I say “under the radar” as this is not on the Asmodus website, but has been promoted on their social media and is showing on a few different vendor websites.

Due to the lack of an official website page for this kit – the details are slightly sketchy and there are very few images available – I apologise in advance!

More Details On The Asmodus Xeneo Kit…

I will tell you what I do know and the first main feature is that this is indeed a pod kit.

You will need a single 18650 battery to power the mod and there is a variable wattage output from 5-80W.

The body has been designed to be curvy so it is comfortable to grip and also compact in size.

There is mention of a screen but the size and type are not specified. Also unknown is the type of charging port – some vendors do not mention a charging port or cable whereas others simply say it has USB charging.

Looking at the pod now – again details are very vague – there are 2 different coil options and the coils do seem to be removable / replaceable.

There is a 0.4ohm Mesh coil and 1.1ohm vertical wire coil available and both are included in the kit.

A bottom airflow adjustment control ring is provided to tailor the airflow to suit your style of vaping and the coil installed.

The pod is refillable but I cannot find the pod capacity anywhere!

Considering some of the vendor sites are saying an end of May shipping date – the details of this product are still very foggy!

There are 4 colour options to choose from: White, Silver, Black and Red.

What Is Different About The Asmodus Anani V2 MTL RTA?

One of the main issues that shocked me when I wrote the preview in 2019 for the original was the lack of airflow adjustment. Yes the airflow was fixed – which seemed very strange to me on a MTL RTA.

So on version 2 the airflow is adjustable and Asmodus say themselves…

“The lack of airflow control was a mistake so, we included an airflow control system within the new Anani.”

Sadly there are not many images on the Asmodus website I am afraid!

Another change is the diameter – this has been reduced to 22mm instead of 24.5mm. A lot of MTL RTA are 22mm in order to be used on smaller box and tube mods.

The build deck is apparently the same as the original – but it would have been nice to see an image of this.

The kit contents have also changed to include Kanthal wire coils instead of the Nickel found in the original kit.

There are 4 colours to choose from – Gold, Stainless Steel Blasted, Black and Stainless Steel Brushed.

The device has oodles of features and available in 5 colours, but is this mod worthy of its Minikin Monica?

Asmodus (asMODus) is an American vapour company that manufactures and distributes through their base in LA, California.

Many people class Asmodus mods as high-end!

I must admit they are good, I have quite a few Minikin mods in my own collection, V1 and V2 as well as the Boost and Reborn.

I’ve yet to get my mitts on the Kodama and Minikin 3S.

What Can We Expect From the Asmodus Minikin V3?

Asmodus released two versions of this device, the V3 and 3S!

The only difference I can ascertain between the two, aside from the hefty price tag is the 3S has finger print capability a slightly different chassis design and comes bundled as a kit with the Viento Sub Ohm tank.

The Asnodus Minikin V3 has a full colour touch screen, its run by the GX-200-UTC Chipset and powered by dual 18650 batteries.

The mod has an ergonomically shaped chassis, and mine has same soft touch covering off the Minikin V2.

The ASmodus Minikin V3 mod has many features like TCR and TFR, power curve, presets for many wires types, haptic feedback, G-Sensor and wireless charging capability.

This product was sent to me for the purpose of review, and as always my thoughts and views are my own after a considerable testing period.

Design and Build Quality

When I received this mod it came in a cardboard box with a warranty card, battery safety card and a green card explaining the user manual can be found on the Asmodus website to save paper!

BTW, the USB-C cable was inside the battery case.

Asmodus Minikin V3 Mod

What a weird shape this thing is, they call it ergonomic still I’m not complaining it’s very comfortable to hold in either hand and has the same type of soft covering that the V2 had.

At around 89mm tall the Asmodus Minikin V3 is slightly taller than the V2.

Made of zinc-alloy the mod is heavy, even more so when your batteries and tank are in place!

The mod chipset for this device is the GX-200-UTC which I believe is the same set as the Asmodus Lustro had but with slightly different functions.

From the Top of the Asmodus Minikin V3

The connection point is flush and made of stainless steel and is the standard small Asmodus design.

The device will take atomizers up to 26mm in diameter – if they had moved the connection point to be more centralized larger diameter atomizers could have been used.

The 510 connection pin is spring loaded and silver plated, the threads have been turned well.

The screen is colourful, clear and bright it shows you everything that you would expect to see and measures to around 0.96 of an inch.

To adjust any of the settings with this device you have to use the touch screen.

Under the screen is the USB-C charge/update port.

The firing button is made from stainless steel and is located on the front of the device under the atomizer – the button is very clicky and fires instantaneously.

As you can see Asmodus has moulded its logo into the back of the device.

Bottom Of the Asmodus Minikin V3

You will see that Asmodus has printed the usual safety marks, and have included 6 battery vent holes.

The battery door is a slide and clip style, which works wonderfully well, and you will also see contacts for the wireless charger (sold separately).

Inside the battery door there’s the usual battery orientation marks and contacts. You will see the red and blue plus minus symbols, and the sled is made of plastic.

The mod has great quality with a very good design, it’s a heavy beast and even though the shape is different it is curiously comfortable in either hand.

Asmodus Minikin V3 – Quick Start Guide

• Open the battery door, place two 18650 batteries into the mod.
• You can charge the batteries and update the firmware via the USB–C port also with the optional wireless charge deck; although Asmodus do not recommend the deck or USB for charging! Which begs the question why sell the deck?? Personally I always swap out batteries and use a Smart charger.

Operation

• Clicking the fire button x5 fast to turn the device on, the device will ask you if the batteries are a married pair, touch yes to carry on.
• Clicking the fire button x3 will lock the system.

ASmodus Minikin V3 – System Settings

• X5 clicks of the fire button will activate the menu system – by swiping your finger across the screen you will access options like –
• Turning the device off
• Puff count erase
• Eco (stealth vape)
• Firmware upgrade
• Version
• Screen colours
• Brightness
• Selection mode – slide or click
• Screen time adjust
• Haptic Vibration settings

Adjustments and Wire Selections

• From the main screen swipe down to unlock the device, you can then touch the wattage and change it up or down.
• Swipe up you can change the puff strength Soft, Normal, Hard.

The device will adjust from 5 to 200w and TC from 5 -120.0W, Temp range is 212-572°F / 100-300°C.

By touching and swiping the power you can select Ni200, Titanium, SS316, SS317, and SS304 as well as Power Curve, TCR and TFR.

Asmodus Minikin V3 – Protections

The device has 9 protections some of these include –

Short-Circuit, Overheat and Overtime Protection.

Of course I have not covered the functions of all the settings, please see the downloadable user manual, you will find firmware updates on the same page!

How Does the Minikin V3 Device Perform?

I have used quite a few tanks and RDA’s with this unit in the time I have been testing it and all have worked well.

Starting with the Axis RTA at 10w up to 30w with the airflow cut down and a 0.6Ω SS316L coil, set on hard puff, I found the Minikin V3 was fast to fire, where’s some other high powered mods seem to struggle with a low powered vape the Minikin V3 didn’t.

Next I used the Freemax mesh Pro subohm tank at 50w the coil was 0.2Ω set on normal puff, again it was fast to fire with great results, I then pushed the wattage up to 70w with no problem.

Lastly I used the Passage RDA with 0.17Ω dual Kanthal coils, starting at 65w with a normal puff strength, the delivery was a great; I went to 80w and dropped the puff strength down to soft, and got good vape results.

I then said hang it and went straight to 120w that was a wee bit hot and when I tried 150w it nearly took my head off lol.

Asmodus Minikin V3 – Temp Control

While I’m impressed with the function of the device in power and power curve mode, I could not for the life of me get TC to fire no matter what I did, and there is no firmware update for TC as yet!

Asmodus Minikin V3 – Battery Life

50 to 60w I get about 3 to 3.5 hours of vape time! The higher wattage the quicker the batteries will drain which makes sense lol.

The battery graphics annoy me they seem to mess around after you have taken a puff going down then back up when the unit is at rest!

Haptic error message is great, if your battery power is too low for the wattage you have set, it turns on and give you a little buzz!

The mod has a unique way of auto change of the screen colours, they call this G-Sensor if the option is turned on via the menu a gravity shake of the unit will change the colours.

First thing I did was to turn this off to one colour only lol.

Pros

• Excellent overall quality
• Ergonomic design – especially for lefties like me
• Easy to read screen

• TC mode for SS316L doesn’t seem to work
• Non centred 510 connection

Final Review Verdict

The Asmodus Minikin V3 is, overall, a good mod, though the menu system can seem confusing to start with – but once you learn it it’s easy to find what you’re looking for!

The mod is a heavy beast with the batteries and atomizer in place.

Not being able to get the TC to work is a pain and it meant I could not test the unit to its full capability!

I will contact Asmodus to see if they can help – so watch this space for an update!

Would I recommend the Asmodus Minikin V3?

Here’s the rub – if you are after a mod specifically for temperature control, then as the mod stands I couldn’t recommend it, but if you don’t care about TC like me, then yes I say go for it!

Although with the amount of options this mod has, I could only recommend it to medium up to experienced vapers!

Would I buy this mod again due loss or damage?

Yes and No – while this is a good mod, make no mistake about that, I am concerned about the TC not working for me.

AsMODus are based out of LA in America and have been in the Vape game from 2014.

Now you are bound to have seen some of their stabilized wood mods in a brick and mortar store or online and pretty much put a 3 figure price tag in your head with the name.

This is not asMODus’s first go at a non stabilized wood mod, there has been several iterations of the very popular affordable asMODus Minikin. There is also the asMODus Spruzza squonker – the Mini Minikin and the Lustro.

Not to mention a number of RBAs including the Blank RDA and the Triad Genesis RDTA – to name just a couple.

What Can We Expect From The Asmodus Tribeaut Mod?

A tiny single 18650 Mod, the Asmodus Tribeaut can take an RBA up to 30mm, yes, 30mm with the tiniest, practically unnoticeable overhang. I know triple battery mods that will give you overhang with 30mm tanks.

Asmodus has a good name in the vaping industry for their hard working and durable mods as well as some of the most beautiful mods you will see out there.

Currently available in 3 colour options, there are online pics of blue and brown also but I can’t find them to purchase anywhere online.

Sturdy and reliable chipsets, I’m expecting this to be yet another workhorse.

Design and Build Quality

The Asmodus Tribeaut mod is a triangular style box mod. Small and compact with a huge deck diameter.

The build quality is first class, pretty much what you would expect from Asmodus. No Battery, battery door or button rattle whatsoever.

The 510 pin is spring mounted with quite a good amount of movement. It’s not gold plated but seriously, does this really make a difference???

The deck itself is central on-top of the box mod and can easily take a 30mm tank without any overhang, for such a small mod this is very impressive. Yep, I know, unbelievable for a single battery mod, but here is the FP sitting ontop which is bang on 30mm.

How Does The Asmodus Tribeaut Mod Perform?

Let’s get into the nuts of this little device.  For such a small mod, it comes with quite a bit.

We will look at this basically from two perspectives, Mouth To lung vaping and Direct Lung vaping.

As a Mouth to Lung Mod, with a fully charged 18650 battery inserted. The battery is going to last you the guts of a day, without issues and that is vaping at 15W.

Direct Lung vaping is not going to last you that long. Let’s think about this for a second.

Say you place the UWell Valyrian 2 tank on this, the minimum wattage is in fact 80W. I’m telling you now, ’cause I tested this myself, after the 6th pull, you are going to notice a difference in that vape.

AsMODus Tribeaut Fire Button

With the shape of the mod, the fire button can easily be either thumb or finger fired, it is perfectly positioned for both.

To switch the mod on, it’s the usual 5 clicks. To switch off, no, it’s not 5 clicks. 5 clicks takes you to the menu.

To switch the mod off, you will start with 5 clicks. The first option in the menu is to power off, the you will press either the up or down button.

Might take a bit of getting used too, the first few times you may find yourself swearing a few times but you’ll get used to it…eventually.

The Asmodus Tribeaut Mod Battery Door

The battery door located on the base of the Asmodus Tribeaut mod slides open. The door itself does feel quite wobbly when it is open. Closed, with battery in or not, the door is kept firmly in place without any fear of it accidentally opening.

When inserting the battery, the positive goes to the top, so make sure and insert the positive end first.

When you first switch on the Asmodus Tribeaut, a message will appear on the screen “The battery w/o damage only!”. The left button is to select YES and the right NO. We will get into the screen and menus later – oh boy.

If you select NO a battery symbol will flash on the screen with the word CHECK below it. At this point you will not be able to use the mod, the only way to power it off will be to remove the battery.

Not a bad safety feature.

Charging the battery can be done from the USB port, I would always recommend using an external battery charger.

For one, you will be charging at least once a day, secondly, you can’t vape it while it’s charging.

Try to and you will get “No Fire” displayed on the screen.

The Screen and Controls

Ok, so yes it has a screen, unfortunately, like Dracula, you will never see it in direct sunlight.

Indoors the screen is not too bad, although you will need to put it to full brightness. The screen is also a bit camera shy as you will see below, that is at full brightness.

Let’s get to the controls and menu.

As mentioned before, 5 clicks gets you to the menu, not the universal 3 clicks or a combination of buttons. For some reason someone thought we will use 5 clicks.

Continuing to press the fire button will take you through the menu options:

• Power Off
• Mode
• PWR
• Temp
• Curve
• TCR
• TFR
• Brightness
• Puff Count
• Exit

Now, when you start playing with the menus, be patient. Once you select for example “Mode”, you then press either the left or right button to enter that sub menu.

Once in the sub menu, you navigate it with the left and right button, not the fire button as you did in the main menu and as logic would dictate. Select your desired mode using the fire button.

My head hurts just trying to think about it.

Various Power Modes

There are power modes in there that the average vaper are never going to look at, in fact, very few hardened vapers are going to use them, namely Temp Control (Yes I know there are some of you out there), Curve, TFR (Temperature Factor of Resistivity).

I have tested all of them. To save my keyboard and to ensure you keep reading this, I’m not going to go through all of them. Just to say, they work and they work very well.

I used SS316 for these tests. Zero dry hits throughout and the cotton was not being destroyed either when drying out, just some very slight colouring.

Back to wattage mode – yeeeeaaaah!

Look, I get the whole idea of Temp Control and why it is a good thing for those hardcore drippers out there, I just don’t use it very often cause I’m using tanks, I can see how much juice I have. Gonna stop here before I talk myself into a deeper hole

Going up and down with the wattage is straight forward, left button for down, right for up.  The scroll speed is pretty good, starts off slow but speeds up, although it doesn’t round robin.  Hey, you only have 80W down to 5W to go, takes about 4 seconds.

Moving swiftly on, locking the screen is the fire and right button at the same time. This locks the entire mod, so no vaping, unlock using the same button combination.

Pros

• Dull Screen
• Getting to and navigating menu
• 18650 battery

Final Review Verdict

OK, so now that I have probably made an enemy of every Temp Control vaper out there – not many enemies then lol – the Asmodus Tribeaut is a beautiful little box mod.

If you are a fan of light, single 18650 battery mods (I know you are out there), I would highly recommend this. Please be patient with the menu!

If you are a fan of triangular shaped mods like me, you are going to find this extremely comfortable in your hand.

If this is going to be your first, you probably will find it a bit weird for a short time, but you will get over that very quick.

I do have a couple of issues with Asmodus Tribeaut though as mentioned above, it’s a single 18650 mod. Surely making this for a 21700 or even a 20700 battery wouldn’t have changed the size or even weight by much.

The problem as I see it, even with a fully charged battery inserted, if you are vaping at the max 80W, you will not be getting the full 80W for long. As the battery discharges, the wattage will degrade as well.

The next two are quite subjective, the menu and the screen itself.

The screen needs to be brighter for outdoor use, it’s fine like I said indoors, but you’ll be cupping your hand around it or looking for shade outside.

Finally, that menu. The Menu itself is fine, it’s the navigation button sequence.

Vapers new to box mods may not have a problem but the more hardcore may find the sequence a tad annoying.  It’s going to affect the ease of use score.

In my opinion, these are only subjective flaws for this beautiful mod. Look, it’s not a reason not to get it, if you vape around the 50W range or a MTL vaper, this is perfect for you.

If you vape at the 80W range, have a few spare batteries at the ready!

More Details On The Asmodus Minikin Kodama 21700 Mod

So the Minikin range of mods have been crowd pleasers for years and the “Kodama” badge is usually applied to special edition versions.

Kodama mods usually have a stabilised wood finish and are limited in numbers. Stabilised wood is a natural wood product treated with resin to preserve and enhance the finish. Due to this process every mod will be unique.

So this time around to meet the current market for dual 21700 mods – the Kodama 21700 will run on 2×21700 batteries which are not included in the kit.

Inside the mod is the GX-180TC-2 chipset which is similar to the one found in the EOS V2 and the Minikin 2.

The chip gives plenty of user modes including Variable Wattage, Custom Curves and Temperature control modes.

The maximum output is 180W – which will be lower when used in temp control modes.

On the front of the device is the 0.96in Colour HD screen and this time there is no touch screen but plenty of short cuts you can use with button combinations.

There are 3 different colours to choose from however as this is a natural product each model will be different. The base colours are Green, Blue and Purple.

Anyway I will tell you what I do know so far!

What Can We Expect From The Asmodus Microkin Starter Kit?

So this is a little pod mod kit with a removable and refillable pod. It does appear that the pod has a fixed coil – which means when the coil life has expired you will need to discard the pod and replace with a new one.

Sadly Asmodus do not state the kit contents so I am not sure what pods are supplied with the kit but there are 2 pod options available:

• 1 ohm dual coil pod
• 1.2 ohm ceramic pod

The pod will hold up to 2ml of your own e-liquid and have a side fill port.

There is no mention of airflow adjustment so I assume this is a fixed airflow device.

Moving on to the actual device, this has an internal 1100mAh battery contained within a Polymer Chassis with carbon fibre inlays.

There are 3 power levels to choose from which are displayed on the LED indicator –

• 3.2V (red light)
• 3.4V (green light)
• 3.6V (blue light)

You change the output by removing the pod and replacing within 2 seconds. The pod is secured in the device with a gold plated magnetic connection.

Also the light will display the battery capacity remaining.

On the device is a mounting point for a lanyard connection to make carrying easier.

There are 4 colours to choose from: White Carbon, Green & Red, Black & White and Black Carbon. However only the black and white carbon versions are shown on the Asmodus website at present.

The Barrage is designed to be the ultimate single coil RDA.

One feature (or lack of) which did surprise me is the airflow…

Basically the Barrage has a top airflow inlet design – where the heat sink fins sit at the top of the barrel are also the hidden airflow inlets.

The airflow then travels down to the deck and the air is directed towards the bottom of the coil.

All sounds reasonably straightforward – until you see that the airflow is not adjustable. So you only have one airflow setting. Great if it is spot on – but not so great if you did want to tailor it to your preference?

Moving down to the deck – sadly I haven’t any good pictures of the deck but it is for a single coil and being 24mm diameter should give you plenty of space for building and adding some groovy coils.

There are two posts on the deck, the holes are 3.5×1.4mm to allow plenty of coil type options. Also the coil clamp screws are gold plated.

Also mentioned are coil placement notches in the deck – I can’t properly see them but I think when installing the coil you sit your coil positioning tool on the notches so you know the coil is perfectly centred.

This can be used as a dripper using the solid gold plated 510 pin or install the included gold plated hollow BF 510 pin to use this on a squonk mod.

My all-time favourite vape mod is my AsMODus Luna stabwood squonk mod, a single 18650 pocket friendly device which looks sooo sexy…love it so much I’ve got two of them!

My best buddy also runs an AsMODus mod, the Lustro which he swears by. Secondly I’m a big fan of single coil RDAs, especially for squonking.

The .Blank however, is a little different to my normal choice of single coil RDAs such as Mike Vapes’ best-selling Recurve RDA or my personal favourite single coiler, the C-Roll by Ambition mods, as rather than being a 22mm, AsMODus have plumped for a 24mm design.

Before we dive in I’ll just address the name of the RDA. AsMODus have been a little cryptic with the actual name. It’s not the Blank or Dot Blank.

The full stop inserted before the Blank is meant to be read as a point…hence the name the Point Blank RDA (so happen to be one of my favourite Bruce Springsteen songs so another tick in the box from me for AsMODus!). Yeah it’s a bit unnecessarily enigmatic but hey ho, it is what it is.

The AsMODus .Blank RDA was sent to me for the purposes of review. My gratitude in no way alters my opinion on it and the views expressed below are my own impressions after a couple of week’s constant use.

Design and Build Quality

AsMODus has a reputation of making high quality kit at a reasonable price point and the .Blank is no exception to this. The RDA comes in AsMODus’s usual “ice puck” designed packaging. To my relief I received the black version (I usually seem to be sent rainbow versions of kit for review…not my first choice of finish).

The contents of the box are the usual array of spare O-rings, Allen keys, squonk pin, spare grub screws and a couple of triple fused Oni coils (0.2 ohm). First impressions straight out of the box are pretty good. The RDA is very clean with no machine oil and the finish is excellent with no visible flaws.

Starting at the top, the RDA features an 810 Delrin drip tip. However, this isn’t really a standard tip as it is fitted with a single O-ring so your standard drip tips won’t fit the device. Not a problem for me as I found the included tip to be perfectly comfortable but it’s something to bear in mind for those who prefer to use their own drip tips.

The top cap features six fully adjustable top airflow holes. According to AsMODus the airflow is designed to reduce turbulence and eliminate leaking during reasonable use. Air enters the top inlets and is directed downwards through the posts before turning inwards towards the centre where the air enters the chamber at the bottom of the coil to increase flavour.

The cap has AsMODus’s wheel logo engraved on both sides. I don’t find the logos particularly intrusive or in your face.

A pair of locking notches are machined into the top cap to lock it into place with the base.

Internally the cap features a PEEK disc which both reduces the size of the chamber and is used for adjusting the airflow.

The build deck is very similar to the one AsMODus used on the Bunker and C4 RDAs consisting of two wall-like posts which the air passes through and also help reduce the size of the chamber to increase flavour.

The base of the deep juice well is concave which help direct dripped or squonked juice towards the ends of your wick.

All in all I have absolutely no complaints as regards the build quality and the design of the .Blank. The quality is spot on and the design both simple and effective.

How Does The Asmodus .Blank Perform?

Building on the .Blank

Building on the Point Blank RDA is an absolute breeze. I used one of the included triple core coils.

• Simply undo the Allen key grub screws and slip your coil in and twist it into the coil notches.
• Centre the coil by eye and then tighten the screws with the include Allen key.

The design allows you to trim the coils once they are installed so there’s no need to second guess the leg length. The deck is nothing we haven’t seen before and is very similar to many other single coil RDAs such as the Entheon but if it works why change it?

Wicking is equally simple. Just feed a length of wick through the coil, chop to length (a few mm over the width of the deck) and using your tweezers feed it down into the deck.

I really don’t think you could have a more simple build deck that the one featured on the .Blank and I would have no hesitation recommending it for a newcomer to building.

Vaping on the .Blank

I mainly used the .Blank in squonk mode, however, I can’t see any differences to using it as a dripper.

Screwed onto my Dovpo Basium it looks the absolute business. Very clean; very classy.

I ran the 0.2 ohm coil (actually comes in at 0.25 ohm according to my mod) at the Devil’s wattage of 66.6 watts and filled up my squonk bottle with my all-time favourite juice, Ruthless Grape Drank. The squonk action is perfect with the concave deck allowing the wicks to saturate very quickly.

Flavour is pretty much perfect and as good as any other RDA I’ve tried…rich and full of depth. For me personally the airflow fully open was a little too airy, very Goon like if that’s you thing.

I closed the airflow to around half way and found that this offered a more restricted pull with a slight increase in flavour with no great effect on cloud production. Single coil RDAs are never going to be absolute cloud beasts but the production on the .Blank is perfectly respectable.

The .Blank isn’t a particularly noisy RDA but isn’t the quietest either. However, there were no whistles at any airflow setting. Overall the airflow is very smooth with no sign of any significant turbulence.

When it comes to squonking, the Asmodus .Blank RDA really is pretty much leak-proof. Yes you can make it leak but you really do have to try to do so. I don’t think I had a single case of leaking in two weeks constant use.

The top airflow directed down inside the internal walls gives you the benefits of a side airflow device but without the leaking issues both with squonking or dripping.

Final Review Verdict

I’m trying not to make this review a complete gush-fest but I guess by now it’s no secret that I absolutely love the .Blank.

I really like the simplicity of the design and really can’t fault the ease of build and the flavour production.  Yes there are far better RDAs for cloud production but if that’s your thing then you’re better off looking at dual coil RDAs.

The only real flaw, which wasn’t an issue for me but I understand that others may disagree, was the choice of the drip tip with the O-ring on rather than the O-ring being built into the deck.

The included drip tip is a little tall compared with my usual choice but to be honest after a day or so of usage I really didn’t notice.

Squonking on the .Blank is a dream. It really is pretty leak proof unless you have the hands of the Hulk.

I was a little puzzled why AsMODus designed the .Blank as a 24mm single coil rather than the more conventional 22mm single coil design. However, with the PEEK airflow at the top of the cap and the airflow walls either side reducing the internal chamber size, there really wasn’t any effect on flavour production and to be honest it looks more in proportion size-wise on my Basium than a 22mm does.

Ease of build makes the .Blank a great introduction to rebuildables for any newcomer and there’s a reasonable amount of room on the deck to fit a larger diameter coil if you so wish.

Would I buy the Asmodus .Blank RDA if I lost the one I have? You bet I would, it hasn’t left my Basium since I received it and has replaced my favourite RDA, the BTFC, as my daily RDA.

The Asmodus Minikin range have become firm favourites with a lot of vapers so the new 3S has some large footsteps to fill!

What does the 3S have to offer then?

The mod uses the GX0200-UTC chipset which is a new version and will require 2×18650 batteries for power.

The maximum output depends on the user mode selected. In Variable Wattage and Curve mode the output is 5-200W. If you are using Temperature control the output is 5-120W.

There is a high definition colour touchscreen interface and also fingerprint recognition – so you can basically “lock” your device – handy when children or thieves are about!

As mentioned above there are multiple user modes and the Temperature control mode is compatible with Ni200, Ti and Stainless Steel 304, 316 and 317.

The kit includes the Viento Sub Ohm tank which also has a protective ring to help prevent damage.

The tank can also use the Smok Baby Beast coil heads and the capacity is 4ml.

We have reviewed one of his previous products the DJV RDTA and our Laura-ann loved it!

So here is what appears to be the first box mod device from Adrian and it has been apparently inspired by Rifle Arms and weapon designs.

This is apparent in the colour range and also the mod is made from a Military grade abrasive blasting material and polymer.

Inside the mod is the Asmodus GX180 UTC chip used in mods such as the Lustro, Minikin V2 and Ultroner EOS.

As with the Asmodus mods this has a HD colour touch screen operation.

You get plenty of user modes including Variable Wattage, Temperature Control and Custom Curve Modes.

The maximum output is 180W using dual 18650 batteries which are not included in the kit.
