feels solid while being super light weight.

The only other device that comes close is the Suorin Air that comes in at 8mm depth. Now just waiting for the 7.7mm version from Suorin now :). Let the thin pod wars begin!

As with the Suorin Air, the whole design very much reminds me of the vaping version of Apple. Maybe the name “Air’ is a little homage to the super thin Macbooks of the same name.

The sleek body is only interrupted by two ‘pin hole’ airflow holes on either side, four led lights and the USB-C charge port on the base.

When vaping the battery actually vibrates, I’m guessing this is the Shock-Wave mode. Not 100% if this has any practical function but it’s not something that put me off vaping.

Considering the good amount of vape time I get the vibration doesn’t seem to have an effect on battery life.

The  Pod

The pod keeps the same slim form factor marrying perfectly with the sleek lines of the battery/body. The pods are prefilled so once empty just pop another on the battery.

E-liquid can be seen if you pull the pod out of the mod, although you will likely need to hold it up-to a light source to see remaining levels.

I’ve used so many pods in the past where I have pods lying around with no idea what they are without doing a sniff/vape test.

Small details, like including the flavour name on the Air pod, go a long way and are appreciated.

Unfortunately there are no details of the pod capacity or nic strength. I’ll be sure to update when I find out more.

The pods are kept in place via a magnet, the only downside I can see is that the pod does have a little wobble when in place. Not a massive issue and it doesn’t effect performance but with the quality and attention to detail that has gone into the Air I would have like to see the pod sit a little more snug.

Under the Bonnet

There is of course a lot going on under the bonnet so to speak on both pod and the battery. It all gets a little bit too technical for me so I’d recommend watching this quick video that explains all the work that has gone into the device.

How Does the FEELM Air Vape Pod Perform?

The Air is a ‘plug and play’ type device. To get started remove the pod from the packaging, remove the plugs in the pod and pop it into the battery. You will feel a little vibration of the battery to let you know that the pod has landed. That’s it!

Flavour and Clouds

I received two flavours in the kit, Mango and Polar Mint. The new Flavor Lock technology is said to produce 33% more flavour than previous models.

All I can say is they are very similar to the flavours that came with the RELX pod systems I reviewed a while back as well as the previous FEELM review. So rather than repeat myself you can check out the Mango and Mint review here.

The flavour from both are very good and do exactly what they say on the tin.

The inhale is very smooth on the throat and the exhale produces a decent cloud, at least for me, I’m not into big chunky clouds on my ‘out and about’ vape.

Airflow

As a mouth to lung vape the airflow is just about right for me in terms of resistance. Not too loose/not too tight. You can also get a good restricted direct to lung vape if that’s your thing.

Although you might want to take it easy doing this too much with the Polar Mint flavour, very icy on the back of the throat!

Leaking

Quite simply, not even a drop of moisture was found in the time that this was used and I drained both pods. So massive plus points for the those looking for a leak free vape.

Battery Life

One of the main features of the FEELM Air is the 10 minute charge and 8 hour vape time.

From dead the battery took about 15-18 minutes for full charge. Very good indeed. As for vape time, we will all differ but I managed a full day of moderate vaping before the battery needed a recharge. I would say pretty good going.

Pros

• It’s thin and lightweight – great pod vape for out and about
• Very well built overall
• Very fast charge time
• Very good flavour
• Zero leaking
• Ready to vape out of the box
• Great for first time vapers or for the more experienced as an out and about vape

Cons

• Slight movement when the pod is seated in the battery (Being a little picky here)

Final Review Verdict

The FEELM Air is a slim, portable device that, going by the accompanying details, has a lot going on internally. So while it’s great to see new innovation in pod systems like this the end user really just want’s to know ‘is it any good?’

The simple answer is yes. The build quality, form factor, flavour and ease of use ticks all the boxes.

If you are looking to make the switch from smoking or, if like me, you want something you can slide in your back pocket when you go out without fear of leaving a juice stain then the Air pod system is one to have on your radar.
